Horxik replies happily to Duncan's small talk although he is so sarcastic and joking when talking about his life that it is hard to tell what is real and what is simply a tall tale. Horxik tells a tale of his family and how he grew up relatively ordinary. He talks about a middle-class existence until a large black, or green, or blue, dragon came and destroyed their entire village. The dragon killed everyone in the village except for him. Even his parents were turned to acid. The half-elf then laughs and shakes his head, "I'm just kidding..." He tells about how his parents were spared as well and how his entire family was drafted into the dragon's service until the dragon eventually sent him out into the world to plunder and destroy cities. That's why he had to adventure and gain power. Horxik lets out another laugh, "Just kidding of course..." He explains how he escaped from under the dragon's clutches and rescued a princess that he was keeping hostage. Detailing in vivid words, he spins a tale about how he and the princess returned to her kingdom so that they could get married and then live happily ever after. He finishes with a flourish of his hand and looks satisfied at Duncan. He gives no further explanation as to how he went from a prince-to-be to an adventurer if that was even the truth. Giving a nod, he turns to Kiya and asks excitedly, "What about you! Do you have any stories?"
Deception: 25 (OOC: Anyone that beats his Deception Check can tell that pretty much everything he said was BS. Although even if the Deception Check is really high, there are probably still some things that would give cause for a listener to doubt whether or not it is the truth.)

“The mark of a successful DM is when you have caused more player deaths with doors than dragons, demons, or devils.”
Evre, you can tell this is an illusion of an hill. When you inspect it though, it does not fade like you would expect of spells of this nature. Those outside see a hill. Those inside see empty space. Upon further comparison you realize the false hill is a mirror image of the other hill, same size and everything, just reflected right to left.
Against the base and set into the mountainside is the sealed entrance to the Crypt of the Diamondew Clan.

20 Investigaton on door with help.
Evre gathers the group together and says- we need to determine who has the skills to find and disarm traps- can you have a look at the door?
She ritual casts detect magic over a few minutes, while the others get ready. She then carefully studies the door, and asks others to help her- careful not to touch it just yet...
