Ranlooks around the fighting pit. It is starkly barren but for the bloodstains.
Taking the first step out into the chamber, there is a loud 'clunk' and the floor settles lower, by perhaps an inch. A rattling, cranking sound emerges from the hallway across the pit, and then almost immediately four figures emerge from the darkness. The things look like tall Chultan Gladiators made of painted clay. These golem-like creatures each carry a shimmering bronze spear in one hand and a wooden shield in the other.
They tap their spears on their shields and assume an offensive posture, advancing toward Ran...

Ran looks at Mica and shrugs "Seems about right."
He then charges forward to give Mica's bow room to work, and to hopefully bottle the other clay gladiators up in the hallway before the first one. His blades whirl into motion as he attacks.
Needing to keep the lights going for Mica and Ran, Nalomanterys opts for a less powerful spell that won't strain his concentration. He nudges a small rock into the pit and mid-fall he enchants it with sudden momentum, hoping to shatter the first of these clay golems.
BA: he moves the dancing lights into a straight, horizontal (on the map) line to illuminate his allies and further into the corridor of enemies. The light can reach a maximum of 80 ft (4 lights with a 10 ft radius each)

Ranmoves forward, his blades whirling and slicing into the clay golem, carving gouges in its surface and cutting off chunks. The warrior construct does parryaway one of his attacks [the off-hand attack for 19to hit] with its shimmering bronze spear, but all the other blows land. Still, despite appearing to have done a great deal of damage, Ranwasn't able to fell the Clay Gladiator.
As Nalomanterys' rock sails into their midst, the first golem ducks to the left, and the one behind it ducks to the right. Then, somewhere behind them in the gloom, there is a solid 'thunk.' As Nalomanterysmoves his lights down the hall, you see his stone lodged deeply into the clay forehead of a third golem.
Danica, Meili and Mica are still up!

The arena was not big enough for several fighters, and Mica blocked the entrance anyway. Meili tried her luck from the above following Nalomanterys. The boomerang slipped into her hand as if by itself.
Hearing some commotion, the sailor steps up forward to the mouth of the pit. Seeing the constructed warriors advance on Ran and Mica below, Danica grumbled, "Like poison gas wasn't enough of a concern." The distance, awkward angle and proximity to her crew meant that using magic wasn't a great idea. So taking out her longbow and notching an arrow, the elf looked for the best opportunity to strike before letting it fly into the golem that was still up closest to Ran. It was the one she had the clearest shot and could see the easiest thanks to Nalomanterys' lights. "Whittle 'em down." She barks down into the pit, "Ran, Mica, try and hold the stairs n keep 'em there and we'll help from above!" Not sparing a glance at her companions she says in regular volume, "I assume you two more magically inclined can block the way if they need to fall back?"
Movement: Forward 10 feet to pit. Action: Attack with Longbow (20 to Hit, 8 Damage). Bonus Action: None.

As Ran moves forward into the arena and closes with the new arrivals, Mica hesitates on the threshold of the doorway. Deciding to remain in the hallway for now, Mica calls out in support of Ran “Keep ‘em bottled up in the hallway” Mica raises his bow and sends two arrows toward the lead gladiator.
Danicaand Micaboth manage to sink arrows into the lead Clay Gladiator, but the construct is able to duck away from both of Meili'sattacks.
Upstairs, Eligos looks out the open door of the shrine, then back down into the pit, and sighs. He raises a hand and from within his robes and then points down into the pit. "Szenved a villámomtól," he coughs out, and there is blinding flash and deafening roar as a bolt of lightning erupts from his hand and arcs down toward the golems. Ranfeels his hair stand on end and gags on ozone, but the electricity seems to part around him, licking at his blades but leaving him unharmed. The two nearest Clay Gladiators dodge the worst effects of the bolt, but the golem at the back [the same one unable to dodge Nalomanterys' stone] absorbs the full brunt of the spell. The hallway before ran is left scorched and smoking, but still the Clay Gladiators advance.
Emerging into the fighting pit one by one, they move to surround Ran, two of them striking out again and again with their spears.

When the golem straight in front of him misses, Ran uses his reaction to quickly swing Gambit around in an arc and slash back out.
(Reaction - Riposte - (6+9) = 15 to hit for (8+6 + 1 from Superiority Die) = 15 magical slashing damage
But then the third one knocks him prone to the ground (Ran's STR Save - 10).
The onslaught leaves Ran gasping and bleeding heavily. Before he stands back up, he takes a deep breath and steals himself for what may come next (Bonus Action - Second Wind - Heals (1+6) = 7 HP).
He then slashes out twice with Gambit, once at the golem in front of him and once at the one that knocked him prone, trying to trip them both and knock them prone (Trip Attack on both attacks).

Nalomanterys pulls a loop of old, dead, brittle jungle vine from one of his pouches. He unravels it down the grate over the head of Ran and yells "Desseco!"wither and bloom rank 2. Meiliis easily able to slip through the bars and drop down to the lower level, as graceful as a cat.
It is a flurry of spears and axes, fists and swords, with Mica, Ranand Meilidiving into close quarters combat with the Golems. The Clay Gladiators manage to parry some of Meiliand Mica'sattacks, and they seem to shrug off the worst of Nalomanterys' spell, but Ransucceeds in tripping two of them [top red golem and center/left golem are prone].
Eligos frowns as he looks down into the pit. "I'm not sure how much more spell power we should commit to this...". he says, perhaps to Nalomanterys, perhaps to himself. He points a finger down into the hole, casting fire bolt at the most badly wounded, prone golem.
Fire Bolt: 23 Fire Damage: 10
This seems to be the last straw, as the most badly wounded golem melts away into a puddle of clay and then vanishes. Its bronze spear rattles to the floor in the corner of the fighting pit.

Danica focuses on watching how the golems and the two men below were moving but was distracted when Meili suddenly joined them. Not expecting such a feat of acrobatics, she misfires her bow and instead of firing the arrow through the bars, it hits one of them, causing the arrow to ricochet and narrowly avoiding hitting herself or the two spellcasters with her.
