Byg’wigg whistles nonchalantly as he slides the vial into his pack.

"I'm going to sit here a while if that's alright with all of you." Lari sits and starts tending to his wounds. When he is done he will study his spell book and  use arcane recovery to restore a spell slot.

(OOC: Short 1 hour rest? My mage armor will still be good for 7ish hours. I will also use HD to heal if everyone agrees to the rest.)

While the group rests, Scamp, a magical creation who needs no rest, will thoroughly search the redead undead for anything shiney. If he doesn't find anything interesting to carry off, he will settle for gnawing on a big toe bone.

Ivellios stand guard will agree to the short rest "Very well, if it will help you regain some strength then let us rest."  As they rest Ivellios will ask Lari "So was the scroll magical?"

Lari hands him the scroll. "Doesn't seem to be. I'm still working on spells to help me detect and identify magic, so I can't say for sure until I figure them out. I think a good quality pearl will do the trick. You see I can use it to... nevermind. Anyway the scroll mentions this." He holds up the magnifying glass for him to see. "I think it let me see a bear earlier. Here. Hold it up over your head." He hands him the magnifying glass too.

“Eh, if yous seeing things, then yous might’ve smelled more sands than Byg’wigg thought...”

Ivellios reads the scroll it's passage reminding him of his wife. He will take the magnifying glass and place it where Lari tells him to. "Bears huh..."

Ivellios your vision is purple tinged and hazy as you place the magnifying glass on your head, but you don't see the bear Lari was talking about. 

“Let Byg’wigg see. Byg’wigg have experience with Sky Animals. Maybe this one tell Byg’wigg new thing.”

Byg'wigg you don't see a bear either, but that purple tinge is really pretty.

“Byg’wigg be needing new monocle... this do.”

Lari objects. "You got the bottles. I should have the magnifying glass. It's obviously magical and let's the user see things that are hidden. Since I act as point for the group and search for traps, I should be the one to see the hidden things." He reaches his hand out for Byg'wigg to give him the item.

Byg’wigg hands it to him grumpily, “Is Christmas bonuses.”

So you guys are all seeing purple, huh? I'll pass. For now, at least. So...are we done resting? Shall we carry on?

"Let's go." Lari pulls up his hood and melts into the shadows. Stealth 10. He raises the glass, looking for the bear as he heads in the direction it went.

Byg’wigg allows him to travel on and will hang back with the non-squishies from a safe distance.

You all move on to the next room following Lari into the next room. As you approach the doorway you hear what sounds like rainfall. Its very faint but there. Passing into the next room you come to stand on a large ledge overlooking a ravine. On the ledge with you are four stone posts, each ornately craved with several runes. The rain sound you heard earlier is revealed to be to large water falls on each side of the ravine, one made of blue sand and the other, gold. The light coming off the falls leaves the room so bright there's barely any shadow to hide in. About 40ft across from you all is another ledge and a very fancy wooden door.

Lari: With the magnifying glass pressed against your eye you see the small bear again. It sits mid-air next to the golden waterfall watching as the sand falls. It reaches out its paw to touch the sand and several small shapes begin to take form. The sand swirls into beautiful golden butterflies and small patterns that fill the air around the creature. The bear sits there clapping, overjoyed with its find.
