Looking for any possible stats on this weapon planning on using it as an important plot item in a homebrew campaign any help will b greatly appreciated.
So, what does it do? What weapon is it? What is the purpose of it in the campaign? Is it only useful against gods? Is that good or bad? (Do gods come up loads, or never). I need way more info. Also, is a player meant to wield it?

I don't think it was ever statted out as a sword in 1e. I'd lift the stats from something else like a 9 lives stealer maybe mixed in with a vorpal sword.

Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.
The campaign is going to be something along the lines of the party will stop (or help) 2 cults to bring destruction to the world 1 cult will be trying to bring shadowfell and possibly abyssal beings to their plane and the 2nd same but the hells instead if the party has a rogue I was thinking of giving them Godsbane if they joined the shadowfell side or the party it as a keep away game (will keep what the weapon is secret until they make a successful history or religion check)
I think the God killing name really only comes into its own if a god uses it to slay another god, in the hands of a mortal its just a very powerful but sentient sword.

It was originally wielded by mortals and specifically cyric b4 he became a god also I like your craven edge idea might steal some of its abilities thanks

Based on the description of Godsbanes powers I think I'd be inclined to go for powers in line with Craven Edge from Crit Role:
