I focus the targetting and adjust for the distance, take a deep break, and "pull the trigger" so to speak. Once done, I keep myself within the drones and have them continually move in erratic ways behind the trees to keep them from getting shot. I'm currently useless without these drones, and I'd rather ensure that I don't end up defenseless. Hopefully Olivia is making due with my pistol. I expect that back...

To keep the action going, one thing I like to do in Cyberpunk is, when it's time for combat, to keep it to a maximum of three rounds. This is called "Three Rounds And Out". Whoever "wins" sends the opposing group "running", or "surrendering" in some shape or form. In this case, we have clearly "won", so Logger5, after he gets hit by Beastie, drops his chainsaw, and surrenders. We are officially out of combat now, so what happens here is now back to "narrative" mode.
So, to summarize, here's some basic concepts of Cyberpunk that we learned so far.
SKILL CHECKS: Base + Stat + 1d10 vs a DV OPPOSED CHECKS: Base + Stat + 1d10 vs another opponents Base + Stat + 1d10 COMBAT: One move and one action RANGED COMBAT:Ranged Weapon Skill Base + 1d10 vs a DV based on weapon and range or against an opponents Evade check (If REF 8+). Can be ROF 1 or 2. MELEE COMBAT: Melee Weapon Skill Base + 1d10 vs an Opponents Evade check. Can be ROF 1 or 2. BRAWLING:Brawling or Martial Arts Skill Base + 1d10 vs an Opponents Evade check. ROF 2. Martial Arts attacks ignore half opponents armor. EXPLODING DIE: If you roll a 1 on any 1d10, roll again and subtract from your total. If you roll a 10 on any 1d10, roll again and add to your total. DAMAGE: Damage is reduced by your Armor's soak value, which then the value ablates by 1 per hit, and the difference is applied as direct damage to HP. CRITICAL HITS: If you roll two or more 6s when rolling damage, you've scored a critical hit. Add 5 to your damage total and roll on the critical hit chart.
