You settle down for the evening around a nice little fire that Rylei created. As the sun starts setting you can hear the croaking of the bulltoads and the chirping of crickies. You've gathered enough wood to keep the fire going until dawn. Brachos goes about making a trap in case intruders come upon your campsite.
Brachos, what kind of trap are you thinking about devising? Also, decide what your watch order is.

crap...okay, I guess that isn't working or maybe I am not doing it right, but if you go to the Compendium on here, it's under Adventuring. All the rest rules are there for your enjoyment...lol :)
EDIT: Here is the rules of a Long Rest:
Long Rest
A long rest is a period of extended downtime, at least 8 hours long, during which a character sleeps or performs light activity: reading, talking, eating, or standing watch for no more than 2 hours. If the rest is interrupted by a period of strenuous activity--at least 1 hour of walking, fighting, casting spells, or similar adventuring activity--the characters must begin the rest again to gain any benefit from it.
At the end of a long rest, a character regains all lost hit points. The character also regains spent Hit Dice, up to a number of dice equal to half of the character's total number of them (minimum of one die). For example, if a character has eight Hit Dice, he or she can regain four spent Hit Dice upon finishing a long rest.
A character can't benefit from more than one long rest in a 24-hour period, and a character must have at least 1 hit point at the start of the rest to gain its benefits

Okay, I will need a watch order and if there is anything else you are doing while on your rest. Remember, you don't have to sleep the whole time, but you can not do any strenuous activity for over an hour. Say Brachos wants to train with his sword a bit, he can do so for 45 minutes and still be fine.

Argo follows the game trail for some time and is easily able to steer clear of the large cat creature and make his way towards the gang of elk. It's a smaller herd, being this close to a city being the reason. He sees 9 adult elk (3 bulls/6 does in that group) and 3 young fawns. Argo is able to track, target and kill his prey. After he fires his shot and takes down his target, the gang scatter to the winds and he is able to clean his catch.
Dro is trying to get Brachos to show him how to defend himself without the use of magic. A useful skill in a world where magic might not be enough.
Rylei is writing down the day's events and logging them for future examination. He starts his entry by going over the details of the warehouse and the Dragconic's. The way their bodies disappeared into puddles of mush on the dirt floor. How they were given this map and quest to go on by the grizzled inn keep, Dirk the Dark, while also Rylei notes the woman he set wards on the warehouse that were very short-lived. Rylei jots down the encounter at the tavern and the meeting with Fancir Laughingtop and the locket he gave the party to take to his brother, Tomlir. The party met another group within the tavern that seemed to enjoy each other's company and no one else's. As the next group of Dragconic's attack, the elven woman and her companions run out of the tavern. Fancir conjures a Wall of Stone to keep out the rest of the Dragconics led by the Firelord, Carnagith. The Firelord of Greenlake.
You make your way into the sewers into a magical hole in the floor and start feeling a sickness come over you. As you come to the end of the sewers, Argo finds a tuft of hair on the grate. You make your way to the clearing and start setting up camp for a rest...

Argo carries his quarry back to the camp and begins to prepare it for the group to eat. He notices Dro and Brachos apparently preparing to spar with sticks and Rylei writing in his journal nearby. (OOC: Did we retcon Alendi out? Is he gone or has he just not posted in a while?) Argo has been a stranger in a strange land for some time, but this is the first time he has traveled with companions since the last of his tribe were taken. He grimaces at the memory. He tries to focus on the venison instead, but with no luck. The strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack, he thinks to himself. He sighs. If this group was going to slay the dragon, they would need to trust each other. To trust them, he would have to know them.
"So, Master Wizard," Argo says to Rylei. "what'll it be? Flank? Brisket? Rib?"
