“Oh we hear, now step away from your weapons and move towards the Goliath coming for you. He’ll make sure to keep you company, “ says Brock seeing that the battle was over.
“Good work out there didn’t get much time to react before you folks wiped the floor. Good to know that you lot can pack a punch,” he says, his Dwarven gait sends him rolling towards what is left of the band. He begins picking up weapons and other things he finds on the bodies into his bag of holding
Yashin lumbers forward, slightly out of breath and looking the worse for wear. “Gods” he curses ”you all struck them down before I could even join” He glances at Brock “Next time, I will stick closer and you can go first”. He was glad to see his new companions were more than capable during the fight, but his pride was wounded as he lacked the mobility and range of the others. He was foolish and did not factor in this fight.
“At least you left me him” he grabs the Thug by the shirt collar and hoists him up. “What should we do with this one? I can send lightning through him, he would make a fitting sacrifice to the Storm Lord”
Hearing this Valor speaks up. "Sacrifices usually can not provide us with any information. I suggest we ask questions to get information about their masters."

When Senna arrives still riding her horse she nods to Valor, I agree.
She dismounts Argento and pats him on the shoulder softly as she walks away towards the thug as Yashin is still holding him up.
Tell us what you know about your masters. And what they know of us. If you do so to our pleasing we will let you walk away. You pose no treat to us as you just witnessed.
She starts to look around the battlefield then stops to look back at the thug Oh and you might want to hurry with those answers. I assure you few here would offer you a similar trade.
Kerah ignores the captive and walks towards the pile of snow. He's satisfied by all the sacrifices to Auril he just made. Some survived, but quite a few turned into ice statues. Even this far south, he hopes she would be pleased. The snow pile, though, that used to be a wizard, interests him. Could that wizard be a follower of Auril as well? "How curious this magic is. Instead of dying, he turned into a pile of snow." He tries to contribute his own knowledge to that of the wizard crouching next to him, trying to [action]Help[/help] Aio determine what kind of magic was used here. After he shared what he thought was relevant, he asks the wizard: "Well, does anything come to mind?"

"It was no wizard, but a Simulacrum" declares Aio. "There is a much more powerful version out there somewhere." The elf pokes at the pile of ice and snow to see if there are any magic items, acane foci or reagents, etc. left behind.
If not busy talking to the others or looking at anything interesting found on the false wizard, Aio would begin to ritually cast Detect Magic to see if any magic items, arcane traps, auras, etc. were left behind near the battle, the elf walking around once the spell is active to inspect the area.
Ssej grins at the mention of a more powerful wizard he can take down. "Get what info you need out of thiss meat ssack. If he hass nothing usseful to say, I can take care of him." Hisses Ssej standing behind the prisoner.
The zhent thug glances to all of you as she is held a foot off of the ground by the goliath. "You think they tell the likes of me anything of worth?" She barks out with a rueful laugh. "I am a Zhent agent, more one of their toughs than a true agent." She nods to the pile of snow. "That was our master's clone, that took care of daily business and was likely the only one who knew why we were out here, let alone why we were set to ambush the lot of you."
She meets your eyes as she speaks and there is little doubt she is being honest with what she knows. "All I can tell you is that we were all sitting around in our tower in Waterdeep, when we were told we had to come out here and take care of a group of do-gooders riding hard to the South. We were given basic descriptions of the lot of you, but that was all. We were to earn a hefty reward for taking you lot out though, so I'd be watching your backs, someone wants you dealt with oftly bad."
Hearing the words from the prisoner, Ssej will move to each of the remaining dead bodies and take a couple of cloaks from the dead and lay them on the ground. Then he will remove the heads of the dead and pile them up on the cloaks and wrap them up tightly and place them in his Bag of Holding.
"Hard to get ansswerss from the dead if they have no head." He explains and then points to the prisoner, "Thiss one sshould alsso be dealt with accordingly, otherwisse we will ssee it again."
"That was only a copy of our master." The Zhent thug says as she glances to the fast-melting pile of snow and ice. "Our master is Manshoon himself, leader and rightful lord of all Zhentarim." She puts both of her hands on the thick forearm holding her off the ground. "Now let me go." She says, meeting the Goliath's eyes. She then looks to the others around. "Or do you now kill helpless people, who have surrendered to you already?" A smirk twists up the side of her mouth, obviously feeling she knows how this will play out already.
Holding a crossbow Brock says, "I am a person who likes following laws, but the minute you set out to kill us you have forfeit your rights as a person. Dwarves deal with this matters swiftly and silently, By all rights, you should be dead. But I am a being who doesn't judge to harshly why don't we drop her off at the next town letting them know she has in a band of thugs trying to kill travelers on the road. Villages life bloods are trade the look very harshly on those who attack folks on the road"
Ssej pulls out his dagger and walks up behind the prisoner and then pauses a moment, dagger at his throat, then raises his head and looks at the rest of the group. "Objections, I don't leave enemies behind me."
Manshoon.. Senna says to herself. Ofcourse Zhentarim is part of this.
She pauzes a moment as Brock speaks to the thug
Senna looks to Yashin Let her go, i gave my word. She is just a footsoldier and has seen she is no match for us. She would only slow us down.
Turning to look at the thug Leave your weapons here and be gone.
Senna will wait to see her leave before turning to group since she cant see Aio but assumes hes in range to hear her. Aio can you have your owl follow her. Perhaps they have a camp nearby.
They knew we were coming here and what we looked like. The Zhentarim must have a spy at Waterdeep that is close to Laerel. We should inform them when we have the chance.
Aio nods to Senna and makes sure his horse has not run off before summoning his owl. "Artemis, follow that one over there and return to me once their next destination is known to you."
Yashin dumps the thug unceremoniously on the ground, then watches as Ssej, with an unsettling grin, whispers something into the Thug's ear. Yashin is tempted to send a bolt of lightning after them as they leave, but instead watches the owl follow with interest.
"What reason does the Zhentarim have to delay our cause? Do you think they are aligned with those other beings - how could they be?"
"Hmm looking at one of these shields they had black hand believers amongst them to. What does that Bastard of a god get for stopping us," asks Brock picking up the loot from the battle field.

Valor
Valor will move to stand behind and to the right of Senna, waiting for a response from the prisoner.
You would suspect it was a construct created with the simulacrum

Ssej pauses as the dagger pushes a bit deeper in the mans neck and then withdraws a slow grin spreading as he hears the words from Senna.
Then he leans back in to whisper into the mans ear, "I ssee you again, my teeth will be the lasst thing you ssee before I bite your face off."
