If he succeeds, Kosef will ask for help from the prisoner(s) he frees. He hopes the cumulative effects of each freed person helping free the next makes things easier as they work together.
Valas whispers "well I suppose we could take a closer look in the caves for Leosin." "How will you get them past the guard tower? We could help with that first if need be." "That guard may just have to fall asleep in his watch" adds the elf with a small grin.
"No the guard in the tower seemed quite vigilant I´m afraid." brief pause "Oh, asleep by elven magic you mean, yes a very clever plan wise Valas. We just need to take care of these shackles first."
(OOC:If it is possible to break the shackles with the crowbar I suppose we will succeed eventually. Sleep sounds good. He will only be asleep for 1 minute though so if Kendes and Valas are going back for Leosin then someone better had climb up and tie and gag the guard I guess. Btw I think Leosin can be in another part of the camp and not necessarily in the caves.)
Evendur and Kosef manage to break the chains of the prisoners with the help of Kendes' crowbar, though not before making a bit of noise. The prisoners look excitedly at one another. They never believed they would leave the camp alive, but now they have a chance. They eagerly look at their four rescuers, waiting for the next action.
"Now let´s get you out of this camp ex-prisoners. Valas be prepared with that elven magic of yours." Evendurs says and looks out the tent. Perception to notice threats:14 If the coast is clear he then heads for the entrance of the camp as sneakily as can be expected:7
Evendur notices a few cultists and a few kobolds wandering around nearby. The cultists are wandering around the camp, as if they were patrolling, and the kobolds are sitting in place outside of a tent a few meters away.
Evendur waits until the patrol is out of sight. "There are still some kobolds in sight, we should make this look lika a transfer of prisoners. Now move out"Evendur takes point in the prison transport doing his best to look like the evil fallen knight Sir Rudneve that doesn´t like being stopped and questioned, especially not by lowly kobolds. Deception: 21 rolled with advantage if help action given with the charade, otherwise go with first roll as per ususal.
Kosef is torn again between trying to help Leosin personally and helping the others leave the camp. He worries that his is not quiet enough and knows stealth is required to help the monk. "I'll be listening, Valas and Kendes, and will arrive running, probably noisily, if I think you need help. Where will we meet if you are successful?"
He will then follow Rudneve trying to look as intimidating as possible: 16
Kendes actually manages to equip quite a few of the prisoners with his spare 10 scimitars and 4 spears. He does his best to help Evendur with his charade, and as soon as possible, makes for the shadows.
Before the party sets out with the prisoners Valas remarks "if they discover the escape, perhaps it will draw enough of the enemy out of the camp to make the search for Leosin a bit easier." "With that in mind, perhaps the prisoners should head back to Greenest with haste as soon as they are clear even if you two double back for us."
Valas tries to get a look at the watch tower and see how many are up there and then sneaks around the edge of the camp again to get close enough for his spell. He then waits for Sir Evendur's ruse to draw him close enough to the exit to suddenly slip out before casting his Sleep spell at the opportune time.
"Are we ready then?" Kosef says. He will start along with Evendur toward the edge of the camp with the prisoners. He does plan to take Valas's suggestion, pointing the prisoners to Greenest and doubling back toward the camp.
The kobolds watch Evendur and Kosef as they move the prisoners out of the tent. One of them looks suspicious, and is about to speak, when the other puts a claw over its muzzle, and whispers, "Do you want to be punished?" in draconic.
Valas can see two kobolds up in the watch tower guarding the entrance of the hollow.
The prisoners are a little frightened as they pass the kobolds, but they do seem reassured by Evendur and Kosef's presence as well as Kendes' weapons.
Having passed the kobolds, Evendur and Kosef just need to make it about 300 feet to get to the hollow's entrance. Most of the kobolds in the area seem to be resting or hiding. The exit is close, but the guard tower may still spot them.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Valas looks around for anyone other than the two kobolds in the tower that could be an issue. A bit concerned that his magic may not be enough to put two creatures to sleep he decides to give it a try but warns Kendes that they may need to climb up to the tower and subdue one of the sentinels. Assuming he can reach within 90ft and the timing is right with Kosef and Sir Evendur the elf weaves his magic. ([spell]Sleep[/sleep])
Valas' spell easily reaches up the 20 ft tower. He hears two thumps as the kobolds drop unconscious. The guard tower is now no longer watching, and if Kosef and Evendur look back, they may be able to spot the absence of guards.
Looking up Evendur spots the sleeping kobolds. "Hrmf, so they were asleep then, no discipline with these kobolds I must say. If Sir Rudneve had his way they would have been flayed in the morning." He then calmly and confidently leads the prisoners out of the hollow and watches for signals from Valas or Kendes if they want him and Kosef to join them in the search for Master Leosin.
(OOC: Perhaps Valas or Kendes should sneak up in the guard tower and take care of the sleeping kobolds so that they don´t wake up before Leosin is found and rescued. About Evendur and Kosef joining in the search I guess they could just keep on pretending being Sir Rudneve and Fesok looking to torture Master Leosin.)
Kendes nods at Evendur and silently motions at the tower, indicating his intent with a quick thumb drawn over his throat. He quickly makes his way up the tower to end the lives of the two kobolds who were there.
(Let me know if I have to reroll stealth or attack. He does have a dagger for simple throat slitting.)

Evendur ponders if the shackles can be broken somehow.
Kendes hands Evendur his crowbar. "Have at it with your strength," he says. "Use this to gain enough leverage to snap the chains."
"Oh, umm, yes of course, thank you Kendes, I will give it my best effort." Evendur says and tries to break the shackles.
Eight strength rolls if needed:2110129522914
Evendur clearly not being used to this tool has some varying degree of success.
(OOC: Good to hear from you Enkida :-)
Juste realized that the crowbar gives advantage :-P
Another eight rolls then:139719184195
With these final results: 19, 11, 14, 14, 22, 21, 8, 21

Evendur suggests that the prisoners keep their scimitars well hidden to not rise suspicion with the kobolds :-)
