"Eh? Oh" the dwarf was a little out of sorts after watching the magic display. Focused again he responds to Kan "Honestly, I was travelling with a group of refugees. You see, the world has gone crazy. Giants attacking everywhere, bandits running around willy nilly. I used to run the family tavern, but the whole town was displaced. So the road it was. Then these kegheads decide to come through and take a few of us. No idea what happened to the other captives. Spent most of the trip knocked out. Damn idiots." His mumblings go on and on. He obviously hasn't spoken to anyone for days and is now making up for it.
Khessa places a hand on the dwarf's shoulder: "Oh, Gryrim, I'm so sorry! I know what it means, to lose all during a raid of ill-doers! I had no idea those scumbags had taken other prisoners, else I'd have questioned their leader about. Someone of your family was also taken?"
"Very well done. I can see the drow scattering already." Ev'alish sits, smiling at Khessa's magic lesson. He takes the ale that Gryrim had made, and brings it up to his mouth. He does not drink it right away, but rather whispers something and breathes ice from his mouth. Frost forms over the surface of the mug and he downs the cold drink happily.
"And Gryrim. Glad to see that thy art safe. Does thee require a weapon or armor before we venture forth once more?"
Khessa smiles back at Ev'alish: "Scattering... and bleeding and burning! They have a lot to answer me for!" she checks then the wound on the silver scales "The 'mark' of Xolkin is healing pretty well. You are a tough one, aren't you? I'm glad the cut was not as deep as it seemed to me at first glance; you know," she winks"I'm getting used to having you at my side."
Now, finally an accomplished wizard, Khessa hugs Kramyra, kisses her on the cheeks, even lifts her off the ground and begins to dance for a while. As she stops: "I'm so grateful mistress Kramyra! I really I'm in debt with you!" a tear of emotion shines in his deep blue eyes.
"Oh goodness Khessa! I appreciate your gestures, but I'm happy to be of assistance. Just remember that feather" Kramyra winks at Khessa "as for spells in your spellbook, I'd love to take a look, thank you."
"Gryrim I am so sorry to hear of that, how cowardice of these people to take you like that." Kramyra gets quiet after that, listening to Gryrim rattle on and a bit lost in thought.
Ev'alish rubs his scale where the attack had hit him. He had almost been brought to his knees during the battle, but the rest seems to have done him some good. "Indeed it has. I would not allow a wicked man such as he to bring us down."
He stands, and moves to lean against the wall beside the door, ready to head out if everybody else is too.
Khessa follows; given that we'll need to check each building ( to be sure to eradicate every threat), she does not care really much were to start. Ok for the keep then.
Khessa has a rope... if she makes a noose there is something she can aim for behind the hole? To secure the rope and maybe pass the hole while hanging?
Ev’alish blinks twice, pulling out a rope from his pack. “I can make that jump easily, and can bring a rope across and tie it so thou can cross easier. Would one of thee mind holding this end?”
(Ev’alish has a strength score of 16, so he can make the jump with a running start.)
Khessa is more than eager to help overcome the obstacle: "Go ahead then, Ev'alish! I'll hold this end"
She is also really curious about what they will find... Will the remaining goblins have invaded the keep? Or the gap has prevented them from that? Then, someone migh be stuck inside...
(No problem; it would have been quite a creative and fun idea, by the way... but trying to roleplay the alignment I had to discard it)
Kan is happy to relook the treasure chest.
“Gryrim, eh? What were you doing that they decided to take you prisoner?”

Khessa is ready as well and takes place by his side.
Ev’alish heads toward the keep first.

Kramyra follows Ev'alish as well, keeping an eye out for more goblins.

Oh, well, we are about to find out
