Ressys grimaced at the last words of Durnham, the safe route indeed. Undead were an abomination, a break in the natural order of life and death, there should be no inbetween state. He hurls a ball of flame at the closest creature.
Ressyshurls his summoned flame at the nearest undead – it strikes the creature square in the chest, melting flesh and burning away a section of the robes there.
Qidirabraces against the south wall and aims around Kotar. The conditions do not make for the clearest of shots, but the target is slow and her bolt strikes it in the thigh. The wound does not bleed, despite the feathered shaft protruding from it.

Durnham grunts “Well, I’d rather face these monstrosities than a disease we just breathe in on accident.” He then points his staff towards the creature that appears most damaged from his friend’s attacks and unleashed a fire bolt.

Hatred blazing in his eyes, Brandon strides forward his full movement to close with the lead undead and brings his longsword around in a wide arc, slashing down and across the creature's chest, still burning from Ressys’ spell.
Durnham’sfire bolt smashes into the head of the nearest undead, melting skin from its face and setting its hair alight; the creature remains standing and intent on reaching you.
Brandondashes up to the same creature and slashes at it, raking his blade down its chest. Flesh and bone part easily before the deadly blade and the creature falls silent at his feet.
He was glancing a last time in the direction the group came from when Brandon hisses against the creatures. It seemed to be an expression of fury or disgust, but to the fighter it served as a warning. Kotar immediately turned toward the new enemies, while his friends made their own movements. The warlock managed to bring the closest one down and two remained standing.
Without thinking twice, the goliath drops the silvered maul, its fall echoing through the corridor, heavy and almost threatening. He then advanced as fast as he could. Five, ten, twenty, thirty feet. The reanimated corpse just on the reach of his weapon, he took out the glaive.
“Time to test you.” Kotar spoke wielding the polearm in a diagonal arching move falling from his left side. The goliath poured all his strength on it, seeking a vicious strike, as damaging as he could managed. As strong as it could be. As strong as he could make it to be. Going by Brandon’s offensive, slashing attacks should be effective. Maybe enough to turn the reaming two into one. He would like that. Especially because the other likely option would have the two corpses attacking him. Let us see, he said with the voice of his mind.
Notes: Kotar drops the maul, moves 30ft closer to Undead 2 and takes the attack action (getting the weapon in hands as part of it). As the glaive has a reach of 10ft it should be possible to wield it in the corridor and it would reach the undead provided I manage to hit.
Qidira watches a Kotar rushes ahead at the second undead in the corridor raising the Silvered Maul with incredible strength as he moves past Brandon's position hoping he's close enough when it comes down to hit his target. She raises her crossbow once again watching for one of the undead to moving with 5' of her companions and fires.
Crossbow bolt Attack: 18 Damage: 8
Sneak attack if within 5' of party mate 4
Note - not readying an action to wait for the 5' range, but may alter her target if the requirements are met by the other instead.
Kotarrushes the second undead creature, the goliath’s speed belying his size. His maul is still clattering on the floor as his glaive arcs through the air, slicing a deep gash diagonally across the undead’s torso. It sags slightly but doesn’t fall, reaching its arms out to the fighter before it.
Both undeadlurch towards Kotar, their nearest opponent, and batter him with their fists:
Ressys grinned as the first of the undead fell. He then caused another flickering flame to appear in his hand and moving forward enough to get within 30 feet of the next closest undead he then throws the flame at it.
Durnham, seeing that these undead are slow and clumbsy things with short range, sends Archimedes into the face of one flapping and distracting it (Help action) before flapping Away (flyby) back towards the group using all of its 60 ft.
Help action should give advantage to the next attack vs that creature. I forgot to roll initiative for Archimedes so not sure where he would fall in line.
Ressyshurls his fire bolt at the northernmost zombie and scores an absolute beauty of a shot; the flame engulfs the creature's chest, setting it alight like a candle.
Qidirafires her crossbow at the southern undead, a fine shot which pierces the creature's heart. A kill shot on any living creature, in this case the monster remains standing and intent on opening Brandon's head.
Archimedesswoops around the face of one of the undead, waiting to see what the dwarf wizard wants to do.
(Durnham;s turn, I'll add Archimedes to your initiative for the rest of this battle)

Durnham waits for Archimedes to fly out of the way and then swings his staff towards the creature. “Nice job Archimedes!” The head of the staff glows a soft red and he shouts “flambé!” A small ball of fire shoots towards the creature.

Brandon lets a small smile of satisfaction cross his face as the first undead creature falls under his blade. He has little time to rejoice before the other two move to strike at Kotar. Bradon quickly moves forward, closing the distance between them and standing shoulder to shoulder with the goliath in the narrow hallway. His blade is wreathed in green flame as he brandishes his sword and slices across the undead creature’s chest, still smoking from Ressys’ fire bolt.
Attack: 23 Damage: 4 on a hit, flames spread to the other undead causing 3 fire damage.
Durnham’sfire bolt sears through the undead creature’s neck, severing the head form the body. Both parts of the body fall to the ground with a thud, the salsvault occupant resting at last.
Brandonmoves up next to Kotar and swings at the last undead, his blade sheathed in green magical energy. He slices the monster across its belly and spills entrails onto the floor, badly wounding it but not quite putting it down.

The glaive cut deep into the flesh of the closest undead, he could feel as much through his attack, but it was still not enough to fell the animated corpse. Rather, the creature advanced with its claw, managing to strike between the openings of the splint armor. The goliath could have negated the damage by tensing his muscles, but before he did the thought of the armored guardians crossed his mind. It was better to keep his strength for later, and so he let the claws sink. Blood ran through his cloth, and he knew he was hurt. There was no pain, though. Too much adrenaline rushed through his veins for that.
The other undead approaches with a swing of his own. This time the attack is nullified by the steel. Now, which to fell? Kotar thinks confidently, before a volley of attacks from his companions bring one of the enemies to the floor. Well, this makes choosing easier. He said with the voice of his mind, raising his weapon once again. With the full weight of his arms, the fighter brings the polearm down, hoping a combination of the momentum of his strike and the accumulated damage from his friends’ offensive could bring the battle to a close. This battle.

Ressys continued to move down the hallway to get into range. Another flickering flame appears in his hand as he does so. Once he's in range he throws the flame at the remaining undead
Ressys' fire bolt lands in the last creature's chest and immolates it; the undead stumbles once and then falls to the floor at Brandon's feet, aflame.
The corridor ahead is now clear of danger, the three corpses lie in smouldering heaps as Orvo pokes his head into the corridor from the last room and says "Didn't meet those last time; I hope there aren't any more"with an ashen face.
You check around the corner of the corridor and see that there are seven doors in addition to the one you entered through (I have numbered them for convenience):
