Nimble helps Xal investigate the mural of the forest, looking for any sign of a false back that will open the way to a hidden room. Investigation: 28
When they discover the tree, he places a hand on the hilt of his icicle rapier and traces a snowflake in the air with his other hand, sending a ray of frost toward the tree to uncover the room hidden behind.
((Was going to say you had advantage because she told you about it, but with Nimble on the case...))
As you move your fingers along the carvings, you feel a slight indent run across the trunk, out of place and almost invisible but your keen senses and skill at finding things that are just a bit out of place easily spotted it. As you send a ray of frost into the tree, the cold takes over as the lines of frost begin to reach out like a vine. You follow the thin line of ice with your eyes as it traces the outline of a door. When the frost hits the floor, you loop up and the door stands open and inviting.
As you step into this room, your vision all but disappears, its as if you stepped into a void. A heavy wind whips around the room, almost taking you off your feet as you take your first steps into darkness. A seemingly plain stone square room, it has a number of interesting features. In two opposing corners of the room stand two large statues. Each statue is a great armored elven knight, its hands reaching down to its scabbard as if about to draw its sword. One is a gleaming beacon, a Holy knight with golden armor that somehow reflects the light despite being stone, the other is a dark shadow, a warrior in almost imperceptible black armor. Solid stone walls line the room, on each wall hangs an unlit sconce and just above each of the sconces, a hole in the wall, a perfectly cut 1 foot by 1 foot hole, exactly the same on each wall. You realize as you look up, that this is where the howling wind is coming from. At the back of the room sits a dusty, short stone column. Elven engravings line the plinth.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Nimble follows Xal as the wolf pads into the room, glancing over at the distinctly different statues before heading to the stone pillar and reading the inscription “All is calm, all is bright. Hmm, not hardly”
Nimble glances at the openings allowing the wind to blow through above the unlit sconces. “Must be some sort of riddle. I would say we have to close up the holes and light the torches. Maybe then we will find these ancient elven weapons she told us about. Anyone have any ideas?” He looks expectantly at the others and scratches Xal behind the ears.
Nimble searches around the room for anything that can plug the openings in the wall, or for a secret lever or other mechanism that will close them. Investigation: 19.
After a thorough inspection, Nimble finds the room devoid of secret levers, but did find an old leather bag. It seems to have once contained rations of some kind, long since spoiled.

Nimble follows Xal’s look up at the sconces Elafir has pointed out. “Yes, let’s try to light them and see what happens. I didn’t find much else in this room that could help us yet” He takes out his tinderbox and lights a torch, then uses his mage hand if necessary to reach the sconces upon each wall, attempting to light them.
As the sconce is lit, the two statues begin to stir, but the wind promptly swirls and snuffs the flame, the statues settling back into their starting positions.

Ursula picks up the large coin and joins the rest. When they are having trouble lighting the sconce, she thinks about the room she was just in... was there anything in there to stuff in the holes in the wall?
The sconce closest to the "light" armored thing, Ursula heads over and takes her jolly hat off. She stuffs it into the hole and says "Here, now try to light it"
With the hole blocked, when Nimble lights the sconce it stays lit, and the two statues take a step forward then halt, each of them drawing a stone sword half out of their sheathes as they do. The shiny statue's blade has a glow about it, while the dark, shadowy statue's blade is similarly wreathed in shadow.

"Great idea, Ursula!" Nimble takes the leather bag, still with some of the spoiled food inside and stuffs it into the hole by the statue clad in dark armor, then relights to torch on that wall. "Does anyone else have something to block the holes? Cloaks, bags, anything?"
Nimble blocks a second hole and lights the sconce, leaving two yet unlit as the statues pull their blades free and take another step closer to the middle of the room.

"Ohhh, I hope nothing bad happens." Lala takes out and lights one of her torches and touches herself casting Spider Climb and scrambles up to block the next hole with her body as she lights the next sconce.

"I have not seen anything like this before. Shall we light those up?" he asks, pointing to one of the sconces.

There's probably something, but looking at the void they crossed to get here, she's not entirely sure if she'll be able to return if she leaves.
