ROOM #4 of 10, LEVEL 1, ROTTEN HALLS: WONGO'S TOMB
A deep pit opens up at the entrance to this tomb, with a stone sarcophagus resting at the bottom. A snarling monkey-like creature decorates the sarcophagus lid. Wongo. Beyond the pit, three treasure chests sit on stone daises. The chest on the left is carved of black onyx, the middle chest is made of rusty iron, and the chest on the right is cast of silver and glistening with frost.
The pit is 20 feet deep. And each chest is 5 feet long, 3 feet wide, and 3 feet high.
Shariel will climb down the pit with her NangNang power and prepare to open the chest. Once the chests are clear, she will open, grab what's inside, and teleport out.

Yes, you can. You see a gold key in a lock mechanism in the chest. Suddenly, an arcane button appears on the sarcophagus. Shariel, when you open the chest and see the key, you grab it, but it doesn't move from it's mechanism. Now, whichever chest you opened, another arcane button of the same color appears on the sarcophagus.
The blades, punched with holes, cease to function and allow you to pass into the northern room, up ahead.
Clayton will allow the others to advance. He wants to make sure there isn’t an ambush from behind.

Slither turns invisible and enters the tomb. Anything else of interest in here? Perception: 9
With that nat1, even if Clayton was SHOWING it to you, you'd still miss it.
OOC: Lizard blindspots
Clayton will attempt to leap over the pit and land near the chests.

How exactly. This matters.
Well, I was intending to press the button using the mage hand. If I need to press the button myself, then I will.

KABLAMMOO!!!
Because you were at a "safer" distance, and not directly in front of the sarcophagus as you pushed the button, you take 42 force damage.
You have a massive headache. Anyone else want to push one of the buttons?
