Seeing Evendur having words with the same man again, Valas tries to sneak to that area while still under cover. If he can get close enough, things escalate, and there isn't another cultist right there, he'll try another Sleep spell.
The red-haired man snorts at Kosef's attempt to be menacing. "If you attack me, I can wake the whole camp. And you don't work for Rezmir; I recognize that one," he says, pointing at Evendur. "I see you have some money available. I think 50 gold is reasonable."
Valas can roll another stealth to sneak up on him.
"Fifty you say, let´s see. One...two...three...five...eight...no,...seven...uhm,...one..two..." As counting is not the strong suit of Sir Evendur Valas will have ample of time casting his spell.
Kosef worries that the redhead will take their money and then betray them.
To help Valas sneak, he takes the Help action by distracting the redhead, if possible. Kosef will move closer, within great sword length. He seems to do so to add his coin and assist in counting.
The red-haired man keeps his eye on Kosef as he also watches Evendur count coins. With his attention divided among multiple concerns, he fails to notice Valas sneaking close. No one else seems to be around, and when Valas casts his spell the red-haired man collapses unconscious.
Valas pops his head out of hiding just enough to give Evendur a grin before signaling towards the exit and starting to head that way under whatever cover he can find.
Kendes quickly drags the red-haired bandit out of sight, binding his hands and legs with a cut length of rope, and gagging and blindfolding him with a torn strip of fabric from the cultist's own tunic. Once the slumbering man is thusly dealt with, he relieves him of his weapons and searches his pockets for any coins or trinkets (investigation 17) before slinking off after the others once again.
(it occurs to me that Kendes probably would have just slit this guy's throat too, however, we're going to say he's in a hurry (sleep only lasts a minute) and he doesn't want a big pool of blood down here cluing the other cultists as to something being amiss)
Leosin: "Kendes! What are you doing here?"
On returning to Leosin's side, Kendes grins grimly. "Trying to make reparations for the past, you could say. I feel like my family is at least in part responsible for your condition just now." He pauses, seeming to consider something, then looks at Leosin sharply. "... Did you even know? Is that why you sought out my father?" A momentary look of vulnerability crosses Kendes's face, his tone pleading, as if he might already suspect an answer but doesn't want to hear it. "Why didn't either of you ever tell me anything?" He shakes his head roughly. "No... now is not the time. Let's get out of here first."

"A cultist taking bribes to let us go, no wonder if a cult this corrupted would collapse upon itself." Evendur says with contempt and heads for the camp exit, Master Leosin in tow. Perception to notice other threats:20
If there are no other intrerruptions Evendur will use lay on hands on Master Leosin (as much as needed up to 10 pts) and then allow him to ride on Bayard on the way back. "Until next time, Sir Rudneve." Evendur says to himsef as he puts the cultist robe in the saddle bag for possible future uses. Evendur also stays true to his word, releasing the kobold prisoners when they are out of reach from the camp.
Leosin nods feebly in reply to Kendes' words. "We'll talk ... later."
Patrolling guards are spotted, but easily avoided by traveling among the tents, and the group eventually works its way out of the camp. Leosin is ready to stop and rest, and grudgingly thanks Evendur for healing him. Now finding it easier to talk he says, "I am pleased you got my letter, Kosef, but I did not want you coming to rescue me. You two (adressing Kendes and Kosef) know what I can do. I could have escaped at any time, but I needed to learn about the cult. Hopefully you four managed to learn something from your adventure. We should talk back at the camp."
As the group sets out into the grasslands again, the sound of an alarm being raised can be heard in the camp. It seems someone has noticed something is not right.
"Oh I think we learned what we came for at least, but I will submit my report to Governor Nighthill as soon as we reach Greenest. I suppose you could let yourself be captured again if that is your wish Master Leosin." Evendur says, clearly confused over this less than thankful ex-prisoner. Evendur will then try to find a good pace leading Bayard heading for Greenest.
As the sound of alarm is sounded Evendur turns to the others. "My brave companions, you all did well infiltrating the cultist camp, but it is clear that we are not safe yet. We should hurry, they will surely send out a force that might catch up with us. Perhaps wise Xymor could watch their approach so that we can evade them or at least be prepared for combat."
"I am sorry if we ruined your plans, Leosin. It will not make things better, but we were trying to help you." Kosef pauses for a moment, looking back at the camp. "I wanted to return the favor of a saved life. Though, perhaps, it is not quite saved yet." Kosef helps Leosin hurry away from the camp. He takes a javelin from his back and listens for news from Xymor.
Valas nods at the suggestion of having Xymor watch their backs and the movements of any enemies in pursuit before passing the request along to his winged friend. The elf looks down at the ground at the tracks the party might be leaving and wonders aloud "should we not lead them straight back to Greenest, for the sake of the people there?"
Evendur ponders what Valas said. "I will take Bayard and lead them in another direction, try to cover your tracks if possible." He allows Master Leosin to unseat if he would prefer walking with the others. "Torm be with you brave companions, we´ll meet back at Greenest." Unless stopped Evendur then rides back to lure any cultists away from the others.
Xymor flies away from the group to take a look at the camp and communicates to Valas what he sees. A dark-scaled dragon/humanoid in robes has gathered together some kobolds with giant saddled lizards. The kobolds mount their lizards and start riding towards the camp exit.
Leosin dismounts Bayard to walk with the others. He looks at Evendur with concern, and says, "Be careful. This cult is far more dangerous than expected."
(Kendes tries to cover the tracks. Whether it's Deception or Survival, with advantage or not, he rolled two 3's in a row, for a total of 6. Sorry guys)
Kendes attempts to cover the tracks the party is leaving, but has a hard time finding the right tools to mask their passage.

"Come on," Kosef says. "We must away." Grateful for Evendur's risk taking, he tries to pull Leosin along faster. "Kendes," he says, "help me." He'll also try to move forward in ways that leave as little a trail as possible: Survival 11
The kobolds soon become visible to Evendur. He is able to draw their attention, and their leader points in his direction. Their lizards scramble after the knight and the horse, but as Evendur predicted, do not ride as fast. The kobolds make furious noises, but cannot catch up.
While Evendur and Bayard lead the kobolds away, Kosef is able to help Leosin along, and carefully chooses a path through the rocky area which avoids crushing an plants or leaving any tracks.
Evendur eventually loses his pursuers, who fall far behind his horse. He can then head back towards Greenest, just like the others. The return trip is uneventful, though Xymor, if he is still around, might be excited by the sight of a mouse. It is still a little dark when they return to Greenest, but a faint blue light starting to creep over the horizon signals that dawn is near.

Valas stealth, please ignore second role if the above offered Help doesn't apply: 12
If he succeeds in getting close enough to cast Sleep and no other enemies approach so as to make the Sleep rather pointless: 24 enemy HP
