Finn, despite Dorian's outrageous attempts at bringing adoring fans into his own corner, your kinder charms seem to win them over - the odds seem to be in your favour, and Dorian scoffs at this.
"Me first, then," Dorian smiles, raising one foot onto the stool to give a good perch for his lute. Once in place, his fingers dazzle over the strings and his voice coos a simple melody over the complex backing. It's actually very impressive, and the crowd 'woops', and a few people dance along the less crowded edges by the doors, and on the stairs.
He finishes by twirling his lute in his hands by it's neck, and tossing it up into the air - as he does, the sound from it continues as if he were still playing it, and the crowd gasps with awe.

Finn applauds his competitor's performance politely, a little curious about his ability to keep a note going with even holding the instrument. Once the audience has settled down, he sits upon a stool, cradling his lyre in one arm, and begins picking at the strings.
The lyre itself doesn't appear to be fancy by any means - well-worn, hand-carved but not ornate - however, the notes seem to hang in the air as he plays a soft prelude. Finn begins humming a single note before standing back up, knocking the stool over behind him, and using the lyre as a focus for casting Minor Illusion, creating distinct percussive beats to back him up. No, this wasn't going to be a simple ballad. That wouldn't keep the attention of a bar crowd. He had to show energy, excitement, get them moving. He holds the lyre lower on his body, playing it more as you would a guitar than a lyre.
"Remember those walls I built~ Well, baby, they're tumbling down~" Finn goes on to sing an amped up version of "Halo" (à la Glee). Towards the end of his rendition, he ends the back up beats and holds his lyre still, gesturing for the crowd to quiet a bit. He sings a final chorus, in the near silent tavern. "Baby, I can see your halo..." he ends, strumming a chord on the lyre, and causing a halo to appear over his head, much as he had earlier in that day.

Valor approaches Christophus and explains the dealings downstairs. Afterwards she listens to Finn from a spot at the bar out of the way. She pays attention to the crowds of people. Perception 5 looking for anything out of the ordinary.
Valor, Christophus is incredibly relieved at the news you've given him. He calls over the barboy, and has him go down to make sure the hole in the wall gets properly covered, and offers to pour you a drink on the house.
As you watch the crowd, there's nothing about it that's ordinary. All of these people are like you, and your newfound... "Friends". Adventurers. Weapons hang from belts, or sit on tables in front of people. Spellbooks are being kept on hand, and away from the drink-heavy tables. Pouches of coin jangle at the waist, more than simple townsfolk would be likely to have. In this array, there's nothing in particular that stands out to you, it's just a strange sight to see - so many people like this in one place. When you think about it, this city must be one of the safest places in the world right now.
Finn, though Dorian's performance got the crowd cheering - your's brings the house down. Tankards are slammed into tables in place of clapping, raucous cheers explode from even the most impassable audience member. It's beyond clear that you've won this round - and Dorian wears a somewhat forced smile as he bows to you dramatically. "A draw, then," He jokes, flipping you a gold coin from a purple satin coinpurse he wears.
Beorro, you size the figure up immediately, making quick judgments about their character. It's a dwarf, that much is clear to you - smaller than a human, but bigger than you - and they're hiding something. An injury? They hold their right arm as in favouring it, and you manage to get a scent of copper as you focus your senses on the figure that makes you think of blood. This person seems very suspicious to you, and you watch as they head south down the street, away from the Mirror Moon.
Lorick, seeing the barboy come down the stairs, sighs and closes his book. "Guess they sent you down instead." He makes his way upstairs, immediately regretting his decision due to the din caused by the performances. He heads outside for a bit of fresh air.
Finn catches the coin and places it in his pouch. He gives Dorian a nod of acknowledgment, waves at the crowd, then makes his way over to Valor. "Everything taken care of? Has Beorro made his way back yet?"
Beorro briefly considers approaching the suspicious, likely injured dwarf, but ultimately decides against it. I have a strange feeling that if I follow this fellow I’m only asking for trouble. Besides my team is likely wondering what happened to me. I better catch back up with them.
Beorro starts back toward the inn and spots Lorrick outside.
”Oh hey there you are,” he says with a smile, “I wanted to say thank you so much for sparing those poor rats earlier. I just... I can’t bring myself to kill innocent creature, you know? I know you guys probably thought it was a waste of time but still... thanks. Anyway, did I miss anything? What are the others up to?”
Lorick looks up to Beorro. "It's fine as long as escorting the rats out of the inn will prevent them from returning. We were asked to deal with the problem after all." He points toward the establishment behind him. "Valor is in there having a drink, and Finn is, well, being Finn. He's got the crowd worked up and I couldn't hear myself think, and I'm a loud thinker. So, I came out here for a bit of a quieter scene." He looks down the street as night settles in. I imagine we should prepare for tomorrow soon and head to bed. We've got a long day ahead of us."
"Why, thank you, Valor," Finn responds with a smile. "I suppose we should go find them now." He leaves Valor behind and walks out the front of the tavern to find Lorick and Beorro. "Everything all good? Rats taken care of?"
OOC: I'm pleased as punch to let you guys roleplay, but if there is no further movement here today I'm going to push you all back to the room and force upon you a long rest. ;)
“Yes, the rats should be on their way out of the city via the storm drain as we speak. At the very least I think we gave them enough of a scare that they won’t be coming back to this establishment any time soon.” Beorro replies to Finn.
“I agree I’m ready to call it a night too,” he says to Lorick, “Should we find Valor and head back to our room then?”
Beorro follows Finn up to the room. He finds a suitable spot to set up one of the remaining unclaimed bedrolls and places his backpack next to it before lying down.

OOC: would I have spotted Lorick going outside?

Lorick, when you go outside you spot Beorro. Looks like he's disposed of the rats.

Valor is already back up back in the room curled up and asleep on her bedroll. She doesn't often drink but the effects help her find sleep quickly.
