As Vernon rushes over to lay healing hands upon his bleeding companion, Zyllith seizes the moment and sprints out from her hiding place in the bushes. She whips a dagger at the flying demon, and barely has time to watch it sink deeply into the creature’s abdomen, before diving into a small pile of brush just on the far side of Belkas and Siobhan.
Arisa continues with more successful attacks against this terrible enemy, with both her sacred flame and spiritual weapon delivering even more damage.
Belkas, who is now fully in it again, and bleeding less than he was a few moments ago, launches two more arcane blasts. Thanks to the greenish glow that’s making it easier to hit, one of them does connect. By now, the creature appears to be badly injured, but it shows no sign of backing down.
Just after Siobhan pelts it with her sling, the beast drops back down to within 10-feet from the ground, obviously poised for an attack. However, instead of engaging in melee again, it rears up, opens its wings and begins shaking them with a series of quick vibrations.
The motion creates a cloud of spores that drops down from its huge wings and descends upon Zyllith, Belkas. Siobhan and Vernon. They suddenly begin to choke and cough as they try to resist taking in a full breath of this strange powdery discharge.
After it releases the spores, the fiendish beast flies back up to a height of 30-40 feet above you.

Being right at the edge of the spore cloud, Zyllith somehow manages to avoid breathing in too much of the toxic air, while Belkas finds himself in the brunt of it and is now poisoned, taking 10 damage.
After his action this turn, he can roll another DC14 CON save to see if he’s able to kick the effects of the poison.
Belkas coughs as the poison fills his lungs. He uses the little air he can gasp in to cast two Eldritch Blasts at the creature. He coughs more until he throws up and manages to get most of the poison out of his system, although he feels miserable afterward.
Zyllith doesn't have any way to attack the creature at range right now. So she remains out of sight for now, ready to strike once the creature is on the ground.
Siobhan attempts to maintain focus on her Healing Spirit but she keeps coughing from the stinging of the poison spores. The stag dissipates into a silvery mist and fades away.
Lacking any good distance attacks, Siobhan turns to Belkas and rests a hand on her shoulder. Still coughing, she channels power to heal one of the few allies capable of hurting the monstrosity. Right after she does so, Siobhan takes a single step and vanishes.
Unseen by her comrades, Siobhan moves 15 feet away from the cluster of her allies. Until such time as this creature is grounded it is better to stay out of the way and be ready to provide healing with her remaining spells. She tries to cough silently and expel the remaining poison but can't get it out.

As Siobhan heals Belkas and briefly fades out of sight, Vernon and Zyllith stand at the ready in case the beast drops down into close combat range. Belkas once again fires off a pair of arcane blasts, but the combination of pain and poison hinder his accuracy and he’s unable to land either attack.
Holding her spirit guardians, Arisa moves her spiritual weapon and attacks again, hitting the creature with a solid blow to the skull. It wavers, clearly battered, but retaliates by diving straight towards Vernon, who is standing ready with his lance extended.
The fiend tears into the small gnome with its claws Attack: 10 Damage: 12 and beak, Attack: 7 Damage: 14, before trying to retreat into sky.
However, with steadfast determination and courage, Vernon rams the lance right into the monster’s chest, as it tries to fly away, killing it with a flash of radiant light.
Belkas and Siobhan need to make DC14 CON saves again.
“You killed it!” Arisa stands stunned looking at Vernon. “I thought we were doomed! What a horrific creature.” She turns to look with concern at her companions, ready to lend a hand.
Zyllith walked up to the creature and made sure to retrieve her dagger from its flesh, "Bloody 'ells this is a rioght nasty beast innit? Seems as it hurt some o' our lot might hard. We now must be headin' ta town where'n we might rest an' heal. Gonna be askin' fer death if'n we do more than this."
Vernon will drop his lance and go touch Belkas again, then Siobhan, using Lay on Hands. (5 HP if the poison is already gone, or neutralize the poison (for the same cost) if not.) Once everyone is stable, he will collect his equipment again.

"Thank you," Siobhan whispers to Vernon hoarsely. "That poison was brutal."
Before doing anything else, the firbolg takes a moment to focus on her body and any remnants of the spores around them. What was that substance and what should be done if they ever face such a monstrosity again?
"Thank you everyone. I feel much better now, but that was," The warlock pauses for moment, searching for an adequate word, "unpleasant. I agree that we should return to Waterdeep as soon as possible."
The imp circles down l, spitting on the carcass before landing on Belkas' shoulder. "You know," it says, "if you had brought one of those goblin-launchers from Goldenfields with you, you could have shot the gnome up there to skewer the oversized chicken and avoided much of the unpleasantness."
With the corpse lying before you, you get a better look at how this large fiendish creature resembles a giant hybrid of humanoid and vulture, and now that you’re close, your senses are assaulted by the foul stink that emanates from its gnarled, bestial body and broad wings.
Siobhan can see a fine dusting and tiny clumps of dark gray dust around the area and on your clothes, and identifies them as the spores from the poison attack. He’s never seen anything like this substance, but then again, this is a beast from the lower planes and not of the natural world.
(Nice! Second try:)

Need those four to make a CON save.
Zyllith CON Save: 20+1 = 21
Sylnache Ashrain - 7th Sojourn
Belkas CON save: 12 (10+2)
Being right at the edge of the spore cloud, Zyllith somehow manages to avoid breathing in too much of the toxic air, while Belkas finds himself in the brunt of it and is now poisoned, taking 10 damage.
After his action this turn, he can roll another DC14 CON save to see if he’s able to kick the effects of the poison.
Vernon CON save: 15 + 2 = 17.
Siobhan CON save 5
Siobhan also gets caught in the thick of the toxic spore cloud. She takes 9 damage and is poisoned.
Everyone can take their actions, and Belkas and Siobhan can roll DC14 con saves at the end of their turns.
Vernon will drop his warhammer, doff his shield, and pull out his lance, anticipating another dive by the fiend.
If it does give him an opportunity attack:
Lance Attack: 3 + 5 = 8. If still at advantage: 11 + 5 = 16. Damage: 1 + 2 = 3 piercing, plus 1st-level Smite for 6 + 8 + 7 = 21 radiant.
Belkas coughs as the poison fills his lungs. He uses the little air he can gasp in to cast two Eldritch Blasts at the creature. He coughs more until he throws up and manages to get most of the poison out of his system, although he feels miserable afterward.
