"Shall we continue and check out that door?" Vaden asks. "I'd hate to have left here without at least checking it out." He starts in that direction, but pauses as he looks to see if the other two are willing to follow.

“Yes, let’s check it.  Kralog- you do the honors?”  She holds her staff at the ready, clearly uncomfortable with no magic.

“Who’s got thieves tools?” Evre asks

"Pretty likely none of us." Vaden says with a frown. "We've been breaking doors open up to now. He nods to the ancient-looking one ahead of them. "I suggest we do the same here..."

Joroden looks at the ancient door with wide eyes, terrified.

"Di-Did you all just hear that? You heard it, right??"

"Break it down." Vaden incourages as he steps back from the door, looking to his companions.

"What is this? I thought it was some kind of tomb... but how would it be normal in any aspect?"

“Agreed… I’ll step back here.  Me whacking at it would do nothing!”  Evre smiles, holding up her staff.

Joroden looks down in horror at the door

"I-I don't think we should be breaking into there!"

"Want to send your owl in?" Vaden asks Evre as he eyes the door askance. "Wish I could cast detect magic, but..." He shrugs.

“Yes. Good idea.    Books!  This looks promising for what we came for.   The anti magic is worrisome. ”. Evre’s owl flies into the room, and scans for anything of obvious danger.  

With a frown Vaden moves into the chamber, pausing to see if anything bad happens. If nothing does he moves to the desk and begins to search through it.

Investigation: 21 passive is 16.

(The owl’s name is quill).  Evre will also cautiously enter the room, and proceed to the closest bookcase, looking for spellbooks or books on arcane lore..

Vaden goes to the large desk first.
