Eve watches Maudath tying up the sleeping cultist, and smiles and rolls her eyes. She does some quick spell-maths in her head and concludes that the spell will still hold whether he’s tied up or not… She shrugs and let’s it slide. If there’s anything she’s learned about Maudath over the years, it’s that you have to let him tie up a sleeping cultist every once in a while…

As she gets her breath back, the colour comes back into her cheeks, and her eyes seem to take on an even blacker shine than usual! “Okay, I’m ready!.. Whoa! In fact, I feel a little super charged if you ask me!.. Okay!  uh huh, let’s get to it!…”. She nods and rubs her hands together, ready. 

((We trying to get word to the town guard?))

((Oh yes!))

”Oh, and Ipkiss, can you take a note to the town guard? Get them to act when we give ‘the signal’?…”, asks Eve.

”You got it! Get a note written, and where to find the right person to deliver it… and I’m there!”, replies Ipkiss.

With a suitable letter written, Eve let’s the invisible Ipkiss out the window to deliver it.

((Maybe we could have done that near the start of the short rest and he might be back before we strike?))

Ryhunis barges through the door
"I'm done! Small brain now watches over the door! How dare absolutely NO ONE called me and left me there? Alone, and crying and" Ryhunis gives a small smack on the head of Maudath
"I just have a feeling you said something about me that I didn't liked so yeah, here's that" she pauses "and suffering and defenseless! Shame on you all! Well anyone wants to give me a resume of what was said here?"
She looks at the new person
"Hi, I'm Ryhunis, queen, empress bla bla bla doesn't matter"



((I will make ryhunis not have listened to what eve said it's funnier this way and now i think i might not be taking the serious as I should, I promisse I'm loving this campaign and taking it seriusly))

"Perhaps if your crying was not so loud and performative, you could have heard us calling you! And Maudath, please do not smack her back, we have more important things to focus on than Ryhunis' attempts to romance you. Speaker, this is Ryhunis... an automaton I have been working on for some time. She is quite... free willed. Ryhunis, this is the Speaker. Perfectly healthy, but confined to quarters by the cultists. We mean to put an end to that, so you will soon have somewhere else to direct your energies besides demeaning Maudath and myself. The Speaker has confirmed that nothing is off the table as far as ends you can go to in order to re-establish his position here, though I do think he would prefer minimal damage to his keep."

"I think there's no time like now to get this over with," Maudath says, completely ignoring Ryhunis. "Kadroth's office was downstairs off the main room, right? If we just head down like we're meant to be where we are and walk on in and deal with him the rest won't have a chance to react."

((Assuming Eve gets a short rest, she’s up for that plan: head street to boss and take them out of the equation)).

(You can all take a short rest) You tie up the cultist on the bed quite nicely, without waking him even! The speaker gives you the name of the leader of the town militia.

"I may have been able to fight in my younger days but that is far behind me now." the town speaker says then jumps back as this large golem bursts thru the door and begins to attack one of his "saviors". After the professors explanation "Intresting, its far to independent for my liking and you might want to work on its aggression. Seems its just as likely to kill you all than fight for you." 

"I am incredibly well behaved, just don't tolerate certain situations, and forgetting such words, why don't you invite every cultist you have in town and i don't know... poison them? Blow up the place? Something to quickly get rid of them! And if you are worried about they turning against you, let me say we are more powerfull then we look, heck recently I even created a super secret tecnique that can end lives in one simple attack! eh eh eh" Ryhunis says proudfully

Maudath rolls his eyes as Ryhunis speaks.

He then quickly checks his greatsword on his back and the two short swords that hang at his waist and nods at the others.

"Downstairs then?" Maudath says. "And straight into Kadroth's office without knocking?"

"If we want to take a bit right before heading down, I can adjust my goggles to where I should be able to detect anything magical that Kadroth may be protected by... Speaker, have you noticed him casting spells, or using any magical devices?"

((I don't think that the Professor had a need of the short rest, so whenever we are about to head down, he'll start tinkering on his goggles to cast Detect Magic and be keeping concentration on it for ten minutes as we descend.))

"I haven't had much interaction with him other when he needed my official signature for something he wanted. He's a confident bastard tho so be careful." 

Maudath nods and bobs his head for a second. He slaps his own shoulders a couple of times and smiles broadly.

If the others are ready, Maudath will step out of the room, go down the stairs and straight in to Kadroth’s room without stopping.

Eve is hot on his tail! ((Ipkiss too, if he’s back from delivering a message to the townsfolk)).

“Let’s do this!…”.

The Professor follows suit, after making sure Ryhunis knows that they are going, so she can't complain about being left behind by small brain, small body and whatever name she has for Eve.

(Bump - Were they able to just walk in? Anyone inside?)

You are all able to walk across the keep toward the office you talked with Kadroth in. 

You enter the outer room and standing near the door, looking anxious, is a cultist. You remember seeing him standing in this room last time you came thru here. "Yes can I help you all? Kadroth is not seeing anyone at the moment"

"He's seeing us," Maudath says and pushes past the cultist and if not stopped goes through the inner door, then adds over his shoulder. "And you best keep that yap shut if you know what's good for you."

"NO, wait...." 

Id like you to make a strength check with advantage for me to see if he is able to to try to keep you out. (cause he was surprised by your brashness)
