"Careful Rohuzar." Aubrey calls out and repositions a bit again to get a clear shot at the ogre, still keeping his distance (50ft), and then he again uses the powers of his talisman to send another golden beam of crackling force towards the ogre.

Kurt: 2
Badly wounded, Cliff withdraws to the ferns to help Gruggalook for Kurt. Blood is dripping from his face. He coughs out to Grugga, "It wields magic? By Vigor's hoarfrosted ghost, what is that thing?"
Kiteborne looks at the glowing particles on the Ogre. 9
Recognizing the spell faerie fire, he forgoes a spell of his own to take advantage of a melee attack on the compromised defenses of the Ogre. He feints deftly and then slashes at the Ogre's flank with his longsword. Attack: 15 Damage: 0 But he uses too much finesse and not enough power. His sword connects but glances off the Ogre's deer hide armor. He looks over at the wounded Rohuzar, "Let us put this abomination down!"

Leelan will use his full move to get closer to the ogre (5 hexes east). He will then release another arrow in its direction, hoping this time to catch its attention.
Attack: 16 Damage: 7
Whether it hits or not, Leelan will then wave his hand and call out to the creature. "Over here, you oversized pea-brained pillock! I’m the one who’s been shooting you this whole time. And it’s ‘Morbo IS strong'. What sort of idiotic addlepate forgets it’s predicat? It’s basic sentence structure!"

Grugga shrugs helplessly at Cliff. "I've never heard of such a thing. Help me find Kurt and I can stabilize him." If he finds Kurt in the ferns, Grugga will cast Spare the Dying by tossing a copper coin over his shoulder and whispering "be elsewhere today, reaper."

Now that he is close enough Guilim will move to get within 10 ft of the ogre so that he is in range of the creature with his glaive. Seeing that he has a chance to hit he will swing down hard towards the prone target.
Glaive: Attack: 18 Damage: 8
As he hits, Guilim calls out to the spirits of his ancestors in the language of the halflings of old. The blade of his weapon glows as he smites the ogre.
Gruggamakes use of borderline vulgar magic but stabilizes Kurt, who coughs twice but then begins breathing normally, though re remains unconscious. Cliff stands guard while trying to catch his own breath.
Meanwhile, on the hill, the Ogre has gone from a towering threat to a bloody heap upon the ground. Leelan'sbroken arrow shafts circle his neck and blood pours from the wound on his face where Rohuzarslashed him. Guilim'smighty chop, powered by the fury of his warrior ancestors sent a shudder through the hulking brute. Aubreyand Kiteborne close to join the circle of pain as they hack, slash and blast the Ogre. It pushes itself up onto one knee, and calls out in Giant:
"Zethor! Lend me strength! Morbo needs more power!"
It raises the stone disc as if to prepare a spell, blood running down its arm... but then it collapses forward, twitches three times, and falls still.
(We are out of initiative, and everyone is up and alert, but for Kurt who will be waking up in one hour unless healing is applied. Nice Work!)

Guilim moves closer and uses Morbo's clothing to wipe the blood from his glaive before replacing it on his back. To be safe though he will drae his dagger and make his way to the neck of the corpse, stabbing into it several times before cleaning the blade and looking to the others. "Bring your friend over here if we are not taking time to rest."

Grugga leaves Kurt in Cliff's capable hands and walks up to the ogre. "Fascinating..." he says, "I've never heard of such a thing. He pries the ogre's sausage fingers off the stone disk and takes a look."
Cliff carries Kurt up to the hill and sets him down, then collapses next to him, breathing heavily. Kiteborne looks to render aid, but Cliff waves him off. The bard then turns to the five of you. "Damn fine job. I'm not sure I've ever seen something like this... not sure I've heard of something like this...".
Grugga pries open the Ogre's hand and lifts up the stone disc. It is just under two feet in diameter, about the size of the Ogre's palm. It seems to be something the Ogre was using as a foci to power its spells. A symbol is etched in its surface:
Grugga:
When you pick up the disc, you are lost for an instant, like when you picked up a shock that time you played with one of Frumpf's batteries. You see mountains... the open sky... and something there... something of wind and snow and cold and resentment. It is looking at you and you are looking at it and you are seeing through it's eyes and it is seeing through your eyes and it is all too much at once and -
There is a loud crack and the disc breaks into a dozen pieces in Grugga'shands.

As Morbo collapses Aubrey hurries up the hill to his mangled body. "Excellent work everyone."He says looking around at the others, more collected now after almost panicking a few moments ago. Curious he tries to catch a glimpse of the disc. "Wha..what happened?" He says as the disc shatters in Grugga's hands.
"I, er, I don't know. But I think something saw me again... First the water, now the air. I'll never be alone again." He sighs with exhaustion and shakes his head. "We should check the camp for anything and then get out of here. I think whatever gave that ogre the stone was... teaching it, or something. Does anyone know what it was saying, by the way? I don't speak... whatever it was speaking... Giant?"
Rohuzar draws a handful of small seeds from his pocket and clutches at the ground with fingers spread wide for a moment. He closes his eyes and mutters under his breath, casting a magic spell for the first time ever. His hand seems to sink into the ground, but he quickly draws it out. Energy now suffuses those seeds, as they become recipients of the goodberry spell
He doles one seed out to everyone, and munches on one of the seeds.
Cliff takes a berry and mashes another one up and feeds it to the unconscious Kurt, who soon awakens. He is still agitated but is too hurt to do much more than lie there and listen to Cliff recount the fight with the Ogre after he passed out. Kiteborne was uninjured, but he takes advantage of a berry for its properties of providing sustenance - anyone who eats a berry has no need to eat again today. Kiteborne then begins rifling through the Ogre's belongings and separating items of value from trash.
None of you speak or understand Giant, and neither do your three allies.
It is three hours to sundown. If you make haste, you expect you can make it back to Malvern's Town in about two hours. Will you take an hour short rest here, or move on immediately?

Another of Leelan’s arrows thwacks into the Ogre’s shoulder, this one to the front left. It snarls, snaps off the little arrow and shakes it.
It begins to shout at Leelan in Giant:
“Itty bitty man! Morbo will squa-“
In that moment, however, Guilim’s command takes hold. The Ogre seizes up, then tips over forward and falls flat on his face, prone.
Kiteborne attempts to avoid the falling Ogre. DEX: 21. And he manages to roll out the way in time.
