So, spell attack determines your ability to hit with spells that go against armor class like an attack would. It equals your spell modifier (which is basically your int, wis, or cha modifier depending on class) plus your proficiency bonus. Your damage for a spell is always just what's in the spell description. And if the spell doesn't specify that you make a spell attack, you don't need to roll a spell attack to hit.
In the case of earth tremor, that means that when you cast it, you don't roll to hit. Rather, affected creatures roll to resist (with a difficulty determined by your Spell save DC)
There are also ways to increase spell damage for many spells. It typically comes down to:
Being a higher level caster (Some cantrips gain additional damage dice when you reach certain levels)
Casting using a higher level slot (Some spells, including Earth tremor gain additional damage, targets, or effects when used with a higher level slot). This is called upcasting
If damage can be increased by either of these means, it will mention as much in the spell description.
Abrotonon looks down at the old minotaur, " That was a shame.....but his wits had left him a while ago it seems. Perhaps its for the best that he is at rest now."

Antigonos takes 5 more damage, falling to his knees, but getting up. (Klopas, you can attack on the same turn as you produce with Produce Flame if you want.)
Diana attacks with her glaive again, hoping to defeat the minotaur before he can wreak damage on her companions.
Attack: 14 Damage: 13
BA attack: Attack: 12 Damage: 6
((Thank you both! Sorry, Noob..but learning. ^^0))
Klopas lowers his hand, but chooses to keep the flame burning in case an unseen danger still lurks nearby.
He lets out almost a disappointed sigh, and approaches the body of Antigonos.
"I prefer trade over thievery, but then...the dead don't really have any more use for items.." he mutters at a surprisingly less-than-quiet volume.
Kneeling down, he begins searching/checking the body of the fallen creature. (Investigation - 11)
(Also, ironically, Klopas' Charisma is his lowest state - despite being a merchant - so I realize and will deliberately be uncouth during certain situations such as this..)
"Seems the King has fallen, permanently." Goran chimes in without thinking. Realising he may have stepped over a line with Brundt, he throws the minotaur a cautious glance. "Sorry Brundt. Didn't mean to offend if you knew this guy".

"Hmm? Oh, ha!"The laugh is a short, harsh sound, more like a bark. "I knew of Antigonos only by name, and give no thought to the politics of my people." Brundt practically spits out the last word, his contempt apparent. "Or to Mogis, that brainless brute of a god that they worship. The lot of them care little for enlightenment, too obsessed they are with power, domination, and slaughter."
In addition to his battered pewter and silver crown (worth 85 gp), amphora (worth 25 gp to the right buyer, such as a vintner), and tattered robes (worthless), Antigonos carries a backpack worn at his belt like a pouch. It holds 16 cp, a large carnelian (worth 75 gp), and an etching of a bookish-looking minotaur youth.
Eyeing the crown and large carnelian, Klopas makes pleasantly surprised noises.
"Don't mind if I do...!" he chimes aloud to no one in particular.
Should no one stop him, He'll work to pack or otherwise affix the items to his traveling merchant pack.
"There are a few other items of value, should anyone find interest in them.." he comments to the group.
Brundt launches his second stone
Attack: 12 Damage: 4
((Thought I did? Klopas has a +3 to spell modifier, and a +5 to spell attack? - https://ddb.ac/characters/59038689/JHLQxt))
Klopas whispers strangely
burnwhile stretching his right hand toward Antigonos, and it bursts into flames. I hope this helps!
Abrotonon launches a two punch combination at the elderly minotaur.
Attack: 24 Damage: 3

Abrotonon stays quiet waiting to see if Brundt will object to Klopas actions....if he doesn't she will definitely have a look at the axe.

Brundt inspects the etching to see if it is of any significance.
(What roll should I make?)
