The cultist is impaled by Kendes' spear, and, before he can even react, Kendes' second attack finishes him off. Kendes is left standing in a darker part of the cave.
Kosef begins to move toward the cave assuming that, given Kendes attacks, at least the entrance is safe. He will watch Kendes, alert for any warnings from him. He stays within great weapon range of Stor, at least for now.
Evendur follows Kosef into the cave, sheathing his blade and lighting a torch if necessary, letting Kendes and Valas decide if they want to scout further into the caves.
The cave branches to the east and south. To the east there is a slight drop off with wooden stairs, and to the south there is an area of darkness.
The eastern passage has a 10 ft drop, and contains a carpet of fungi, some of which are almost as tall as a person. A path to the left and to the right go through the fungi. A staircase leads down to the the floor on the right.
The southern area is another cavern area, with deep shadows. Kendes can make out an opening in the darkness, suggesting a passage which heads south-west.
Valas offers to scout ahead with Kendes down the dark southern passage and take advantage of their darkvision. Xymor sits quietly on his shoulder all the while.

Kosef waits until Stor steps forward to follow Evendur, then follows Stor. His passive perception is 11. He is watching behind them and keeping tract of those in front of him: Perception 15
(But is apparently distracted by the geology that surrounds him.)
Stor walks ahead, seemingly unaware of Kosef's lack of trust in him.
Kendes finds little of value, but the cultist's scabbard has an interesting dragon design. The cultist also has a scimitar.
Kendes and Valas enter a the dark little passage. After a few feet, it branches into two different areas. The passageway to the left is dark, but the one on the right dimly glows with light.
OOC: Feel free to open the spoiler for the room you enter.
Right Passageway
The room is 20 ft deep and 45 ft wide, and contains several sleeping and relaxing cultists, as well as beds for them to sleep on. Valas and Kendes count 13 people, five of which seem to be asleep. A lamp faintly emits light. None of the cultists notice them.
Left Passageway
The dark room contains one passed-out cultists, a bottle of wine, several overturned boxes, scattered coins, and small gems. There is nothing else in the room.
Valas takes a peek at the right hand room and then retreats, thinking better of tangling with so many cultists. He then goes left before reporting back to the others. He tells them of the cultist count, likely too many to tangle with and that they best keep on scouting elsewhere, but notes this group could of course be a big problem if the enemy sounds the alarm before the party can escape.
Kendes sneaks into the dark room on the left passageway, hoping to find a cache of dragon eggs. Spotting the passed out cultist, he sighs in disappointment. As the person is insensate, he decides to bind and gag them first, before relieving them of their weapons and collecting the scattered valuables in the room.
On returning and hearing Valas's report, Kendes whispers, "What if we were to fill the room with fog, and then attack them in the confusion? Does anyone have a means of muffling them as we fight? If we want to avoid that, we could try to barricade the room. I'm not sure which side would lead deeper though; I didn't spot any other obvious xxits on the lefthand passage. And certainly no dragon eggs."
"I would bet the eggs are beyond the room the cultists are currently in," Kosef says. "Could we start a distraction that would pull some of them outside the cave?"
"I´m not very good with muffling things, but a distraction might be good. Wise Valas, could you call on that thunder again, that should take care of quite a few cultist I would expect, although that is not very subtle come to think of it. The fog sounds good though brave Kendes."Evendur says trying to contribute to the planning.

Kosef is careful to stand behind Stor, but he also takes a javelin from his own back. He watches the cultist, waiting for his stealthier companions.

Evendur feels that Stor can likely be trusted.

Seeing the others willing and waiting, Kendes creeps forward towards the cultist, and leaps on him from the shadows, his spear pointed and ready.

He then gives a nod to Valas, and continues to lead the way as quietly as he can, looking for more danger.
