Brandon crowds into the small patch of dry land next to the collapsed wall, grateful of making it across the shelves safely and already eyeing the wall for a clear path to climb. He flexes his hands, working out the cramps from gripping onto the shelves tightly and turns to help Ressys across the obstacle as best he can.
Ressys follows in the path of his friends, mindful of the areas where they have slipped, but stands on a loose pile of books which gives way. The firbolg starts to fall backward, arms windmilling, and Brandon reaches out to help but it's too late. Ressys falls into the freezing water with a loud SPLASH.
He senses tentacles moving under the surface, but their owner is distracted and he is able to scramble out of the water. Joining his colleagues on the bank and dripping wet, the druid immediately starts to ice up.
Hauling himself quickly out of the water Ressy new that the cold would be dangerous. He started to shake out his clothing so throw off as much water as possible.
Brandon pulls out the blanket from his pack and hurries to wrap it around Ressys, attempting to help him dry off. “We need to get him dry before he freezes. Do any of you have anything to help? Should we build a fire? Maybe we can crawl over the wall and build one in the next room?”
Durnham is lost in his exploration of the books and scrolls, oblivious of Winterwalker’s fall into the water. “So much lost knowledge… so much we might have learned…” he murmurs to himself as he searches for anything he might be able to pull a scrap of lost information from.
Ressys manages to shrug and rub off the worst of the water, his natural resistance allowing him to avoid any serious effect from his drop into the freezing cold water. He shivers but is otherwise OK.
Durnham looks around the scattered books. Lamentably they all seem ruined by water, the air or age. Maybe if the whole library could be moved to a sealed area and the books meticulously treated, some glints of the ancient society's knowledge might be saved.
The route ahead is easier now; jump for the collapsed wall to the west and vault inside (no check needed, just post when ready)
Kotar could not remember the last time he had as much trouble climbing. Granted, he was used to climb mountains, grabbing at stone and ice, not bookshelves millennia old and a loose part of it came loose he almost think as if he was going to fall. Out of instinct he forgot the fact that they had an agreement with whatever lied in the water and the cold was unlikely to hurt him. Out of instinct he thought a fall would mean danger and battle. Fortunately, the goliath recovered his balance and made the way to the other side. Unfortunately, Ressys didn’t have as much luck.
Brandon is the first to react and confident that the warlock would save the druid, the fighter start to gather torches from his backpack. He had more than necessary and broke down enough they could fuel some fire. By then he remembered their talk from before, about burning the dead bodies found on the dungeon, about smoke.
“Should I start a fire?” He asked to Brandon and Ressys. The druid simply shrug off the cold and Kotar put the torches back on his bag. “Durnham, ccould you have Archimedes scout ahead again? Depending on what await it may be better if I take the front.”
Shaking the last of the water that he could from his cloak Ressys flaps his ears as he speaks. "I am no worse for wear and bit cleaner than normal I suppose. But I don't wish to do that again. That was mighty cold water."
Gathering himself together he nods to the others.
"I am ready to continue on. Over this wall then?" he says indicating ahead. When it is his turn he climbs over the wall.
Qidira rests up with Orvo at the entrance, "I need to join my friends, I'm not doing any good here. I think I'm ok now. I'm going to find them. Will you join me or prefer to stay here?"
Catching up by following the path of dead, dead things....
"Hold up guys! I'm coming too!" Qidira speaks up from the opposite bank. "How'd you get across this?"
@DM permit me a cure wounds or would a two HD short rest be ok?

Brandon puts his blanket back in his pack, thankful the large druid is none the worse for wear after his brief dip in the icy water. His face breaks out in a smile as he hears Qidira call out from across the room. “Qidira! Glad to see that you are feeling better! Just climb across the shelves, grabbing here and here,, but watch out for loose spots.” he tries to help her cross the shelves.
The small area is getting crowded, so Brandon vaults across the crumbling wall into the hallway, but before crossing to the other wall, he looks north, trying to see what lies in that direction. Perception: 23.

Trusting Brandon's judgement, she immediately reaches for shelves with his help and searches for safe grips and ledges among the shelves glancing at their contents occasionally as she goes.

Durnham distractedly responds to Brandon’s request. “Yes… scouting ahead… sure…” With a sigh he turns away from the shelves of ruined books. His senses slip into Archimedes who flies through the west side of the library and looks through the hallway.
A short rest would be fair for the relative wait. Orvo decides to stay and watch the entrance, in case animated armour suits approach from the west.
Brandon looks north and sees nothing but a stone wall; the exterior of the Salsvault. He estimates that the vault is in an n-shape and the party are currently on land between the two 'prongs'.
Qidira catches up with the party and scampers across the bookshelves to join them. Her foot starts to slide off a pile of books at one point but she regains composure and makes it across. Her wounds have healed slightly, colour returning to her face.
Archimedes swoops into the west wing of the salsvault and reports back to Durnham:
This appears to be a laboratory. A cold wind howls through the collapsed east wall of this huge chamber, whose far side (Nearest to the party) is completely submerged under frigid seawater. A dense bed of kelp grows up from the submerged floor, obscuring any sight of what lies below. Broken glass and the remains of shattered tables cover the floor in the dry section of the room. There is a single heavy door in the west wall.
Thank you! Used both HD just in case and rolled 14 then added the +2 per level so am back to full again.
Once Qidira is on dry land, she moves towards the heavy door inspecting it for similar symbols or any evidence of more mundane traps without touching it. 4perception
(hopefully not running into the door in the process...<sigh>)

Seeing nothing in the hallway to the north, Brandon climbs over the crumbling wall and into the room beyond. Boots splashing in the shallow water, Brandon follows Qidira to the door and passes the Aeorian dagger back. “Here, you will make better use of this. I was just holding it for you.” Brandon turns and looks at the destroyed room, looking for any clues that may lead to the antidote and keeping a careful eye on any threats from the water. Perception: 5.
Qidira grins and receives the Aeorian Dagger back. "Thank you, it's a beautiful dagger, feels nice to have it back in my hands. You wouldn't think you'd miss a thing like a dagger."

If that help is allowed here is another D20+2 for the advantage roll
