I really need help with this character I'm passionate about. He's a satyr bard with a Pact Magic Subclass I made called Blood Luster.
This subclass is different than things like Blood Knight and other Blood related subclasses. This subclass involves drinking blood imbued with magic to count towards support and enhancing abilities like Bardic Inspiration.
In looking at his character sheet, i can't figure out how to get the effects I desire or maybe the idea I have is too OP. So! I really need your input!
The things I really want for this character are:
-limited uses for custom spell "Blood Chalice" -Those uses of "Blood Chalice" being the spells I have made for that feature -Balancing the spells I have made and how to go about expanding the subclass -These spells to be always prepared, not affecting the count of spells that can be learned -The chance for Invisibility to be always prepared (almost as a racial bonus, but I'm not too knowledgeable) -Warlock Spell list open but only once since for some reason the spells I have chosen are doubling -Overall I have a 666/deal with the devil bloody theme going on :)
I'd really appreciate a look at these and let me know what is possible, impossible, or needs adjustment. (Also, please let me know how I can share the subclass, character, and spells so you can see them)
So I'm still working on the character. From your critique, I changed him to a Blood Hunter. I chose to go off of the Order of the Profane Soul as opposed to going from scratch. I like it all so far, however, the spells are giving me a tough time. I made a new feature, and even tried to put the spells in Pact Magic, but I either can't find them, can't add them, or they appear sometimes or wrong.
I want the spells to be a form of bardic inspiration, as in, it's a bonus action or special action that allows him to use a spell per turn. I have one cantrip, two lvl 1, one lvl 2, and one lvl 3.
I don't understand how to allow my character to cast these spells outside of the spell list, even though I've kept toggling the options off and on for spell lists/spell slots.

This sounds more like a Blood Hunter subclass tbh.
Why is Blood Chalice a spell? What's the point of Invisibility here - how does it mesh with the rest of the subclass?
