I've been working on this subclass for a while now and I need help with 2 things.
1: I need features for level 6 and level 17 2: I need a stance that uses the monk's Patient Defense for level 11.
Here's what I have so far:
Animal Stances
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you learn stances that harness the power of animals. Each stance lasts for 1 minute or until you use another one, are incapacitated, or choose to end the stance as a bonus action.
Bear's Hide. This stance embodies the tough hide and indomitable spirit of the bear. When you use your Patient Defense, you may spend an additional 1 Ki point to enter Bear Stance. When you enter this stance, you gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your monk level + your Wisdom modifier and as long as you are in this stance, you have advantage on Strength checks and saving throws. Any remaining temporary hit points disappear when the stance ends.
Viper's Fang. This stance mimics the viper's ability to strike with precision from a safe distance, coiling and uncoiling the body and retreating after attacking. When you use your Fury of Blows, you may spend an additional 1 Ki point to enter Viper Stance. While in this stance, your unarmed attacks have a 10 foot reach and score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.
Wolf's Hunt. The wolf leads the hunt, and this stance allows you to lead your allies in battle. When you use your Step of the Wind, you may spend an additional 1 Ki point to enter Wolf Stance. While in this stance, when you hit a creature with a melee attack on your turn, the next attack roll against the target by an attacker other than you has advantage if the attack is made before the start of your next turn.
Level 11
Eagle's Flight. This stance grants you the grace and mobility of an eagle, weaving in and out of the fray with ease. When you use your Step of the Wind, you may spend an additional 2 Ki points to enter Eagle Stance. While you are in this stance, you gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed other creatures have disadvantage on opportunity attack rolls against you.
Mantis's Grasp. The praying mantis can capture and devour prey many times larger than itself, and this stance allows you to capture and defeat your foes with blinding speed. When you use your Fury of Blows, you may spend an additional 2 Ki points to enter Mantis Stance. While you are in this stance, when you hit a creature with an unarmed strike on your turn, you can choose to automatically grapple that target (no check required) and the DC to escape your grapple is equal to your Martial Arts DC. While you are grappling a creature, you have advantage on the first unarmed attack you make against that creature on your turn.
