Kendes concentration check: 21, which doesn‘t matter because he drops conc on fog anyway
Kendes grimaces from the blow, and realizes at this point the foggy area is doing more harm than good. Fading the fog away, he attacks the leader once again.
The blond man blocks Kendes spear, and prepares to taunt him, when Kendes punches him. Already weakened from many attacks, the blond man collapses, and lies unmoving on the ground.

Valas almost sidesteps another spear, but it catches him in the shoulder on its way by. Wincing briefly, he raises the bow, fires again, and withdraws another 30ft.
Hearing Everdur talking to the person at F13, Kosef is startled to see someone at I13. He moves to I12 and attacks from there: 17 for 10 damage. Just before he swings for the person's neck, he says, "You can keep your head with you by sharing what you know of the camp."
If the person looks like they might speak, he will not attack.

Evendur slashes into the cultist who attacked Kendes. He then tries to knock him over. Acrobatics: 13
Valas tries to fire an arrow at his attacker, but it misses again.
When the fog clears, the acolyte sees Kendes kill his leader. He makes an angry noise, and then gestures in Kendes' direction. A burst of flame appears. DC 12 Dexterity Saving Throw, Damage: 5 radiant
Kosef moves towards the acolyte and attacks. He attempts to get him to surrender, but the acolyte's last word is, "Never!" right before his head gets cut off.
The cultist Evendur attacked retaliates with his own sword. Attack: 21 Damage: 5
Valas' pursuer tries something else. Rather than run after him with the spear again and again, she decides to run away. She dashes south.
Map
Evendur is able to knock the cultist down, but he gets back up and is able to make his attack.
(I assume Valas's opponent is still within the 80ft base range of the bow.)
The elf smirks a little as the attacker turns and heads away, but knows she may now threaten his companions. He stands his ground and fires another arrow before moving 30ft back towards the battle in pursuit.
If he can, Kosef will drop his sword and fire his crossbow at the fleeing cultist: 17 to hit for 6 damage.
He will also yell, "She will warn the camp," to his allies and use his Action Surge to attack (if possible) with his crossbow again: 20 to hit for 2 damage.
Kendes drops to the phoenix pose and leans his weight back, and the blast of radiant light smashes into the ground between his legs, narrowly missing him. He then rises up with his spear in his hands, like a tidal wave, jamming it up through the acolyte‘s chin.
Dex save: 17
Spear attack: 25
Damage: 12
He either presses the attack or runs after the fleeing woman for his full 40‘ of movement:
Kendes' spear pierces the skull of the cultist, killing him instantly. He then races after the fleeing person. He is able to strike her, and she collapses to the ground. Finally, after several long seconds, the battle is over.
OOC: Do you want to do non-lethal damage or lethal damage?
As the last foe goes down Valas crouches down and hangs his head, occasionally looking up at more dead bodies courtesy of his hands and those of his companions. After a few moments to himself he then decides to head for higher ground or the best vantage point to ensure there are no enemies left and no more on the way. Eventually he returns to the others and begins inspecting the bodies to see if he can learn anything more about the cult, or if they have any particularly interesting items. Lastly, before the group moves on, he tries to recover some arrows.
Valas is able to observe the surrounding area from the rocks. He does not see anyone else. When he goes to inspect the bodies he notices that all the cultists are dressed in similar black leather tunics with flared black mantles. The two cultists who cast spells have a vial of holy water each, and one has an amulet with Tiamat's symbol on it. His arrows all seem to be in good condition, though a few have to be extracted from cultists.
OOC: For less interesting items: 2 clubs, 6 spears, 6 scimitars, 1 crossbow, 6 leather armour, 1 splint, and 1 longsword.
Evendur comes riding back to the others after collecting Bayard and the two goblin prisoners. He hasn´t been trained in infiltration. In fact he hasn´t even heard the word before but that doesn´t stop him from sharing his opinion on Valas idea. "Yes wise Valas, good idea, we can enter the camp holding these robes and the cultists will tremble in fear knowing that nothing will prevent us from exacting justice upon them." Evendur then looks around for any cultist still alive to interrogate.
(OOC:Actually I think using the robes to infiltrate is a great idea, although Evendur will need a reminder to keep playing the role of a cultist. Perhaps we should question any survivors for passwords and such. Perhaps Kendes last blow wasn´t a killing one. Maybe Kosef should take the splint mail. Btw, is there a system behind Valas switching between green and blue?)
Kendes doesn't hesitate when he punches the woman... with two kobolds in the party already, gaining an entourage of prisoners while trying to infiltrate their base seems like a poor idea. Afterwards, he returns, dragging the body with him, and arranging the fallen bandits in a row, both to avoid notice and to give them a semblance of a proper burial.
He helps Valas search, and nods at the observation. "We should each take a robe that best fits us... as much as I'd like to charge in with sword and spear drawn, I bet we're greatly outnumbered. And we're trying to cut off the head of the snake here, anyway. Subtlety might be our best bet."
Afterwards, he goes to check on the two kobolds that they had taken prisoner - where did they go, and what did they do, during this battle?
(Kendes takes, if no one else wants it, the crossbow - is it a heavy one or a light one? - the scimitars, the spears, and a tunic. He also takes the vials of holy water if no one else claims those, and what bolts he can find if it's a light crossbow.)
Unfortunately for Evendur, it seems the last cultist is dead.
The two kobolds have remained motionless during the fight. When Kendes approaches, one of the kobolds says, "We didn't try to run away! Don't kill us. We are good!" The other one nods vigorously.
OOC: The crossbow is a heavy crossbow. There is a case containing 20 bolts on the blond man's corpse. Also, it seems Valas actually posted to kill the cultist first. Sorry about missing posts 648 and 649.
(No problem, maybe Kendes punched the corpse to make sure it was dead, and the Kobolds noticed, LOL)
Kendes nods slightly at the two. "I appreciate that,"he says to them with a nod. To the others, he asks, "Should we press on, or look for a place to rest for now? If they sent this group to ambush us, we might have some time before they're expected back. And I could use a breather," he adds, putting a hand over his wounds.
"Aha, using the robes to pretend to be cultists, even more clever." Evendur comments and grabs a black leather tunic with flared black mantle for himself. "Yes a short rest before we move on to the camp. We must at full strength to be ready to fight Lennithon." he adds and finds a place to recuperate.
(OOC:Evendur somehow managed not to get hit in this fight. He has a cure d8+3 and lay on hands 10 pts if needed, but would prefer to save them if the resting should prove enough. I hope someone reaped the benefit of Evendurs intercept. I think it´s quite good but you would have to be within 5 feet of him when struck)

(Kendes would attack lethally.)
