(Sorry for erratic posting, been having some PC issues migrating to a new desktop.)
(You can't just say this and not link us an image of your setup, man, come on) :P
Dyumi scrambles through the piles and shelves, grabbing anything that catches his eye. He snags 2 books that might fetch a good price from interested parties back in Haven. Hopefully, Dyumi can judge a book by its cover.
(Haha, the setup's not too fancy, got a good deal on a Dell XPS 8940. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble getting my Linux Mint install to match up with my hardware. Pondering my next moves at this point. I am a software engineer, but I generally hate computers ;-)

(5 copper it's an aquarium PC Case filled with mineral oil as a liquid.....didn't think that was a thing until I saw it on tiktok)
(Oh man, you aren't kidding. I've seen so many stupid things costing stupid amounts of money. For reference, I've replaced both of my desktops - 1 Win10, 1 Linux Mint - in the last year, but they were each 11+ years old, so that's how I roll!)
So is the party moving on to the adjacent and heretofore overlooked room between the library and the study?
Ollezall draws out his Mace to be different and readies himself for what lays behind the door. Ollezall starts chanting under his breath;
"Nwûl tash. Dzwol shâsotkun. Shâsotjontû châtsatul nu tyûk. Tyûkjontû châtsatul nu midwan. Midwanjontû châtsatul nu asha. Ashajontû kotswinot itsu nuyak. Wonoksh Qyâsik nun."
(Also :P is implied)
(Wow, it truly is amazing how easily one can find anything on the internet. Move over Tolkien and Klingon speakers, the Sith are here!)
The party pops down the hall to the next room and opens the door. This room contains a battered wooden mannequin and a weapon rack holding staffs and daggers, all lit by indigo-tinted light streaming through a window. The floor is stained and scorched. At the far end of the room, a broom hovers in the air, sweeping the floor by itself, like a period correct Roomba. One wall holds diagrams of attack and parry positions for wielders of staffs and daggers.

Ollezall will cast guidance on anyone wanting to investigate or make another skill check. Add 1d4 to your check.
"Would anyone mind giving these daggers a quick look over to see if they are cursed? I wouldn't mind taking 2-3 of them; this mace means I have to get close to do damage, that's why I hardly use it. "
Syd will crack his knuckles and then walk over to the mannequin, poke it squarely in the chest and stare at it with beady eyes, trying to see if it anything more exciting than a simple practicing tool.

Investigation: 5 + 3 (guidance).
Syd's poke sends the mannequin rocking ever so slightly back before it returns to its original position. There doesn't appear to be anything unusual about the mannequin, aside from the evidence of various martial and magical strikes that it's sustained over the years.

Not too fancy? I got like 1/3 of that, to the point that getting a second monitor struck me as excessive at the time...
Mohdrak followed the others out of the library and to the next room. Now this room was more to his liking. Could use a bit of a touch-up and some more weaponry but it was a start. He walked up to the diagrams plastered on the wall to give them a closer look.
Cerlinde goes to the broom that is sweeping by itself and investigates it. “First I want to make sure this magic broom isn’t going to attack us!” 14 (either arcana or investigation, whichever fits)

(I should note that I work full-time remote, so the laptop w/monitor at the standing desk is from my employer. I can't refute, however, that there are an absurd total number of computers in my house! None w/aquariums, though.)
Based on the diagrams, Mohdrak can tell that Fistandia was not only an accomplished wizard, but she also took her physical training quite seriously. The positions and counters depicted on the wall are effective and technical in nature. Some are classics, but there are new methods you are not familiar with. They appear to be optimized for a low strength, high dexterity individual. In addition, you find stacked in the corner a few volumes containing numerous plyometric and body weight exercises.

Cerlinde can tell that this a fairly run of the mill animated object, but she doesn't know what its specific instructions were, beyond keeping this room clean. Can you please describe how you're going about investigating the broom?
Syd will select a sturdy-looking staff from the bunch, and proceed to whack the mannequin a few times with it.
Under the weight of each of Syd's strikes, the mannequin rocks back more violently and rebounds. Following the last strike, it looks to Syd like the mannequin is lashing out at him.
Mannequin - attack vs. Syd: 21, damage (slashing): 6
Although it was lightning quick, you can tell from the gash on your arm that this supposedly inanimate object has successfully attacked you. At the moment, however, it again appears to be nothing more than a training dummy.
"Would anyone mind giving these daggers a quick look over to see if they are cursed? I wouldn't mind taking 2-3 of them; this mace means I have to get close to do damage, that's why I hardly use it. "
On the weapons rack, there are four daggers, four quarterstaffs, and twenty darts in a bandolier hanging from one of the pegs. They are of excellent quality, but Ollezall (still detecting magic, I think), doesn't notice any magic emanating from them.

Looking over at the darts Ollezall speaks up " does anyone mind if I take the darts? They might suit the job better than daggers. On the subject, these weapons are of excellent quality, easily 8GP worth of metal in the daggers, possibly more once you consider their worth in the hands of someone who can handle them like those pictures describe"
If nobody raises issue, Ollezall will add the 20 darts to his inventory.
"Wha.....? Did anybody just see that? This thing just cut me!"
Syd drops the quarterstaff, and unsheathes his familiar greatsword, "Take this, you big.... er... dummy!" and violently cleaves the personal space of the mannequin.

Great looking setup! Linux mint is great, I've used it a little on an old tower.

Syd unleashes a massive strike against the mannequin, but finds that his mighty greatsword is meeting more resistance than he expected. As the blade bites into the mannequin, the whole of it animates and detaches from its pedestal. Dyumi's staff smashes into the mannequin, (but he feels a sharp sting in his hands at the shock of the impact/with a satisfying thunk). The mannequin slowly turns from Syd to Dyumi, then back to Syd. Even though it has a totally blank visage, it is giving off a menacing vibe.
(For Dyumi, should I assume from your roll and the staff attack that you used Shillelagh as BA prior to attack? I think it's been over a minute since the last time you cast it.)
Cerlinde was trying to see if the broom was likely to attack us, or was just programmed to clean. Seeing the dummy attack- she turns and blasts it with a firebolt:
13 to hit
8 fire damage.
