Mica, go ahead and reroll your attacks... if either hit we can apply that damage to the middle golem. ]

Any relief Mica had when the first golem fell under a flash of fire from above was quickly dashed when the fourth golem emerged from the tunnel, attacking with his spear. Mica knocked away the first thrust with his hand axe but was not quick enough to avoid the following strikes. Drawing his second axe, Mica responded with a flurry of slashes across the golem’s body.

Ran feels the energy draining from his body almost as quickly as the blood does from these last two hits. Where he might have been able to take advantage of the miss, he just doesn't have anything left in the tank (2hp). If these creatures kept coming he wasn't sure if he'd be around to see the end of them.
Regardless, he could back off now and let Mica or Meili have their flanks exposed.
He lashes out quickly at the golem in front of him, hoping it's weaker than it looks.

Ran was almost the colour of the clay but not attacking a golem in front of the group meant only more attacks - now fatal.

Meilipunches and kicks the golem in front of Ran, trying to wear it down first, but even her supernaturally charged blows do little more than leave soft dents in its hard clay body. She puts an extra bit behind her last attack, but the Clay Gladiator parries the fist away with the haft of its spear.
Upstairs, Eligos sneers. He pulls out his diamond again and holds it out in front of him. "I don't fancy the idea of being stuck in this ruined city with no clear objective, and most of my spell power exhausted,"he complains. Adding with a mutter, "... All for an ill-advised sparring session with animated training dummies...". A ray of light from outside finds his diamond, and a prism of blue light extends down toward the weakest looking golem. It spreads out into an orb of crackling blue lightning, but the golem merely ducks out of the way, and it crackles harmlessly into the stone wall behind it. "Damn it all!"Eligos exclaims, exasperated.
