Snow watches the Lady take the damage from the pillar of light without flinching, let alone moving away. He looks across the hallway to Auger trying to lock eyes, and furrows his brow before whispering an inspiring, "You got this!", and nodding towards the Lady.
For the moment he can think of nothing better to do than to maintain the pillar of light and see what the Lord and Lady do themselves.
Concentration: Moonbeam round 9/10, DC18 Con save or take 6+7=13[radiant] damage, otherwise take 6 damage. Movement: None, still on the line between O6 and O7, benefitting from cover but just keeping line of sight on the Lady. Bonus Action: Bardic Inspiration for Auger (1d8) Action: Ready Action to move Moonbeam if the Lady exits from it. Reaction:
If anyone attacks him that he can see, or if the Jlasi make an ability check to the detriment of the group, he will use Cutting Words. Cutting Words: 1+2=3 “Your drug addled minds are clouded and your senses dull, you are doomed to be defeated”
Shaking his head at the vision from beyond, seeing the giant kraken impossibly rise in a sea of energies, Auger is taken back at her enormous potential. If this is her ability, he thinks, then he would have to force multiple courses of action and see if she can stop everything. Stepping back into the hall Auger sights the Lady and sends the Yemma's bolt flying from the Diadem at the Lady. As that draws her attention Auger refocuses his attention on the motes of light he sent into the room previously. He combines the four lights into a pair and then, reaching again through the Diadem, empowers them with the same radiant energy as the bolt. He then sends both of these slow moving radiant lights into the Lady.
Details
Concentration: Dancing Lights (technically these died with the previous spell attempt but for effect its cool if they persisted in some fashion)
Move: To Q5 or Q6 in order to get a clear view of the Lady
Bonus Action: The Yemma's Guiding Bolt. Roll = 25 for 5 points of radiant damage and Advantage on all attacks against the Lady before the end of Auger's next turn.
Action: Activate Ball of Radiance expending 2 charges from the Diadem (1 remains), creating two spheres within 5ft of the Lady. She must make successive DC15 DEX saving throws to avoid all damage (looks like the 1/2 thing does not apply). Sphere 1: 20 points of damage (max damage roll!) Sphere 2: 10 points of damage. All radiant.
Ball of Radiance. You can expend 2 charges as an action to create one to four 3-foot-diameter spheres of radiant energy. The more spheres you create, the less powerful each sphere is individually. Each sphere appears in an unoccupied space you can see within 120 feet of you. The spheres last as long as you concentrate (as if concentrating on a spell), up to 1 minute. Each sphere sheds dim light in a 30-foot radius. As a bonus action, you can move each sphere up to 30 feet, but no farther than 120 feet away from you. When a creature other than you comes within 5 feet of a sphere, the sphere discharges radiant energy at that creature and disappears. That creature must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes radiant damage based on the number of spheres you created.
Move: Back to P4 seeking partial cover

DM of RotFM | AUGER the Warlock (Archfey & the Chain) / Shadow Sorcerer in Age of Resurgence | Rahui & Javier in Sea of Memory
Varielky closes with Tazellayt and arrives near enough to land the first blow before he can react, despite his much longer reach. This, Varielky may take to imply that the Jlasi Lord’s concentration is attenuated.
Varielky’s first slash takes advantage of this weakness and cracks against Tazellayt’s right bracer strong enough to dismember a lesser man, though on the Seneschal the worst of the red-steel blade’s blow is deflected, and then, worse, some of its impetus collects and reflects back, directly from the man’s solar plexus, to strike Varielky (for 3HP force damage).
Tazellayt grits his teeth but comes to his senses and brings up the butt of his glaive to parry the shield-maiden’s next blow, but Granophyre’s blessing intervenes, empowering Varielky’s timing, and her blow connects. She suffers another 5HP force damage as a second blast of redirected energy cracks into her in response to her attack.
The Seneschal now circles around the shield-maiden, whirling his glaive overhead, then striking with ferocious energy. “The true warrior needs no armor and prepares through strength of will!,” He strikes high, (30 to hit/ 15HP slashing), and then low (2nd attack 25 for 15HP slashing), and then closes, and, passing Varielky again, smashes her with the blunt end of his polearm (27 to hit for 9HP bludgeoning). Following this attack, he seems confused and ends his maneuvering facing the two baked Jlasi warriors and adopting a wavering defensive stance against them.
The Lady Izzebudjin suffers the full combined force of Snow’s moonbeam, and Auger’s attacks through the diadem. Her features twist in pain. She stands, raises both arms, and long blasts of ice stream out from her delicate fingers at Auger (19 to hit / 19HP cold, speed reduced by 10 feet during his next turn on hit), and Snow (25 to hit / 17HP damage, speed reduced by 10 feet during his next turn on hit). (Both Auger and Snow receive +2AC for partial cover.)
The Lady then snaps her fingers and disappears from view, as thunder rumbles loudly overhead. Her current whereabouts are impossible to discern without magical means.
Auger sees the stream of ice coming at him and successfully redirects the energies into the door above him.
Readying a response Auger must change gears as the Lady snaps her fingers and disappears. Not sure at the best next step, Auger makes himself invisible and moves back down the hallway to pick another doorway to hide in.
(I suppose those numbers are not taking Varielky's rage into account, so the total damage after resistance should be 18, +3 from the force damage for a total of 21, right? Otherwise, she falls unconscious and doesn't take the turn I'm writing below. Also, I realise I forgot to include the benefits of Bless earlier. The fault is on my end, so I won't ask to retcon, but I'm mentioning this in case one of the other two also forgot about it, in case a situation where it applies arises again.)
Varielky doesn't expect the strange retaliation attack, nor the strength of the man. She expected him to be strong, but that was beyond any expectation! Wonderful! And yet, she realises, she might not be able to take another round of attacks and remain standing, not even taking into account whatever strange force was guarding him by retaliating against her attacks. She staggers back, hitting the table behind her (RP). No, if she wants to win this duel, she must do all she can to finish it quickly, or at least, change the situation in her favour.
Varielky has no reply to the man's statement regarding the strength of will. Was her will not strong? Surely, not strong enough to protect her body from a blade better than her armour can. She suffers that mental hit, and yet, this doesn't dissuade her from resuming her own attacks. Varielky raises her leg backwards, resting her foot against the table. Then, pushing with all her strength, she leaps into the air, towards the man.
As if time slows down - or perhaps it was Varielky's perception and movements that accelerated - while, still in the air, she does multiple things simultaneously. "What I lack in strength of will, I will make up to with conviction! The gods don't only observe us mortals; they reward the worthy with their guidance!" She calls, shouts even, possibly talking to convince herself more than anybody else. Then, still in the air, she slashes twice, swiftly running the blade across the man's chest - for even while jumping as she does she merely reaches his height. Then, as she lands, Varielky lands practically on the man, positioning her shield between them and trying to use all her strength and weight to shove the man down to the floor. Though, for someone this big, even for Varielky it is not an easy task to accomplish.
Status: Raging, round 2/10. Movement: None, mechanically. The above is all RP. Action: Attack. Attack #1: 16+2+10=28. Damage: 7+11=18. Spending her last Superiority Die for a Menacing Attack manoeuvre, adding 5 damage for a total of 23. Tazellayt must also succeed on a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or become Frightened until the end of Varielky's next turn. Attack #2: 7+10+2=19. Damage: 6+11=17. Bonus Action: Shield Shove to knock Tazellayt prone. Athletics: (7, 3 - advantage)+8=15. Using Snow's Bardic Inspiration to add 3 for a total of 18 (in the sheet I also rolled a d4 thinking Bless applies, but rereading the spell I realise it does not apply to ability checks, so ignore that). A reminder that if Tazellayt failed his Wisdom save earlier, he'd have a disadvantage on his ability check here, which should cancel out his advantage from raging.
Snow sees the blast of ice too late and takes the full force, reeling back in agony and losing focus on the pillar of light.
As he looks back towards the Lady, he sees her disappear and then the same happens to Auger. Turning quickly he looks to see if Strewn has also disappeared, but relaxes a little as the old Dwarf is still there behind him. "She disappeared, I don't know where she went", he whispers.
He thinks for a moment, unsure whether the Lady had teleported away or if she is just invisible. Without a better plan, he grabs hold of his violin to focus his magic, purses his lips and whistles a haunting tune that only the Lady will be able to hear. That is, if she is close enough to hear.
Concentration: Check 4+2=6 (Fail, Moonbeam drops. Other: Mage Hand, round 4/10. Auger has Bardic Inspiration (D8). Action: Cast Dissonant Whispers, does not need to see target, they just have to be within 60ft (here's hoping she is merely invisible).Damage: 2+4+6=12, DC18 Wis Save to only take 6. On failed save the Lady has to use her reaction to move as far away from Snow as her speed allows. Movement: None, stands in the doorway to protect Strewn. Reaction:
If anyone attacks him that he can see, or if the Lady makes an ability check to the detriment of the group, he will use Cutting Words. Cutting Words: 8+2=10 “You have allied with goblins, you are cursed for all time. The good news is that won't last long”
Auger turns invisible and retreats, tracing his steps through goblin bodies and blood pooling on the floor.
Varielky attacks with such vigor that the Seneschal’s parry is knocked back into his jaw with great force and the Jlasi Lord (although certainly not scared of the shield-maiden) suffers the effects of the frightened condition following her blow. He endures another slash of her red-steel blade, and Varielky’s shield bash bowls him over to slam into the two dead bodies beside the wall, knocking them over in turn (RP). He rises again, but slowly, seemingly unable to focus.
Varielky continues to suffer force damage each time she hits the Seneschal: 6HP for her first blow, 3HP force for the second.
Snow does not know whether or not his dissonant whispers have any effect.
Granophyre peeks out of the doorway to see Varielky “I cannot merely stand here!,” he whispers to Snow, and throws a tiny crystal vial to the shield-maiden. It shatters, allowing healing vapors to escape, which drift into her nostrils, granting her 16HP of healing.
Snow hears a sound echoing up the stairs. It could be Lady Izzebudjin.
Neither the Seneschal nor the Lady attack this round.
As Auger moves back he sees that his chosen route leaves him trailing blood from the dead goblins that surround him. Not worrying about that for the moment he tries to pay attention so that if the Lady should show herself he can take an action. Instead he is able to see, curiously, Snow doing something with his violin but the motions make no sound that Auger can hear. What he does hear is Varielky continuing to fight and he sees Granophyre toss one of his healing vials into the next room. She usually does not want the help, but Auger realizes that if the Lord and Lady ever come to their senses they will want to work together. Auger maintains his invisibility but leaves the area of the dead Goblins. Passing Granophyre and Snow he whispers, "I will stay ready in the chamber and keep an eye on Varielky."
Auger then continues on into the next room where he takes a position across from where Varielky fights the Lord. Behind the Lord, Auger notes the windows. Auger tries to position himself so that a blast could possibly push the Lord out and through the windows if needed.
A bitter taste now stings Varielky, and in this emotionally-amplified state, it is almost enough to make her forfeit the fight. Almost. Her opponent, she realises, is not fighting to the best of his ability. Dazed by opium, it seems, and knowing that spoils the entire fight. What beauty is there in a fight between a drug addict who can't get their head straight and a woman who is still tired from a recent fight? And although he was quite powerful even in this state, defeating this man would never feel right. In fact, the only thing that keeps her fighting is the mission. The fight itself has lost all meaning.
In his fogged state, even without wishing for it, Varielky's attacks land true, and against someone who doesn't even try to defend themselves, the sword cuts deep. Her body moves on its own at this point, as she slams her shield in the man's face to knock him down to the floor again.
(Sometimes, the dice just love you, and though it makes a lot of sense, it feels anti-climatic following a turn the enemy wasted.) Status: Raging, round 3/10. Action: Attack. Attack #1: 20 crit! Damage: 1+3+11=15. Attack #2: 20 crit again! Damage: 4+6+11=21. Bonus Action: Shield Shove to knock Tazellayt prone. Athletics: (19, 20 - advantage)+8=28.
Snow hears the whispered words of Auger as he slips passed his position. "I hear sounds up the stairs, I will investigate", he whispers in return.
Not wishing to openly follow the Lady after the blast he just took, he draws the bow across his violin. As has happened before, as he does so all light and sound seem to be sucked into the violin.
He then moves across the corridor, leaving not a trace of his passing, and moves towards the stairs. He listens intently for any noises.
Concentration: Pass Without Trace, 1 hour Action: Casts Pass Without Trace Movement: Sneaks to the bottom of the stairs, P3. Bonus Action: None Reaction:
If anyone attacks him that he can see he or makes an ability check to his detriment will use Cutting Words. Cutting Words: 2+2=4 “You have allied with goblins, you are cursed for all time. The good news is that won't last long”
Snow stealthily creeps downstairs, all but imperceptible thanks to the thunderstorm and his spell. The bard sees nothing from his position at P3, but hears the Lady’s voice, seemingly talking to herself and not pleased, farther down the spiral stairs, perhaps in the Great Hall below.
Auger invisibly moves into the master bedroom, and notes that all of the stained glass windows extend from floor to ceiling and are 4’ wide.
Lightning flashes through them outside as Varielky’s blows slam into Tazellayt, but his wild magic continues to reflect kinetic energy back to her at the moment she strikes him, causing her 2+5=7HP force damage for her two hits. She notes that he must benefit from the same resistance to physical damage she does when raging, for although the towering fighter is once again bowled over by the petit shield-maiden, he seems little fazed by her mightiest blows. They do however, pull him from his stupor.
With incredible power, thighs bulging, Seneschal Tazellayt pushes up, with the pole of his glaive against Varielky’s spellguard shield, forcing her up to her toes. With a quick surge of energy, he snaps her backwards and cracks down on her temple with the blunt end of the polearm for 10HP (/2=5HP) bludgeoning damage. Extending the motion, he reverses and rotates the wide blade end upward and behind, with astonishing mastery, to impale the shield-maiden’s lower abdomen just under her enchanted breastplate, critting for 33HP slashing damage (/2=16HP), then pulling back on the glaive, allowing her to drop to her knees, blood pouring from the wound.
“Varielky!,” shouts Granophyre, and he sends another vial of healing vapors to her, sealing the gaping wound and allowing her to recover 12HP.
Tazellayt seems to reel dizzily in the wake of his attack. Barely aware of Varielky; his eyes now alight woozily upon Granophyre.
Coming into the room, Auger thinks Varielky can hold out fine on her own until he sees the Seneschal's furious attack. The glaive flashes into her with what momentarily appears to be a killing blow. Granophyre's quick action allays that fear but then Auger sees the Lord eyeing Granophyre. Auger decides to strike now before the Lord can attack the old dwarf.
Auger reaches into the Sea of Stars and is surprised to see a figure already there. It is himself he realizes. Also there. Also reaching. He locks eyes with himself for a moment and shares a thought with the vision. 'How odd' they think as one. 'But yes, if we work together we can...' As he --now they -- as they form his twisting energies to send a pair of beams into the Seneschal, they find themselves simultaneously doing it again, releasing a second pair of beams. Shattering his invisibility in the process, a total of 4 beams are fired off in this fashion, each of them a searing beam of aqua surrounded by a spiraling purple energy that uncoils and pushes on impact. Hoping this would be enough, Auger attempts to drive the Lord out, breaking through the stained glass window, to fall through the storm to the ground below.
Details:
Status: Concentrating on invisibility so assuming Advantage on the first beam. Holding one Inspiration die (Snow!) and Blessed (Granophyre!). Also still holding Inspiration from the Darkness move down in the dungeon.
Bonus Action: Spend 2 sorcery points to Quicken Eldritch Blast with 10' of pushing on a hit.
Beam 1, with advantage. Roll = 28 +3 (for Bless). So a 31 for 8 points of damage. This should push the Seneschal back to the window.
Beam 2. Roll = 12 +1 (for Bless) +5 (for Bardic Inspiration). So 18. A possible miss but damage is 14 just in case. This could possibly send The Lord through the window.
QUICKENED SPELL When you cast a spell that has a casting time of 1 action, you can spend 2 sorcery points to change the casting time to 1 bonus action for this casting.
Move: If the Lord is perchance through the window, holding on to something outside or even falling in the air, Auger will move up to U2 to maintain a firing angle on him. If he is instead holding on at the window, still presenting as a viewable target, Auger will not move.
Action: Cast Eldritch Blast with 10' of pushing on a hit.
Beam 3. Roll = 28 +2 (for Bless). So a 30 for 7 points of damage. This could possibly send The Lord through the window.
Beam 4. Roll = 19 +3 (for Bless). So a 22 for 6 points of damage. This could possibly send The Lord through the window.
Final Status: Visible. No concentration. No Bardic Inspiration. Still Blessed. Still holding general Inspiration.
Snow hears the Lady talking in a displeased manner, presumably to herself, and creeps a little forward hoping to hear more. Now she realised her goblins had been taken care of, maybe she would be disposed to talk. Either through her anger, or some level of respect for them. He can but hope.
He then hears Strewn call out Varielky’s name, followed by blasts of magic. He is caught for a moment in indecision. To go back or to distract the Lady. The Lord and Lady were individually powerful, if they acted together they would likely be impossible to handle. He decides to carry on and wait for the others to call for him if they need him.
Holding his violin in one hand as merely an object to focus his magic, rather than playing it, he points the bow down towards the great hall and whispers a message only she can hear.
“We could not allow your goblin horde to survive, their presence in the Vale is a danger to everyone. What were you and your Lord thinking, raising an army of such vile creatures?”.
Stealth: 6+5+10=21 Persuasion: 14+8=22
Concentration: Pass Without Trace, Approx 1 hour. Movement: 15ft down the stairs to get a little closer for hearing her rant before acting. Action: Cast Message Reaction:
If anyone attacks him that he can see or makes an ability check to his detriment he will use Cutting Words. Cutting Words: 2+2=4 “You have allied with goblins, you are cursed for all time. The good news is that won't last long”
Augers blasts the Seneschal three times, pushing him against the tall stained glass window with the first blast, crushing him into it with the second, its thin lead railings groaning and fine tendrils tracing through the glass, the third blast pushes him through, the storm raging outside and wind whipping inside, glass shards exploding into the darkness. But using his polearm, the Seneschal braces against the window frame and remains where he is. With each blast, bruises form on the fighter’s perfect body where Auger’s beams pile into him, but too, Tazellayt’s wild magic reflects back upon Auger, inflicting 3, 6, and 4HP force damage. However, the fourth blast does not have this effect. It strikes the Seneschal, who grits his teeth in pain, as there is a flash of lightning from outside, causing all to avert their eyes. As thunder crackles and slaps in its wake, Auger’s vision clears to see Tazellayt immediately in front of him, glaive swinging.
Downstairs, Snow hears the Lady’s voice whispering in his mind, sensuously, “I hear you, minstrel, but I see you not. ‘Tis a pity, for one so beautiful should not hide in the shadows.”
(OOC: It is now Varielky’s turn. Tazellayt is now at U7.)
(Sorry, but I'm going to be very busy for the next week amd a bit, and if I get time to post at night I'll surely be already exhausted. I'll try to post, but I can't promise I will. I don't mind if you bot Varielky for the moment, if I take too ling to post, though I hope you'd wait for me once combat is done, for Varielky still wants to answer Snow. Alternatively, we can do another "remembered conversation" about that.)
Though Granophyre's reaction is quick, Tazellayt's blow strikes so well it actually makes Varielky lose her consciousness for but a moment. That brief moment, though, is enough to make Varielky lose her concentration, and she is now no longer in the fighting state she was. Moreover, her muscles scream again, reminding her how unused they are to this special effort.
Most importantly, however, she lost. Despite her opponent's inability to focus on the fight, and even though she was helped by the others... she was simply no match for him, and he received no help from anyone. Varielky remains on her knees for one more second.
As she rises, Varielky sheathes her sword. She is done fighting this man, for now. Attacking a man after being defeated already, in a duel that's supposed to be as fair as the circumstances allowed, was a dishonourable sin she would not commit.
But then, he suddenly appears by Auger, and Varielky can't let him attack. On one hand, she cannot attack him, but on the other hand, she cannot let him kill everyone. A fight can be won without killing your opponents, too. Will everyone stop fighing because she asked them to? No. There was no chance of that happening, and more importantly, she couldn't bring herself to ask such a thing of anyone. Push Tazellayt away? Maybe, but chances were slim. Her arms were tired, and he was so big and strong... but maybe she could move Auger away from him.
Varielky begins to walk towards the two. But if she just pulls Auger away, Tazellayt might take the opportunity to attack them both together. She needs a distraction.
Varielky gets closer to the two. Does magic count as attacking? Most likely, but it's her best idea. She'll have to ask later, but now she had no time. ["Thor, may your might help me protect my allies."] Her prayer is quiet, barely heard as she barely uses any voice to express it. And yet, it is enough to make the enchanted armour release powerful energies, stored in it for who knows how long.
The blast might not be powerful enough to even move Tazellayt, most likely, but Varielky doesn't even wait to see what happens. She forces herself to run to close the distance to Auger, then grab him and after a brief "Trust me," fling him around her, then push him away. At the end of this manoeuvre, unless Auger tries to resist her, she should be standing between Auger and Tazellayt.
Status: No longer raging because of falling unconscious.
Move: Standing up, then to V-5.
BA: Casting Shatter through Thunder. 12 thunder damage, or half on a successful DC 18 Constitution save.
Move: To V-7.
Action: Attack, swapping attack #1 for a grapple to move Auger around her, then swapping attack #2 to shove him farther away. If all is legal (which I hope it is), Auger should end up at X-7.
(OOC: Firecat, understood. If you can post do. Let's say, after 48hours with no response I'll bot Varielky so don't sweat it.)
Round 5 results (continued)
As the storming rain whistles and blows into the broken window, Varielky comes within reach of the Seneschal’s polearm (5’ reach), and he whips it around behind him, striking her for 12HP damage, just as she releases a crashing noise from her brass breastplate, which shakes him mightily, and veins pulse in his forehead. But the blow was too much for the shield maiden and she falls once again, forfeiting her grappling actions this round.
Granophyre shouts, “Varielky, NO!,” and sends another healing vial for 10HP to the tottering shield-maiden, before stepping out of the Seneschal’s reach.
“I misjudged you. You are brave,” Tazellayt mumbles absently as Varielky totters, and then he turns back to Auger. “How about yer friend?” He slashes with his glaive, tremendous blows which are lost in the folds of the warlock’s magical robes, but when he suddenly closes to reverse and strike with the blunt end, it connects brusquely, doing 11HP damage (32 to hit).
Half-way down the stairs, Snow now hears a message from Lady Izzebudjin. Gently chiding, she replies to his question, “We don’t breed goblins, they are willing allies, traveler… Or were… The Great Hall is a mess… and good help is so hard to find these days…” Snow may respond without expending an action. He no longer hears her movement on the stairway.
Snow shakes his head as he hears the Lady’s words whispered in his mind. “Allies! To what purpose?! Your opium addiction has softened your brain, the goblins were spawning thousands more and planned to kill you both. We did you a service”, he replies just as he hears another shout from Strewn.
The fight above was still going on, and even with three against one, it appears to be going badly. He turns and moves quickly back up the stairs, being as quiet as possible aided by his stealth field.
Seeing the situation in the bed chamber, and knowing the Lady was out there somewhere, he decides to take a risk on a spell he has been working on. He closes the door to the stairwell quietly behind him and then drops the stealth field.
He then runs his bow across the strings of his violin, singing some words in Elvish as he does so. He draws on more arcane energy than he ever has before, building it in the void within the violin before pointing the bow at Lord Tazellayt. A stream of magical energy crosses the gap between them in a flash, as the transformative energy engulfs him.
Unless he can resist, The Lord will transform into a tortoise. If he does transform, Snow will warn the others not to harm it. “Be careful, kill it and he will transform back”.
Either way he whispers more words of power in Elvish and sends healing energy to Varielky.
Stealth: (17,19)+5+10 = 32[Disadvantage]/34 (moving at full speed doesn’t appear to effect stealth during combat from what I can find online, but rolled disadvantage in case you rule that).
Concentration (Start of turn): Pass Without Trace, Approx 1 hour. Movement: 30ft up the stairs back into the corridor, standing by the door to the stairs. Interact: Close the door to the stairwell and stand block it from opening. Action: Cast Polymorph on Lord Tazellayt, DC 18 Wis save or be turned into a tortoise. I couldn’t find stats on DnD Beyond itself but wanted something that was very slow, had only a single Hit Point and couldn’t attack. Bonus Action: Healing Word, 1+5 =6for Varielky. (Strike this, can't cast two spells in a turn) Concentration (End of turn): Polymorph, 1 hour. Reaction:
If anyone attacks him that he can see or makes an ability check (specifically Counterspell or Dispel Magic if applicable) to his detriment he will use Cutting Words. Cutting Words: 8+2=10 “You have allied with goblins, you are cursed for all time. The good news is that won't last long"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Round 6 results (partial)
Snow points his bow at Tazellayt, and (saving throw: 20, crit! But he’s at disadvantage due to opium, so 2nd roll: only a 12) the Jlasi transforms into a tortoise! But not before his instinctive Wild Magic reacts. A bolt of white light shoots from the Seneschal as he shrinks to tortoise size hitting the bard in the face. Snow, make a CON 16 save or be blinded and suffer 4 radiant damage.
Snow feels the transformation take hold, but gets taken completely by surprise when the beam of light strikes out at him. He grits his teeth and closes his eyes just in time to avoid the effects of the light!
The Lord suddenly appears in front of him and Auger cannot understand how it happened. Blows rain down upon him but his spinning cloak protects him again and again until the blunt end of the glaive strikes him directly in the gut. Bent over and momentarily turned away, Auger misses Snow's action almost entirely. He hears the strange melody from Snow's violin and some words he does not understand but Auger cannot concentrate on that, this Lord must meet his end. Seeking to gather his energies into another attack, Auger turns to look at a Lord... who is no longer there. Thinking the Lord had suddenly transported himself again, Auger whirls about in place, facing the bed, then the wall and windows behind him to not be caught from behind before his eyes find the strange shelled-creature at his feet. Only then does Auger process Snow's words. Carefully he backs up but not quite trusting what is going on, he re-gathers his energies into himself while he steps away from the creature and to the others.
Finally fully processing what Snow has done he says out loud to Snow, "And where is the Lady? Is she also...?"Auger motions towards the Lord Seneschal Tortoise.

He combines the four lights into a pair and then, reaching again through the Diadem, empowers them with the same radiant energy as the bolt. He then sends both of these slow moving radiant lights into the Lady.

You are now situated like so. The F indicates the Lady’s last known position.

Cutting Words: 8+2=10

Round 3 results

(Sometimes, the dice just love you, and though it makes a lot of sense, it feels anti-climatic following a turn the enemy wasted.)

Varielky

Either way he whispers more words of power in Elvish and sends healing energy to Varielky.Stealth: (17,19)+5+10 = 32[Disadvantage]/34 (moving at full speed doesn’t appear to effect stealth during combat from what I can find online, but rolled disadvantage in case you rule that).

Saving Throw: Nat 20! Total of 22 :-)
The Lord suddenly appears in front of him and Auger cannot understand how it happened.
Is she also...?" Auger motions towards the Lord Seneschal Tortoise.
