The burly bartend listens intently to Khessa's plan. "Lass, in another life I would surely have put you on my staff. Your detailed plans woulda made for grand tales around the hearth in the finest o' establishments." He smiles at Khessa. "To add to yer plan, I have this uncanny ability to add a bit of imagery to the treasure hoard. Ya see, I can make the chest look like a huge pile of loot to those...ah...less smart. An illusion if ya will. What you think?" He waves his ringed hand and creates a pile of treasure at Khessa's feet. "Came in mighty handy at closing time. Funny how quickly people leave when they see a snake on the floor" he chuckles as he casts his mind back to the simpler days.
"This 'uncanny ability' of yours is also a welcome improvement!" Khessa is delighted "You know what, lad?" she smiles back at Gryrim "I never met a bartender with your... err... abilities, but sure in THIS life I'm glad to have you on OUR staff!"
Then to the others: "Other improvements? Or someone who wants to rest before? Or... action time?"
“I like the idea of covering the caltrops. We could put them under fabric and camouflage the fabric with sand and leaves. There is only a problem with the plan.”He says approaching, nearly a sound coming from his steps. His complexion is paler than normal, but aside from that only the stain of blood in the place the arrow hit him is any indication that the half-elf is hurt.“We are assuming our new friend here won’t betray us and warn the whole cave of our operation.”
The worst part is that there was nothing they could do about that. They didn’t have any kind of leverage to use against the goblin. Not after he left the reach of their weapons and spells. A thought he decided better left unspoken. Last thing he wanted was to give Pojo any kind of idea.
“We can remediate that if take our positions after he leaves for the cave, but I worry about the way.” He turns to the new captive, his blue eyes as cold as ice and his face inexpressive. “Are there traps around the cave? How many are ‘quite a few’ goblins? Ten? Twenty? How many of them would take our side?”
"Well... if Boss Pojo double crosses us" replies Khessa, "He, for sure, wastes his best chance to become Boss. He will forever be only Humble And Expendable Pojo. And for what prize? We would see, if from cave exits not only one ogre but more forces. We could then run back to the village and defend ftom palisade. He would hardly see us captured... and maybe his actual Boss would blame him for letting us escape or for having betrayed their cove! I'd say to give Boss Pojo his chance"
Kan has a bit of a defeated look. “Just… just don’t tell anyone what a coward I am if I hide. I thought I was cut out for this, but the magic goes so fast. Mortals just aren’t meant to touch the weave without special training, you can burn out the nerves. It takes rest. If we aren’t taking a night on this, well… I won’t be much help in the fight.”
“But this talk of traps! I can help you there. It’s not so different than stage ropes and backdrops and such… not that I’d know anything about that. It’s just… a saying. I’m saying I could help you. With whatever.”
"Let's do it then" Khessa prepares the scene: fetches the chest (use one of the horses in stable, if too heavy), lets Gryrim make it more appealing with illusions, chooses (maybe with Sorjen's help?) the best place to hide for the party, places the caltrops between chest and party and shrouds them with leaves or whatever is on the ground already.
Then, if the wounded have rested,
(OOC: and rolled HD to heal themselves, like DM said)
she waits for all to hide and gently pats Pojo on the shoulder: "This is a big chance for you. Not only to become Boss, but also to open a far better future for you and the goblins that will follow you. After having helped to free the villagers, you will be no less heroes than us. You will be village's friends, getting help when needed... instead of bolts when spotted! Things will go better for both men and goblins. Now go fetch the first big ugly"

“The plan is set then but I will take a rest first.” He announces in accord with the others, taking some distance. Eleven goblins. They had more than a chance. “And the only cowardice is to not fight when one can. Hiding is more of a combat discipline.” And one hard to master. Takes time, patience, practice. He learned that in a hard way, although not the hardest. “I will help finding positions to lay in wait for the ogres. By the way, which weapons do they use?” He asks turning to Pojo a last time. After hearing the goblin’s answer, he sits in meditation.
After the brief respite he follows the group, still keeping his distance, then help each and everyone of his allies to find a hiding spot. That done he put 150ft between him and the entrance of the cave, find a hideout of his own and prepare his bow, ready to attack the moment the ogres reach the chest. This time he would mark the first target he managed to hit with the Favored Foe technique. Hunter’s Mark was better, he knew, but he could need it against the other ogre or the enemy goblins. Besides, it was always good to have Zephyr Strike at the ready.
Notes: Sorjen uses the help to show the party good places to hide then hides himself, 150ft from the cave entrance and ready an attack with the trigger being a ogre getting 5ft from the chest. In case the attack hits he will use Favored Foe.

Ok, if all goes as planned, these are the rolls for Khessa:
Stealth:9 Attack (with a Fire bolt): Attack: 15 Damage: 1
After the attack Khessa will step out, two handed sword in the hands, to get the attention of the ogre and (hopefully) lure him on the hidden caltrops.
Kramyra is surprised when Sorjen offers to help her hide. She always had the opinion he found her a bit trifling. She is appreciative of it and hides as best she can and readies her chill touch
"I likewise will defer to thee, if any of thou need a moment to recover."

Ev'alish nods. "Sire Pojo would certainly be worthy of his chance. Let him prove or deny himself."
