Durnham'sball of flame engulfs the mephit, evaporating the last vestiges of its frost breath and melting the creature away in a roaring scream. Just as the scream cuts out, the creature explodes in a shower of rapidly melting icicles. With nobody in range of the burst, the debris drops to the snow and leaves deep holes where it lands.
Ressysthrows his own arcane fire and finishes off a badly wounded mephit that was still reeling from Kotar's shove. The creature explodes and showers its companion (mephit four) with shrapnel. It shrugs off the damage and retains focus on Qidira and Brandon.
Orvorecovers from the frigid blast from the now-deceased mephit and fires his bow at mephit two, hovering north of Kotar. The first arrow flies height but the second lands dead centre, wounding it badly.

Qidira judges the situation quickly, to move away could provoke an attack from the creature, so she makes her move knowing that if she does the damage intended the creature will explode. She invades its space with both her shortsword and the Aeorian Dagger attempting to position her small form between it and Brandon to shield him from the pending blast, extra layers of clothing adding to her bulk. (Attacking Mephit 4)
Shortsword Attack: 10 Damage: 5
Aeorian Dagger Attack: 25 Damage: 3
Sneak Attack (Brandon within 5') 5
Bonus Cold damage from last round (d6 was rolled for a 3) but they are likely immune to this.
@DM unsure what help Qidira can actually offer against the blast, perhaps advantage on the save or none at all but she had to try. If she can choose to not dodge the blast to block Brandon, she will do so.
Qidiralaunches her small form into the mephit. Stabbing and slashing as she goes. The small creature, already badly injured, explodes with a scream and shorts ice shards all around.
(Qidira automatically fails the DEX save in order to give Brandon an automatic success)
Qidiratakes 2 slashing damage from the shards, Brandontakes half that amount.
The last mephit, seeing that it is now alone, lifts its shoulders and then exhales a powerful blast of icy cold air, enveloping Kotar, Brandonand Qidira.
(All three make a DC10 DEX save, taking 5 cold damage on a fail or half that on a success)
(Kotar’s turn – the last mephit is 5ft north of you)

“No!”Brandon shouts as Qidira launches herself in front of him to protect him from the dying mephits explosion of ice, his mind automatically going back to darker days and other sacrifices. He sees she takes the brunt of the damage even as he feels some of the ice shards pull away the false shadows protecting him. Before he can see if she is okay, he is forced to try to avoid the icy breath of the last remaining mephit. Dex Save: 6.
Unable to avoid the blast, his skin numbs as his last shreds of false life are pulled away from him.
Qidira pops up, dusting herself off from the ice explosion and looks quickly back at Brandon to see what alarmed him so. Then realizing that it appeared to be her she rethinks her action. Was it her attempt to shield him that offended him or the concern that she wouldn't be able to take the blast? Touched by the potential concern, she reminds herself that in case it's the former that he's a capable one in his own right and might not take kindly to being 'protected'.
She looks around to see Kotar facing another Mephit sheaths her swordsword and dagger in favor of her crossbow positioning herself for a ranged attack.
Had he been a moment slow the mephit would have evaded the bashing of his shield. Now they can attack it without worrying with the blast. The goliath think satisfied with himself until he sees Brandon making his own attempt of shoving one of the small elementals. Less successful, unfortunately.
Not knowing how to react, Kotar raises both his thumbs in the human’s direction. Not that it was visible. He had a sword in a hand and a shield in the other, so neither of his hands were really visible to the warlock. The battle continued as Qidira finished one of the icy creatures. It promptly exploded and the gnome tried to jump in to protect the Hexblade.
Out of reflex, the fighter move his shield in front of his face, blocking most of the hail. A single piece of ice reach his face, causing a single cut. One that he could easily heal from.
“Brandon! Qidira!”He shouts worried, knowing they don’t enjoy resistance to cold. I have to control my emotions, he notices, resisting the urge to run to them. “I will try to shove this away. Focus on showering him with ranged attacks!”
And so he moves to the last mephit, trying to push it with this shield.
Notes: Kotar uses the shove against Mephit , trying to push the creature further north and as far away of the party as possible.

Brandon watches Kotar as the big goliath pushes the mephit in front of him backwards. Heeding his instructions, he steps toward his left to get a clear line of sight and buries the point of his longsword in the snow. Dark shadows and green swirls of energy gather in his hand as he releases an Eldritch Blast at the last remaining creature.

Qidira sees Kotar look in their direction, waving his shield briefly as if to signal something but can't tell what he's trying to say to Brandon nearer to her. Then he shouts his instruction and moves to shove the mephit. "Yes! Ranged! Got it!" She plants her feet solidly and aims carefully with her crossbow. "Last one! We've got this!"
Crossbow attack Attack: 6 Damage: 10
Sneak attack damage if Kotar happens to be close enough at time of attack - likely not. 5 (this also applies show anything bird-like wish to add a distraction to help her get an advantage on the attack)
Durnham watches Kotar try to shove the mephit... and it resists his push. He grumbles under his breath but levels his staff at the mephit anyway using the arcane word “Flambé!” A small ball of fire shoots at the mephit.
Durnham's fire bolt smashes into the mephit and melts half of its face away. Before the creature can recover, Ressys sends his own ball of flame arcing over and immolates the creature, causing it to explode in a shower of ice spikes.
(Kotar make a DC10 DEX save please, 8 slashing damage on a fail or half on a success)
Orvo slumps to his knees in relief as the last mephit explodes, hands dropping into the snow by his sides.
"That...that went as well as it could, I think. Everyone OK?"
His attempt to shove the second mephit was frustrated by the agility of the creature. Small and nimble, the elemental managed to avoid his shield. Unfortunately to it, it failed to do the same against the mote of fire that Kotar knew from earlier battles. Durnham stroke the icy creature, killing it immediately. As a parting gift, the damned thing exploded, suddenly and with violence. Kotar had no time to put up his guard and felt the sharp pieces of ice cutting through his flesh.
The pain was immediate, and he knew it was time to metaphorically heal his wounds. With a deep breath he draws on a well of stamina and accelerates the healing of his body. Just like that the entire damage sustained on the fight disappeared. Orvo voice cut through the snow, asking if everyone was fine.
“We were hit from a few blasts.” He says loud enough for everyone to hear, moving closer to Brandon and Qidira. The goliath was especially worried about the gnome, after all she was more lightly armed than either him or the other man. “I have recuperated from the damage already.” He continued while sheathing his sword and extending his hand to the rogue. “How are you guys feeling?” He asked apprehensive.

Also, if I may please use Reaction of absorb elements on the last cold damage
Qidira does not manage to avoid the blast of cold, but sheaths herself in a magical field which absorbs half the force of the attack.

Kotar tries to shove the mephit out of explosion range but the creature jinks away and dodges the attack.
Brandon’s arcane bolt flies past Kotar’s shoulder and into the sky, missing the target.
(Durnham’s turn, I have Qidira’s and Ressys’)
