I believe this counts as a melee attack? If so, the Water Elemental will take 15 cold damage from lvl3 Armor of Agathysand has its speed reduced by 20ft. (so, down to normal 10ft / swim 70)
Either of the water elementals Slam attacks are melee, but I'm counting the other stuff as a byproduct of it's movement and a combination of Water Form and Whelm.
Both Bow and Zenodor are magically propelled upward and expunged from what might be considered it's head and shoulders, falling back down to the ground taking 5 bludgeoning damage and ending up Prone within 5 feet of the water elemental.
(Petcan is up. Zenodor is next.)

As Petcan's rays of fire strike the water elemental each once disperses a quarter of it until nothing is left.
The ship's proceed and clear the fogbank. Shortly afterward the crow's nest calls "Land Ho!" and you soon see the island in the distance, it will still take 2 or 3 hours to reach but it is elating to sight your destination after such a harrowing journey.

Zenodor thanks the rest of the team. "Well done, all. An impressive display of skills. I still am puzzled why this convoy of ships and people is pursued by such a random assortment of monsters." In the meantime, he sends his familiar to scout the landing site ahead of the ships.

Bow rests as well, after taking some pretty big hits, enjoying being able to breath normally. After which he focusses on something he has trained for during rests etc in the past time. Suddenly he gets it to work and for 18 seconds you see him walking through objects before he suddenly walks into a wall.

“Perhaps these are just strange times we live in. The world turns and nothing stays the same. Or maybe it’s an angry god. Or nefarious occultists. Or plain bad luck. It’s near impossible to say, out here.” Petcan will take a long rest, luxuriating on the deck.

Zenodor medidates, communing with his Patron who helps him strengthen their bond and enables Zenodor to further enhance his skills. [Z rests and levels up]
With his newfound eldritch knowledge, among other things Zenodor is now able to better communicate with his familiar or perceive with its senses - at any distance on the same plane. [Voice of the Chain Master invocation taken] With this new powers, he determines that he can spare his familiar for the time being and tasks the Imp with flying back to the city of Laurentiis to check on the progress of the Goblin Hordes. Z will occasionally check in with his familiar and see/hear with its senses to check on progress. Once in Laurentiis, the Imp (transformed into a Crow and magically invisible of course) will scout around for the Goblin Hordes or any signs of what happened. If it cannot find the Hordes, maybe it can find a newspaper or something similar? If nothing obvious can be found, Z can then resort to talking through the Imp in his own voice to merchants or others to try to find out what happened.
It will take a couple of days for your Imp to make it back to Laurentiis (it could make it in a day and a quarter but would arrive with 2 level of exhaustion... your choice?).
The ships weigh anchor and begin transporting people and cargo ashore. Mynash sent along 3 score soldiers to help guard the refugees as they build the trading outpost. They form up into 20 mounted cavalry, 20 archers, and 20 foot. The island is not large but neither is it small. The captain suggests exploring for natives or monsters to determine if the island is inhabited by anyone or anything.

During the unloading process, Randall converses with the soldiers and makes sure they know to come to him if they are in need of healing.
”Well-said, Tempe, but many creatures give in to their baser nature, even if cooperation and trade would benefit them more,” responds Randall, “Let us hope we meet those who are able to rise above such self-defeating impulses.”

"Are they Fishermen or Farmers? Or both? Farmers would need to clear land and crops to plant. Fishermen would need a Warf and boats. Craftsmen would need people to trade with as well as materials. As well as a dock maybe in a lagoon. People need focus or perish"
Tempe wonders aloud while helping the people.

Bow helps the crew unloading and than agrees with scouting the closer parts of the island to make sure that at least is save.
