((Nature? He's no dummy, but not nearly as smart as he is observant, only a +2 for INT checks, but has that +7 to Perception and Survival. LMK if you want it rolled fresh?))
I apologize, it's survival. And you have the same modifier? That's fine then - sorry about the confusion.
You do not notice much around the house and the surrounding area. But just when you're about to give up the search, you see very few tracks that appear to match up with the odd looking feet of the meenlock... heading towards the mine.
"I'm with Tastie. I'd like to drop these flowers off before heading to the mine." Gabin pulls out the flowers he had purchased from town. A little crumpled and wilted, they are looking worse for wear. Looking at their sorry state, Gabin rubs his thumb and forefinger together and then pinches the base of the stem lightly. The flowers perk up as his healing hand sends it's energy through them. "We don't know if we'll get another chance," Gabin explains. "Some of us can check out a few more of the buildings along the way to see if we make another lucky find like Lanky yesterday, or we can just try to make it quick, Straight there and straight back."
“Um…if you want my opinion I think we should head to the mines first…so that er we don’t have to sleep here as much as we can…and um I would really like to get bsck at them for messing with ue. If that um okay with you guys.”
Remi nods and says “To the mine, I agree. If we see anything on the way we can look into it, but we need to get to the source of this thing and pull it out by the roots.”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
She nods sadly and adjusts her flower but nods in assent to the will of the group. Maybe on our way out then, if we get out, she thinks to herself remembering her own fitful nightmare sleep...
As Gabin acquiesces to the groups desire, he notices Tastie adjusting her flower hairpiece. It has since wilted a bit and drooped, so he walks over and touches it as well, giving it back the life it had lost over the course of time since meeting the florist. That seems like a lifetime ago, yet here they stand, ready to face the mines. The start, the beginning of the nightmares.
You all leave the town behind as you head NW towards the mouth of the cavern, knowing where it is located thanks to Echo and Amara. The entrance is about 10 feet wide, what order do you want to be in as you enter?
((E'lar would be towards the front, but not as a scout. If someone is sneaking in, he'll hold back behind them. He's more of a front line defender, given his AC and propensity for bashing things. But he's also a touch faster, and can bring the healing if there is a scout and they get into trouble. He'll go ahead and keep casting shillelagh on his club to have it ready.))

A gaping hole in the mountainside northeast of the village marks the entrance to the platinum mine. Several carts sit outside the cavern. One is filled with rock and dirt pulled from the mine, the others piled with large beams of wood—new supports that were never installed after the collapse.
The mine is dark and damp, and you hear the sound of dripping water echoing from deep within. The light fades faster than it should as you move deeper, until you’re wrapped in oppressive gloom and shadow. The first 30 feet inside the mine are dimly lit, and once beyond 30 feet the adventurers are in darkness. Cart wheels have carved shallow ruts in the dirt floor leading to the back of the mine, where the cave-in was never fully excavated.
Each of you who enter the mine must roll a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw...
Elirion pauses briefly to let her eyes adjust, then pulls her cloak around her and moves forward cautiously. She is content to walk in the middle of the group, her hand gripping her bow tightly.
Wisdom: 18 (add 54 if it fails and would make a difference)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Remi moves toward the front and moves into stealth mode, moving quietly. “Did anyone else feel a cold chill? This place creeps me out.” Great! After we clean out these creepy bastards.
Wisdom save : 15
Stealth : 19

Elirion takes a deep breath and stands a little straighter as E'lar's spell takes affect. Her past adventures had left her stronger and faster but at the cost of her overall fitness; his spell reminded her of her old, fitter, self. With a nod of thanks, she continues up the corridor with the others, Arara resting but wary on her shoulder.
(( @DM: Just in case it makes a difference, Arara has 120' darkvision and passive perception (sight, sound) of 18 which would only be 13 if in total darkness ))

E'lar gives a tired sigh.
"Figured they are in the mine... tracks head that way."
"Anything else to check here?"

Lanky will also be up front to help protect the others in the group.
Gabin's posture has a noticeable slouch compared to when the group first set out, and he takes up a position near the rear (second to last).

E'lar gestures and calls out briefly in elvish, and Remi, Gabin, and Elirion feel a bit heartier.
