Leaving the armor shop with your three new companions, you turn left, head south back to the Waterdeep Way, and then turn left (east) again. From there, its just a short walk back to the Blue Ewe. Upon seeing the sign and the insignia of a small blue sheep, Adrik finally sees how it's spelled and lets out a hearty chuckle.
"Not what ah had in mind, but it all makes sense now. The Blue Ewe. Like ah said, as long as they got enough food and drink to feet a dwarf who's just been magical transported across the ocean..."
Upon entering, Eileena eyes the common room, "Well, this is nice, and rather civilized, by the look of it. It's been a while since I've had the chance to enjoy some proper entertainment, and perform myself. Hopefully I'll be able to take my own turn on the stage."
As you walk through the city and arrive at the inn, Devyn alternates between looking around everywhere in obvious intrigue by everything he sees, and making notes in his small parchment book that he carries. "It is fascinating to actually be here in the City of Spendors! Akadi would be proud to know that her winds have brought us here to see this new place!"
"It weren't the wind, it was some blasted magic trap that brought us here! And even if it was, she coulda just waited 'til ah grabbed the horn?"
Stepping closer to Arisa, Eileen says with a casual eye roll, "It's always the same with these two. Constantly bickering and such. it gets a little old, but I suppose it's entertaining. And we certainly do follow the winds, as it were; we're constantly on the move. We've seen a lot, and we do make a good team."

Belkas
The leatherworker is quite intrigued by the notion of making a tiny suit of armor for an imp. "Hmmm... I've never made a suit that small, but no reason I can't. Would cost you 20 dragons, and you'll just have to tell me exactly how small we're talking. He produces a cloth measuring strip and says, "Show me the measurements and where the wing holes need to be."
"Although....
"If you were able to summon him right now, I could do the measurements myself and get 'em exact. That's the best way."
----------------
Zyllith
You don't see any guards or security around the wall, or entrance to the villa. When you ring the bell, you wait for about a minute, and then the front door opens and you are greeted by an older thin, gray haired man dressed in a suit that would indicate that he's probably the butler.
Zyllith looks over the older butler up and down before giving him a dazzling smile, "'Ello, luv. This the Thann house, yeah? I come as a messenger from a certain lady Liang. Might ye let me in ta' speak wit' tha lord o' tha house?"
Belkas nods and, making elaborate and wizard-like movements with his hands, casts Major Image, creating an illusionary portal in the center of the room.
A beautiful pastoral land can be seen inside, with small cuddly white rabbit creatures floating around. One approaches. Belkas speaks more incomprehensible words, and it transforms into an imp, right where the invisible Crowley is hovering.
Illusionary smoke covers the scene, and Belkas thinks to Crowley, 'Drop your invisibility now, and remember to talk like a kind and helpful spirit.'
“Well Eileen, I look forward to you meeting my companions. We are similar- a good team and we never really know where we will end up next! I hope you enjoy the food and company- and some of my companions are good entertainment!” Arisa says. “We’ve experienced some dark times lately and are in the mood for a little relaxing. As you may have noticed from my old armor, I’m hoping the new works out well. “.
The elderly butler answers with a slight, but perceptible bow of his head. "Yes, m'lady, this is House Thann. Cauldar Marskyl at your service."
"You are friends with the young Lady Liang? Goodness!! We haven't seen her in quite a spell! What news do you have from dear Zi?

Belkas
The leatherworker watches curiously as Belkas performs his ritual, apparently having absolutely no idea that he was "pretending" with his illusion before telling Crowly to appear. When the imp does show himself in his full, and regular fiendish form, the man stares at him for a few seconds and then says,
"Well, that was.... interesting. A helpful spirit bunny that can change into a ... I don't know exactly what that thing's supposed to be, but it's definitely more frightening than a regular ol' bunny, although I did hear a tale once about an especially vicious bunny that could defeat a whole phalanx of fully armored knights with its nasty, big pointed teeth. Story was that this bunny was so foul, so cruel that no man yet has fought with it and lived. Bones of full fifty men lie strewn about its lair."
"I don't know how much truth there is in that story, but it's kinda funny to think about. Anyway, I ain't too well versed in magic and magic spirit creatures, but yea, I can make some armor for that..."
He grabs his measuring strip and walks towards Crowley, approaching with a little bit of uncertainty. "Ok, I ain't gonna hurt you, little bunny spirit... if that's really you underneath there... just need to take some measurements. Stand still... just take a minute or two."
Assuming that Crowley obliges, the man carefully takes the necessary measurements, and then he steps back and says, "Got everything I need. Shouldn't be a problem. Wings'll be tricky, but I think the answer is to make a top that goes on from the front, then ties in the back, with a flap that folds down and fastens at the base of the wings."
"Whole thing'll take 3 extra days."

Eileen answers as Adrik rushes into the common room to seek his first of many rounds of cold ale. "I look forward to meeting your friends later this evening! I wouldn't say that we've had especially dark times of late, but then again, we have been far away from here for the past few months. Of coruse, we've had our share of... unpleasant encounters, but I suppose it's all about perspective. What's unpleasant for me might be an absolute joy for Adrik, or it might hold a deep fascination for Devyn. Sometimes I just feel as if I'm tagging along all the time, but at least I've got great stories to sing about. So you might say that my joy comes later!" she laughs.
"I will say, it's good to be back, although I have never actually been to Waterdeep; we sailed out of Baldur's Gate for our last adventure. And yes, your old armor did look quite... used... You must have had some rough times out there. Maybe later you can tell me more about your own adventures of late. I do feel as if I'm a bit in the dark about what's going on around the western regions."
"Aye fine fine. And rioght pleasure ta' meet ye'. If'n ye don' mind, might we head in 'fore discussing details? Nothin' untowards, I assure ye'. Jus' seems might rude ta' speak o' friends at yer gate, out 'n public as we are."
Vernon responds to Ovina, "I have a special hammer to repair. Riatur said you could make it look like it used to, and might even know its history? Recently it has fought giants and oozes." He holds up the hammer hopefully.
"Why yes. Please... do come in, m'lady." Caludur brings you inside the grand entry foyer of the main house of the villa. "Now, what news do you have of our dear young lady Zi?"

"Sorry, I don't know much about jewelers and such, but you'll probably find someone like that in the northern parts of the city."

Vernon
Ovina answers in her stout, slightly gruff tone, but with an excited smile and slight twinkle in her eye. "Well, let me see what you got!"
She inspects the hammer carefully, with her eyes occasionally darting back toward Vernon, and then she says, "Well, you certainly done a number on this one you lil' rascal! Dwarven hammers ain't made for fighting' oozes, but I s'pose the ooze didn't give you much of a choice. They ARE made for fighting' giants, though, and if yer still here standing in front o' me, then it means you got quite an arm!"
"I won't lie, it's a mess, but don't worry ... She's still got plenty o' giant ebashing days left in her. I can fix her up for ye. Good as new. Might take a few days, 'specially if you want me to redo all the engravings, too."
"You got a very special weapon here, sweetheart, I ain't gonna lie. Deep in lore, this one is, I can tell by the pattern on the engraving. See them runes here on the head? Some of 'em been melted away by yer oozes, but the ones I can read are plain as day. Old dwarves runes that tell the story. This here hammer was a gift to Garl Glittergold, bequeathed upon him by the great Moradin himself, after his help when the dwarves and gnomes teamed up together to fight the evil goblin lord and his followers in the great and bloody 'Battle Beneath the Spine' that took place in the year 642 DR."
Belkas thanks the leatherworker, leaves a down-payment [50%?], waves his hands around impressively and uses Minor Illusion to create a chiming sound as Crowley fades into invisibility.
As they head back out into the streets, heading north, Crowley says, 'Floating white fluffy bunny spirits?! I feel offended down to the deepest depth of my diabolic soul.'
'You don't have a soul, Crowley. That's part of what makes you an imp.'
'I was considering yours as my own. And after all that lying and slandering you just did, I'm sure there's not much left to corrupt.'
'Keep your eyes eyes on the street Crowley. If I get a knife in my back, you'll be moping around Avernus again, acting as cannon fodder. Besides, I think you'd miss me.'

Siobhan assesses the running horse and the chasing man; her intervention will depend on how upset the horse appears to be. She wonders if the animal appears frightened. (Animal Handling 16 or Insight 22)
Watching the horse as it runs towards you, your natural instincts for animal behavior tells you that it’s probably just a bit spooked. Not too much so, but enough that it probably bolted away from whatever startled it. Here in the city, there are certainty plenty of things that might have surprised or temporarily frightened the animal.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Siobhan does not intervene, though she does sympathize with the horse's stress. She has accepted she is unlikely to find an herbalist and instead is going to continue to wander the streets and attempt to become more comfortable with the hustle and bustle of so many people together. As she wanders, she is looking to see if there are any other firbolg to be seen. Perception 24
Arisa, while enjoying the food and company of the tavern, visits with her guests and gathers what information she can from them, she's particularly interested in learning about the arcane aspects of their adventures- magic items they've seen, interesting spells and magical places, anything about dragons or giants, and strange orders of clerics or cults. After a while, she says "well, I think i can pick up my armor now, they shou;d be done with the engraving, I can see you back here in a while- you will love to hear the stories my companions can tell" With that she heads back to the armorer.
Zyllith took a moment to take in the grand foyer, it was certainly much fancier then the sort of places she typically frequents. It was curious that the butler wasn't going off to alert whoever was the lord of the house. It's possible that they simply weren't here, Zyllith mused to herself, or that they were being cautious of her, not that she could blame them either way. Regardless, this butler was being plenty friendly towards her so she was hardly complaining.
"O'course! Ach, forgive me, but I didnae catch yer name? I'm Zyllith grand swashbuckling 'venturer, n' part o' tha' Dragon's Aces. We be tha group whot helped Lady Zi against the giant attack o' Goldenfields!" She flashed a grin as she gave a flourishing bow towards the butler before she continued, "Oh aye, 'was a grand an' excitin' battle tha'. Oh but don' ye' worry, Zi herself was unhurt. 'Twas her grand efforts combined wit' ours an' many a friend whot saved most o' Goldenfields kin. Rest assured she be enjoyin' tha' simple life servin' Chauntea, an' doin' well at it by my account 'least." She offered the butler abright friendly smile at this before she began to reach into her pack for something.
"On tha' note she did bade us ta' deliver somthin' here. Hope ye' will understand it's meanin' then." Zyllith then pulled out the black pearl pendant that Zi Liang had given them back in Goldenfields and showed it to the butler.
Watching the horse go by, you see it gallop quickly up the street, until it disappears from sight, lost in the throngs of merchants and street goers, while its apparent owner continues to chase after it.
Wandering further, while trying not to be overwhelmed by the sights of the city, your eyes suddenly catch a tall figure across the street. You're not sure if its just your eyes deceiving you, seeing what you want them to see, but you realize that it is indeed another firbolg. It appears to be a male, middle to late in life age, with long blonde hair cascading down from the top of his head and mingling with the similar colored hair of his beard. He wears what looks like a necklace made of leaves strung together, and upon his shoulder sits a small bird, possibly a kestrel.

Arisa
During your visit with Eileen in the common room of the Blue Ewe, you learn the following about this trio and their recent adventures:
Their most recent adventure was a search for the famed Horn of Valhalla, which took them to the Moonshae Isles, which they had found to be a fascinating, and often very wet and foggy place. They had spent weeks exploring the different islands of the chain looking for the horn, in part as a quest from King Derid Kendrick. They had finally located the horn, and were about to grab it when they triggered the teleportation trap and suddenly found themselves in Waterdeep.
Before then, they had helped rid a small town near the base of the Sword Mountains of a wyvern, who was stealing sheep.
A few weeks ago, they had heard of a magic fountain that would bestow the boon of luck, somewhere in the forests east of Neverwinter. They searched for a couple of weeks, but never found it.
Before that, they went searching for a very rare suit of magical White Dragon Scale Mail Armor, which they thought might be somewhere in the glaciers of the Spine of the World, but they never found it. However, Eileen did say that she found a pair of boots that allow her to move very quickly. They often go searching for long lost magic items, but are rarely successful. Eileen continues to search for one of the famed magic bardic instruments, and so maybe that's what she'll focus on next. As a bard, she's well versed with magic, and is fascinated with with the search for magic items; that's often what drives them on their quests, but Devyn's devotion to the goddess Akadi has them moving quickly from place to place, so often times, their searches are cut short to run off to some other adventure.
They spent quite a few weeks wandering through the Dessarin Valley and along the Evermoor Way, fighting orcs and trolls, which seem to be running more prevalent of late.
A few weeks ago, they were traversing the high road when they had a run in with a large group of thugs, one of which had a pet flying snake. Fortunately, Eileen was able to sweet talk their way out of a confrontation, but she had very bad feelings about them.
She hasn't heard specifically about any increase in Giant activity, although they did run into a couple of hill giants a few weeks ago, somewhere in the hills near the Dessarin River. She does say that she might know where one of the famed Giant Slayer weapons is located. A seeker of lore, she once heard that there is one hidden deep in the Graypeak Mountains.
Regarding magic locations, she asks you if you know of The Grandfather Tree, and its magical restorative powers. And aside from that, it's just an amazing place to visit and a wonderful sight to behold.
Finally, Eileen says that on a recent adventure, she found a scroll that contains the spell Beacon of Hope, and as a token of her thanks for your help, she offers it to you. She tells you that she looks forward to seeing you again later.

Zyllith
"Oh... please excuse me, my memory is now what it once was. I thought I had introduce myself at the door. I am Cauldar Marskyl, the head butler for House Thann."
When Caldur sees the pearl pendant, his eyes light up. "The Thann family and the Liang family were longtime allies. Of course, the elder Liangs have since passed, and Zi is their surviving daughter. I am glad to hear that she is healthy and living an enjoyable and fulfilling life. She was never one for the lucrative businesses that her family ran, but I always knew that, having know Zi since she was a little girl. Fierce independent streak in that one, but a fair, kind soul. I do miss her."
"However, by giving you her pendant to bring here, she has clearly shown me that she has no intention to return. It also signals that she trusts me to bequeath her inheritance to you. For what reason I do not know, but I trust Zi Laing, and she would never give her pendant to just anyone."
"Please give me a moment and we will fetch the belongings that dear Zi has apparently entrusted to you."
Caldur claps his hands an calls out, and two servants quickly appear into the foyer. He gives them instructions, and they leave the room, returning in a few minutes with an old wooden trunk, which they set down at Zyllith's feet.
"Tha' ... tha's a might touch more than wha'd I expected." Zyllith comments as she looks over the wooden trunk before her. She turns back up to Cauldar with a bright friendly smile this time as she recounts her experiences with Zi Liang, "Aye, ye'd be glad ta' know Zi remains tha' same determined lively soul ye remember her as. And m'sure tha by sendin' me here, she remembers and misses ye as well. Should our paths 'ere cross again, I'll be sure ta' tell her in kind 'bout ye as well. Ta' say tha' las is kind seems bit o' an understatement now." Zyllith turned back to the wooden trunk before reaching out and opening it to see what was inside. "Don' suppose she might left some particular instruction with whot she entrusted, did she?"
Caldur answers. "I'm grateful to know that young Zi is happy and healthy, and has people in the world that she trusts. And of course, it makes me happy to know that she still thinks of me; we had quite a history together. Those chapters have since closed, but it sounds like she is carrying on in the way that seems best for her. I always knew that she'd find her way, and it warms my hear to hear this confirmed."
"As far as what's inside, I think it will be quite self explanatory. It is yours to do with what you see fit."
When Zyllith opens up the chest, she sees that it contains three items, which are carefully packed and protected with a bed of soft fabric: a vial of glimmering red liquid, a vial of thick liquid that resembles syrup, and a fine silver necklace set with a jade pendant.
Arisa gladly accepts the scroll and is thrilled with all the stories and tales. She then heads to the armory, hoping to catch them before it gets too late.
Leaving the Blue Ewe, you head back out into the streets and makes her way once again to the Halls of Hilmer. By now it is late afternoon, and although the sun is still relatively high in the sky, the Trade and Castle Wards are showing signs of end-of-day activity, with some merchants hurrying to conduct their last business of the day. Of course, some merchants, especially food carts and restaurants stay open late into the evening.
Nonetheless, the streets are filled with people coming and going, which makes navigating through the crowded a little more slow, but eventually you make it to the armor shop. Stepping inside, you are greeted by the familiar merchant, who offers you a mug of hot cinnamon tea while you wait for them to fetch your suit.
After a few minutes, two of the staff bring out your brand new purchase. The half plate armor gleams with a brilliant shine, and upon the left breast is a blue star of Mystra, emblazoned right onto the metal. The insignia is a little bit smaller than an open hand, and it stands out with prominence and vivid contrast against the bright steel, which has been polished to an almost mirror finish.
"Well, what do you think? It looks as if our artist took some liberty and went a little bit beyond the stated budget of 50 gold. However, not to worry. Consider that a but a token of our appreciation for your business. Would you like some assistance putting it on?"

Leaving the leather worker's shop, you begin to make your way north through the muddy streets and pungent air of the Dock Ward. Most of this area down here is fairly empty, and what people you do see generally look pretty rough, dirty, drunk or all three. From the stall, you have to walk through a few small backstreets and alleys in order to reach the much wider Way of the Dragon, which will take you north, back to the center of the city.

She flashed a grin as she gave a flourishing bow towards the butler before she continued, "Oh aye, 'was a grand an' excitin' battle tha'.
