STEP ONE - INITIATIVE Qrow has initiated combat by ramming Beastie into the Logger Truck. So, the first thing we do is roll for initiative before ANY ACTIONS ARE MADE. We roll initiative by making a check: REF + 1d10.

IO:You roll initiative for yourself, like mentioned above, but on your turn you use your action to control both of the drones - letting them do one thing per turn, like each shooting once.
Jacking into the drones and keeping an eye on them was probably easier on my mind than riding and ramming into the trucks. As I watch the men now surprised and confused, it was probably an optimal time to keep the drones safe but active. Scrolling through the arsenal, I noticed that they're equiped with a high-pressure dart gun tipped with poison arrows. A grin forms on my face as I set the drones to fire from behind the cover of the trees towards the men. While they're distracted with us, the drones will continue to manuever and fire poison darts at them. By the time each one fires it's 8 darts, we would have either disposed of them, or still in combat, at which point, it would be about time to go loud with their turret.

Ok! So above is the initiative lineup. Here's how we take a turn. On your turn, you can MOVE and/or take an ACTION. Since this is play by post, your move will be, more or less, abstracted. For your action, you can do anything you can think of. Actions in this game are a little different than D&D. When you attack something, you're either trying to beat a DV (Difficulty Value) based on range to target, or you're directly opposing your opponents roll. Here's what I mean:
SHOOTING REF + Ranged Weapon Skill (You roll this)vs DV based on Range or Opponents REF + Evasion (IF they have a REF of 8) (GM rolls this) What this means, is that you can dodge bullets if you're fast enough. If you don't have a REF of 8 and you're being shot at, all the opponent has to do is beat the DV based on range. IF you have a weapon that has a Rate Of Fire of 2, for example, you can attack TWICE per round. You or your opponent, if you're able to, can attempt to Evade each attack against you. Since we rammed into the truck, and the loggers are nearby, the RANGE DV for this fight will be at 6 YARD range.
Based on the weapon you're using, you'll notice you have a different DV to beat based on range. NOT ALL WEAPONS ARE EQUAL.
If you hit, here is the damage chart per weapon, which i'll also upload in discord. Notice certain weapons have different ROF and damage.
BRAWLING AND PUNCHING REF + Fighting Skill (You roll this)vs Opponents REF + Evasion (GM rolls this) Anyone can try and dodge any physical attack against them. Like weapons, Fighting has a ROF of 2 and damage based on your BODY per hit.

ARMOR Finally, when you get hit, and you will, your Armor, or SP for Stopping Power, helps mitigate damage. Each time you get hit, two things happen. You subtract an amount of SP from damage you take when you get hit in your Body location, AND your SP value in that location ABLATES by 1 per hit to represent your armor taking a beating. Some rules change this, for example, how Martial Arts attacks only protect you with half your SP, and so forth.
So for example, if you take a bullet wound and suffer 15 damage, your SP of 11 in your Body location reduces that damage to 4. Then, your Body armor SP ablates by 1, so it's now 10 instead of 11 the next time you get hit.
Dorango hits Logger2! The logger does not have a REF of 8 or higher, so cannot dodge Dorango's shot. He gets hit, and reduces the damage done by 4 because of his armor. He takes 6 damage.
Logger2, Logger3, and Logger1 fire their SMGs at Beastie, aiming at the windows of the right passenger side. 22 vs DV15 doing 2 damage if hit. 18 vs DV15 doing 8 damage if hit. 18 vs DV15 doing 3 damage if hit.

Reaper puts the window down about half way and begins to fire at Logger2 "Time for more target practice." She says firing twice in rapid succession then puts the window back up.
To use the drone's very heavy pistol, you roll IO's Handgun base + 1d10 vs DV15 because of range. You are in control of the drone, so it uses your stats when you're jacked into it. If you hit, you do 4d6 damage.
To use the drone's poison dartgun, you roll IO's Handgun base + 1d10 vs DV15 because of range, too. If you hit, the target has to make a DV15 Resist Torture Drugs check or suffer 3d6 damage DIRECTLY to HP.

Drone 1: 15 vs DV15 Drone 2: 14 vs DV15
I dig myself deep down into the car to stay safe. Why did these guys have to be armed?! I jack into the drones, seeing two feeds. I start the recording and save them on my memory chip. At the same time, I initiate the dart guns. Best to keep them safe and hidden with silence weapons while they are distracted by my companion.
The targetting system active, I quickly aim and fire off two darts. Hopefully it will be enough to disuade them from continuing and either turn tail or stop cutting down the trees. Either way, intel was being gained, and the trees were being saved. Dead or alive, the money was ours all the same.
One of the drone's dart guns hits Logger2 (since no target was chosen, i'll just pick this one), here's the save: 11 vs DV15. Logger2 dies from a deadly does of Biotoxin.
Logger4 begins chain sawing some trees, taking advantage of the cover provided by the SMG team.
