Khessa takes ad much cover as she can by the wooden gears and cogs, then waves a few gesture, intoning arcane words that start getting more and more familiar to her: a fire mote suddenly shots from her hand to goblin 2: attack: 13 damage: 3
Edit: sorry, forgot to add competence to the attack; it would be attack: 15
The fire mote deflects off of the goblin's shield, and it whoops with delight that it's not on fire.
OOC: @DM please, don't hate me; just two things that come to my mind only now:
1) You described the spell being deflected by the shiled... but if these goblins are using bows, they should not be able, at the same time, to use a shield, or I'm wrong? The bow requires two hands... Of course, if the attack is still a miss, no problem, the fire mote might have been deflected by the rafters or something else.
2) We are forgetting the guards... you did not roll their initiative. Maybe they too can get to act, before Goblin 2.
Anyway, your turn after... either with Goblin 2 (even should Khessa's spell land, the damage was so low that the goblin would be still quite able to fight) or with guards (if they roll a high initiative)
The silver dragonborn's breath turns icy once more, and he steps bravely into the hail of arrows from above. He runs, kicking off of the windmill's wall to gain height.
"Thy shalt not hide from Bahamut's justice! Behold his icy gift unto me! FO... KRAH DIIN!!"
He sends his cold breath weapon toward the rafters, freezing them over in an attempt to cause the goblins to slip.
(Ev'alish is 6' 7", and with a high jump can reach a height of 12 feet with his mouth. The breath weapon is 15 feet long, so the attack clears the 25 feet needed.)
DC 13 DEX save or take 3 cold damage. The goblins will have +5 to this roll due to 3/4 cover, but the main intent is for them to slip and fall.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kramyra watches the impressive height that Ev’alish can get his icy breath from under the rafters. While the goblins try to hold on, she attacks the closest one with her chill touch, Attack: 13 Damage: 2
Apparently too distracted by Ev’alish and she heads back under the rafters for some cover from the goblin’s arrows
(OOC: Alara and Kaelan should have attacked with advantage, because they were meleeing poor #1, who is still prone - since he has not acted yet. Sorjen, you are the last that can act before goblin 1, go ahead with your turn as soon as you're ready)
As if to prove himself worth of his the nickname Khessa had given to him, Sorjen moves silent like a shadow, following, stalking the larger group, from a distance never greater than ten feet. On his hand bow and arrow, readied for a shot at any moment. He is half surprised when the group find no goblin by the graveyard. Even in the Frozenfar tales of graverobbers were common knowledge and even the simplest trinkets could be of great interest to the small bandits, as the whole episode with the bell of the temple showed well. A little bit of luck, he thought at the end, as they moved to the windmill.
There the good luck ended, and they soon found goblinoids raiders. The ranger watched as everyone reacted, and most of the group misses their attacks. Seems I’m not the only having a bad time. A thought that hardly served as any consolation. He would rather concentrate all the bad luck and see his companions slaughter the enemies than see them sharing his misfortune. He almost sheered when Ev’alish breath ultimately caused their foes to fall. Instead the half-elf take position behind the wall from the entrance and still hidden he readies to attack the first goblin to raise from the prone position. As soon as the arrow flies from his bow he would duck behind the wall, getting full cover.
Notes: Sorjen readies an attack with his longbow and immediately after the shot he will duck behind the wall, hppefully getting full cover.

The goblin's cheering ruins his aim and Khessa is missed.
(Now the others, but the last guard, can act before Goblin 1)

It must have been an error, roll yourself for it, if you are still online, and if you are before goblin 1 go ahead with your turn
