Argo stops in his tracks, sniffing the rancid air. "This is not merely the filth of civilization. We are not alone: some truly foul beast makes these sewers its home, somewhere before us. Be on your guard."
EDIT: (Ah, ninja'd. Argo does that earlier.)
As Argo passes through the grate, he notes out loud, "Whatever is in that sewer has passed through that grate. It left some fur."
Outside the sewer, Argo turns to the south. "We should find some high ground and rest until nightfall. Then we'll have the cover of darkness as we move."
I through the iron bars and I probably end up toppling over and falling into the water from the exhaustion. I get back up weary and manage to sputter out "Sewer? Fur? Foul stench? I'd bet money on rats." I'll try and shake off some of the water and hope nothing got seriously damaged or wet.

The murky water you fell into is cold and dirty. The rain has slowed to a trickle. Argo you see down the road a nice thicket of trees with some hills beyond it, maybe if you explored that further, you would find some higher ground. The lake itself has a steady flow of traffic, as the sun is reaching midday there are quite a few ships in sight, fishing the cold waters of the lake.

"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

(OOG Since it's been a couple days I am going to move this along a little bit.)
The party starts moving down the road, wary of Dragconic patrols and other citizens of Greenlake. After a couple hours, you make your way onto a hillside covered in trees, far enough from the road to be out of sight and covered enough for protection. The rain seems to have stopped for now, though, it is still very cloudy outside. As you rest you feel your exhaustion peel away...you regain all exhaustion levels.
Also, level yourselves up to Level 2.
How long would y'all like to rest for?

Depending on the time of day, I would suggest we rest for a full night. Make camp and try and think of our next decision. But if the day is still young, maybe we take a short rest to regain some strength and try to put some distance from the town towards the Well of Dreams.

level 2: You can create a magical ward on yourself when you cast an abjuration spell of level one or higher until you finish a long rest. the ward has a hit point maximum equal to twice your wizard level + intelligence modifier. When you take damage the ward does instead. When the ward is reduced to 0 hit points you take the remaining damage. when the ward has 0 hit points it can not absorb damage but the magic remains. When you cast an abjuration spell of 1st level or higher the ward regains hit points equal to twice the spell level. Once you create the ward you can not do so again until you finish a long rest.

// Honestly, the best course would be to do a regular post saying what changes we've made from the level up. Then go back to the first page where we have our character sheets posted and edit them so that you always have a go-to place where the information is located in case you need to look it up.
So example, I would post what Rylei's new HP is and what spells I changed out if any, and any new active features. Then I will go back to the first page and copy and paste that same block of text on my original character sheet post. It's honestly the best way. I'm sure when Phase 2 starts we might find a better way? Or if we wanna take advantage of any of the online character sheets from google drive, etc. It's honestly whatever you would like as the DM. I can even link the excel sheet I have for my character if you want that. //

At 2nd level, you tap into a deep wellspring of magic within yourself. This wellspring is represented by sorcery points, which allow you to create a variety of magical effects.
Sorcery Points
You have 2 sorcery points, and you gain more as you reach higher levels, as shown in the Sorcery Points column of the Sorcerer table. You can never have more sorcery points than shown on the table for your level. You regain all spent sorcery points when you finish a long rest.
Flexible Casting
You can use your sorcery points to gain additional spell slots, or sacrifice spell slots to gain additional sorcery points. You learn other ways to use your sorcery points as you reach higher levels.
Creating Spell Slots. You can transform unexpended sorcery points into one spell slot as a bonus action on your turn. The Creating Spell Slots table shows the cost of creating a spell slot of a given level. You can create spell slots no higher in level than 5th.
