Calner casts acid splash, creating a puddle of acid that boulders the last but of flesh from the skeletal remains of the undead snake. The giant snake hisses as the acid sears it, until the great beast js silent and still.
<end if combat>
<At this point I recommend hanging out with with rock guys for a long rest. If Calner is out, we're down to three. He hasn't said so, but it had been four days. These modules are designed for 4 to 7 players. You are about halfway through module 4 of five. Should I try to recruit another player or two?>
Marlyth will wait for Tabaqui and Angus till they return to the material plane while pacing up and down the den and frequently checking out the other opening to the demiplane. Please come back, leave the place. The flow of time gets more peculiar during the night time.
(@Wile_E_Coyote, I'm fine with everything, but I still believe BrianAvery will be able to join us.)
Angus having been revived, will lay hands on himself and exit the demiplane to see the situation. He will express his thanks to those that saved him, and agrees that a long rest with their stony friends to watch out for them is a fantastic idea.
<<I'm going ro give it until Monday before I ask for more participants. Anyone who was already a part of this game is free to rejoin at any time. >>
<Go ahead and take that long rest, just withdraw from the cave and hang out with the rock guys. They'll watch your backs while you rest. Will you go back out the way you came in? It's still open.>
The two in the pocket dimension reemerge after 2 minutes or so.
Tabaqui will lead the way back along their path, past the pile of bones and up through the crevice in the earth, to the temporary safety of the stone creatures.
Marlyth will attempt to harvest the skin of the undead Giant Constrictor Snake using the extracting tool of her Herbalism Kit, then she will leave the place as soon as possible.
"What happens when you coat the surface of your ammunition with poisonous substance, Tabaqui? The assassins of the sepulcher almost killed me with their poisonous ammunition, I wonder if it will be effective for your weapons too."
<I'll have to look into that alchemy system in depth to give the results of this. I'll reply in another channel. I just want to acknowledge the game is moving on, but you will get something out of it. Being terminally set ablaze might make the odds if harvesting meat better than alchemical materials, then again necrotic flesh is probablynot that nutritious. I'll let you know when I figure it out.>
Upon returning to the gakeb duhr trio, the most talkative if the group greets you, "How goes it, travelers? What have you found in your travels? Have you uncovered what you sought?"
Edit: It's not just idle chatter. They could potentially help you based on roleplay. If they don't like you, they just ignore you and still function to open or seal the passage. You have nothing to lose by talking to them.
"Indeed. Something in there must be kept from finding its way into this world. Seems more than one group has tried to ferret out the place, but perhaps you'll fare better than they did." The rock replies.
<Galeb duhr are very patient. They've just been sitting on this hill for the past 5 years.>
Marlyth has been examining the magical trinket 'Amulet of Restoration' with fascination, and describing the magical property of the second 'Chip of Creation' to Angus while suggesting him that he should attune to the second artifact.
The words of the Galeb Duhr draw her attention and she decides that she must learn more information about the place.
"What are you talking about? Is there something else inside the place other than the constrictor snakes and skeletons? Would you like to tell us about the fate of the previous group of adventurers?"
"What? You didn't see the giant? How could you miss him? He's been there for at least 20 years do you think he got up and left? the rock asks aloud to noone in particular.
<Welcome, Wysperra. The group are hanging out with a bunch of rocks on the side of a hill right now. We have 1 more player joining us for a total of 6. That should help with the action economy. You're both welcome to just walk up to the hill and join the group. I doubt they'd turn down an offer if assistance right now. Though they may be suspicious of people showing up at this moment in the harsh desolate high moors just as they are trying to find the artifact. I'll let them decide how to play that. It kind if makes sense more than 1 group would he on the trail of this guy who is threatening to disrupt the balance of power in the multiverse.>
Your group hears a p-tap p-tap of approaching soft footfalls. A bipedal rabbit form just over 3 feet tall rounds the corner and smiles at your party.
"Hello the camp! I knew I would have to go far but these mountain trails are rough! I had a vision that you may be in need of aid? I am Walks with Shadows a follower of Naralis"
The brown furred rabbit girl pauses and cocks an ear at you smiling. Her breastplate looks like it has seen better days, but otherwise her clothing and gear seem in good repair. You can see a great club poking over head.

Marlyth will explain that the party has been fighting unexpected foes most of the time and the members didn't have the opportunity to scout the entire place. Thus, none of them could see if there was a giant inside the place. She will speak to the Galeb Duhrs using Calner as an intermediary if they do not understand her words:
"Two of our friends were investigating the floor of the tall hall, we're interrupted."
When a rabbit suddenly appears and introduces herself to the party, the tiefling woman will silently observe everything.
A weary-looking paladin studies the harengon newcomer for a moment or two and then states simply, "Welcome, Walks with Shadows. I am Angus Killburney of the Knights of Myth Drannor. I ... wasn't expecting to encounter any friendly faces out here on the moor. How come you to be here?"

(I would say yes on the recruitment and the long rest)

(Yeah, we might need more than just 3 PCs)
