Rhogarr - Relating to funerary rites - You've heard of some cultures that carve likenesses of the dead into the lids of their sarcophagi. You think this is an example of this practice.
All - The piece of rubble lands in the sarcophagus with a THUNK. Nothing happens... Then you all hear a sound, like wind howling through a narrow passage. It gets louder and louder and suddenly a fierce gale rips through the passage behind you, howling with all the ferocity of a raging barbarian. The winds swirl around the sarcophagus, dust and debris spinning in a vortex above it. A ghostly light forms in the vortex, it grows and assumes the form of a large ethereal battleaxe!
Let's roll for initiative! The battleaxe acts on initiative count 20.

“My sincerest condolences, my friends!” Samuel shouts to his companion. If possible, he will move 2 squares north past the Battleaxe to allow room for his companions to move up. He will stab towards the battleaxe with his rapier. Attack: 20 Damage: 5
Samuel - You are able to move through the Battleaxe's space since its size is considered tiny. It is still difficult terrain, but you have more than enough movement speed to compensate for that. Your rapier pierces the transparent form of the battleaxe, but doesn't seem to inflict any damage. You're sure you hit it, but not so sure the attack had any effect.

Not sure he can even harm an etheral axe Damian still tries to hex the weapon before blasting it with hellish red crackling force. Eldritch blast: 8 Force: 10 Necrotic: 1

“Let’s see how it likes fire!” And Ankita hurls her flame towards the battle axe. Attack: 18 Damage: 6
Unsure if fire will make a difference and wants to be ready with a magic weapon, she uses her bonus action to cast Shillelagh on her staff, the warm glow it produces also brings with it confidence within Ankita. With no command to the wildfire fox, it dodges.
(I am unsure where I am on the map, hopefully I can move to where I can see the battle axe, but no closer. The fox stays by me, floating by my head since it is such a narrow passageway)
Definitely granting guidance Would Rhogarr know the significance of the barbarian imagery? If so, religion: 17

Samuel thinks to himself how useful a jar of eyes would be right now to check the sarcophagus for traps.
Rhogarr is going to tell everyone that this is a sarcophagus.
“Hopefully the dead stay dead.”

Samuel will pick up a piece of rubble about the size of his fist and toss it into the sarcophagus.
Dex Check (basing this off of the previous Jar of Eyeballs scenario): 17

Remi initiative: 5
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Samuel Initiative: 19
(Sorry!)
Damian initiative: 18
(NP Thazgol, only way to get the good stuff is to take some risks. Damian is a bit annoyed though but don't mind him, he almost always is. ;-)
Well, the rat did warn us!
Initiative: 11
I will roll for Rhogarr.
Rhogarr initiative: 6
Initiative order:
The Battle axe will float over to Samuel and swipe at him. The axe whistles through the air, just missing Samuel.
Attack: 12 Damage: 10
Samuel is up! Followed by Damian, then Ankita.
NOTE: Both narrow passages are not wide enough to allow you all to pass by one another. You must move through them in single file.

Pre-posting: Rhogarr will demand that the battleaxe return to whichever hell it came from and strike it with his hammer. Attack: 6 Damage: 10
DM: In the Shadow of the Mountains: Lost Mine of Phandelver
“My strike had no effect! Don’t waste time with physical strikes. Resort to the divine or arcane, perhaps?”
Not sure he can even harm an etheral axe Damian still tries to hex the weapon before blasting it with hellish red crackling force.
Eldritch blast: 8 Force: 10 Necrotic: 1
Damian - Your red crackling blast flies through the Battleaxe with no effect. It impacts the wall behind with a WHUMP.
Ankita is up! Followed by Rhogarr (Pre-posted), then Remi.

Ankita - Your fireball passes directly through the battleaxe, also seeming to do no damage to it.
Rhogarr has difficulty hitting the ethereal weapon with his warhammer.
Remi is up! Followed by the Battleaxe, then Samuel.
"Fall back team!" Damian calls out from the back.
