Ward leans over to wherever he hears Shavaris and nods. "We can work with that." Then to the whole Dawn Guard on stage. "Close your eyes." Ward says before pulling The Worm out of his pouch. "THESE ARE OUR ALLIES AGAINST BLIX AND THE DARKNESS! VETERANS OF THE NINE HELLS AND BATTLES UNTOLD. PEOPLE OF THE LABYRINTH AND FROM OUTSIDE OF IT. JOIN US AGAINST BLIX AND THE DARKNESS HE EMPOWERS WITH HIS RECKLESS ACTION. JOIN US IN FREEING THIS PLACE FROM HIS TYRANNY." Ward yells into the microphone as he holds up The Worm in one hand, a blinding white light emanating from The Worm.
Travin looks to Shavaris, he stopped singing a little while ago to let Ward and Kerwyn do their thing, he simply stands on stage eating a stolen slice of melon, bobbing his head to the music, with a big old smile in his face. Shavaris feels a telltale prickle down her neck as a voice enters her mind,
"it matters not the origin of these people, they are Travin's people now and may choose to fight alongside Travin, yeh yeh!, If they choose not to so be it. The dawn guard will do what it must here and move on to defeat Blix with or without them. Hmmm?"
With that done he raises his pipe to his lips and keeps the best going, casting a glance momentarily at the dead guy drained if blood in the floor.
Johnathan stops crying as the sister and whispers to Shavaris. It’s me Shavaris. I’m sorry I had to go this far, it was the only way to snap you out of it. I’ll explain more once we deal with this mess. Johnathan then changes himself into his lord form and starts blending into the crowd and watches as everything starts to fall apart. He sees Ward and Kerwyn rush the stage and start making long speeches. But that’s alright, it’s a great distraction. When the worm tries to speak in Johnathan’s mind his ring prevents the communication so he doesn’t notice the worm and it’s madness. Johnathan didn’t hear what Blix said to Delphinium completely but it’s obvious their cover is blown. Johnathan gets closer to Blix and has a look to see if the alicorn is displayed on his person.
Perception: 3.
Johnathan doesn’t manage to see Blix clearly with all the people in the way. He just gets ready for when things are about to heat up.
Delph listens to all the people talking as they stare down Blix. The fairy doesn't seem phased....at least not until they hear the worm talking. A bit of a twitch but Delph knows that only their proximity and ability to grab the alicorn is the only thing keeping the weapon at bay. This was a battle of words and Blix was the first to surrender rhyme to Delph. A show of weakness to a fey. A sign that words are not their strength. Delphinium desperately wants to look behind them but they stay focused on the ones here. They can hear their friends behind them talking and convincing the crowd. Delph also hears the amazing music being played by Kerwyn. Delph can see that Blix has no interest or love for anyone here. They are mad. The fairy can't simply punch them, at least not yet. The leaders, the ones trying to earn the favor of Blix were the ones that needed to be won over. Without them, no one would need to die. The Alicorn could be taken and the goblins would look to someone else to lead. Delphinium then had one problem, who would lead them if not Blix? If they don't like Jereth? Someone needs to take their place. Delph really hopes they don't regret the next idea that popped into their head.
"You already show weakness of mind as you stop and lack continuance to rhyme,
You talk offers of peace but you offer only to hide, the promise you offer is a prison of time.
I can see what you plan, a place to enrapture, enchant and ensnare,
You see not a kingdom nor goblins nor lands, this is your plan for the labyrinth fare."
Delphinium begins to gesture to the others that Blix has gathered here. The Fairy knows they are the key. It sounds like their friends might be winning over the crowd but the goblins seem to want a leader and perhaps if Delphinium can reach them then the fairy might be able to not only stop Blix, retrieve the alicorn and restore some semblance of order but maybe even gain some new friends.
"Look at the others you seem to have gathered,
They asked you for things and what did you do?
You told them your plans and never did listen,
Lord Blix does not care for others who mattered.
I was hearing you but I heard them too,
You show no respect and never once enrich them."
The fairy turns to the other leaders and bows to them to show respect. They seem interested in the other goblin leaders and say quite kindly and plainly now that Delphinium has proven that they were the better at rhyming. The fairy talks in earnest to the other leaders. Delph might be in for more then they want but leading a nation of goblins can't be that hard right?
"Good lords from afar. I address you and not a thief of power for they only hold sway for holding an item. I can take it back, Blix knows this is true. I'm a pure being of truth and life and the alicorn they hold wants to return to the light. Do you really think Blix will honor a deal? He's not even fey and lies through their teeth. I know little of your history. I know not your wants. Tell me good lords, what do you want? Does Blix seem a better king then the one before? What do you want from a lord on a throne? I will listen to you. I cannot make promises without knowing all your wishes but I can always listen to your heart's desire. With the alicorn in my hand I can promise one thing. If you follow me I can make a better way for all of the goblins, the labyrinth and all who will join me."
Lazarus, having donned a silly porcine mask over his Mando-helmet, blindly made his way into the chaotic scene. He looked for the majority of the group and flocked over to them when he saw two of them embracing.
Perhaps this party is not what it seems? That tracks with Jareth, but who is this Blix, now? Also, Shavaris, are you alright? What... What exactly is going on here?
The Kobold-Mando stood his guard over Ward and Shavaris, keeping an eye out on this Blix and the rest of the party. He wouldn't lose these companions like his family.
Some of the people, probably mostly those who haven't imbibed in the food or drink spiked by Ward's, begin to look confused and slowly start filtering out of the room. Perhaps a quarter leave, so most of the party remains behind. These remnants are still confused, trying to decipher what is happening. Some bounce as if commanded in front of the stage. Some stand around and look lost, looking around the room, looking at Delphinium, looking at Ward and Kerwyn.
They begin to murmur.
"Fight?"
"Who are we fighting?"
The band watches this change in the situation and, now that their stage isn't really hijacked...save for the wackos trying to insight a riot....Blothor raises his mike and shouts something about a ballroom blitz...
A guitar riff rips...
Blix never takes his eyes off of Delphinium. He keeps backing away, an evil snarl, or grin, on his face. His fingers dance along the front of his overcoat as if he wishes to reach inside.
"Weakness, weakness, for failing to rhyme... ...though I admit, all this power, all this worship, is quite sublime... ...and while your measure may be close, may be just and true... ...this throne I have claimed, this place I've conquered, after my coup... ...and you preach on peace, and sate your self righteousness on grandiose visions of power for good... ...if a throne you seek, if power you wish and alicorn you desire, then you'd take it if you could."
The goblin stops as he runs out of places to retreat to. The grin fades. A grim determinism screws his face into a hardened, green brick. Blix pushes the tails of his overcoat aside like a gunslinger may do, preparing for battle. He stills, save for his mouth.
The tune of Ballroom Blitz plays louder.
The mosh pit resumes.
"Most dangerous is an animal when it's in a corner... ...and should you come any closer, many in this room will need...a coroner."
The worm, or rather its pupil form, begins to flash brilliantly as Ward lifts it into the air. The flashing is sudden and brilliant. Most of the room is suddenly blinded by its radiance. Blix throws his arm up in time to block the flashing from blinding him as well...and his eyes settle on something behind Delphinium.
"Blix." Sarah says from behind the Fairy as she begins trying to make her way closer, and keeping behind Delphinium for the moment. "Please. We can put an end to this. It doesn't have to be this way."
For its part, the worm remains oblivious and uncaring to the mortal dramas unfolding around it. The pupa begins to break open as ornate wings emerge and reach into the air. Thunder rumbles ominously in the background...
Delphinium doesn't let Blix have the space he wants and keeps pace with him always keeping him within reach. Never giving the goblin leader a chance to use the alicorn without a chance for the fairy to grab it before they can do anything with it. Delph notices their jerky movement towards their coat and Delph knows the powerful artifact is somewhere on their person but they have been unable to locate it. The heavy overcoat doing well to conceal what lies beneath and prevent Delph from acting but at the same time Blix can't either for the goblin seems to know that Delph will instantly grab the weapon he pulls out. Delph is not swayed by the goblin's threats as the fairy knows that giving the goblins a chance to use the alicorn would certainly spell the dawn guard's doom.
The fairy smiles as the goblin which is easily 4 to 5 times bigger then Delph backs away. The goblins with a powerful artifact and sitting on a throne seems scared. The powerful Blix with all their strength is shown that even small things can be a threat. Delphinium loves that fear. They love showing the bigger and more powerful beings that they are never as safe as they want. That tiny things can take them down if they are not kind to others. Delph loves the ryhmes and poetry being used at this time as they continue to pressure the goblin into their said corner. They restart their rhyming to reply to Blix. The have a sudden look of concern on their face as they listen to Blix finish their verse. With a quick wit and a floating tune the fairy looks at Blix as they say,
"You have it all wrong dear goblin Blix,
What I seek is the power to fix.
A throne, a crown, I would turn it all down,
if I knew my choice will not cause a frown.
I step up to this role for it seems it is needed,
a new fairy king when required may now be seated.
You say you are cornered but I seek you not,
Give up the horn and then run and begot.
I ask once again hand it to me with no tricks and no magic,
You will live another day and avoid something most tragic."
Almost as if timed the blinding light comes from behind Delphinium as he says the word "Tragic". The fairy insanely curious to know what is going on behind. Fearful that a dreaded worm might have returned and is causing death and destruction. They have to have faith that their allies are fighting it though. They have another large threat right in front of them and one that doesn't want to give up power. They don't need to give up their life though. Delph would spare them of course but the fairy knows their friends won't. This chance for the goblin to flee is all that the fairy can offer. Delph won't let them run with the alicorn though. Blix needs to give it to Delph before the fairy lets him go and the fairy is very ready for the goblin to try anything funny with it. They will not give Blix the chance to do anything sneaky as they watch them with a catlike unblinking stare that only a fey can do. Their massive astral arms out and about ready to pounce if needed. Delph ready to grab the alicorn. As long as it seems the goblin will give it up willingly Delph will take it and let them run once they are sure it is the real thing.
Delph hears the pleading of the unfamiliar woman known as Sarah. They have never heard her voice and cannot turn around to see who it is but they assumes its someone that knows Blix. "Please listen to your friend. I really, truly, seek not your end."
The pupa continues to crack. Pieces of it fall to the floor in the blinding, flashing radiance as Ballroom Blitz threatens to blow the roof off the place and the crowd gets rowdier and rowdier. A veritable ruckus is raised. A rumble begins like the worm or...whatever the worm has become...is about to speak...
Blix doesn't listen to his 'friend'. He snarls.
Instead, he draws a Blowdart Gun in one hand...and the Alicorn in the other...preparing to fight.
Delphinium isn't surprised and instantly grabs for the alicorn. Having been ready for it for quite some time. The tension tight and palpable. The action held ready since they began their dance of words. The only questions remaining are who will be faster, who will have a better grip. The fairy knows the goblin king will attack Delph with that blow dart after they grab the alicorn but it is all they can do to prevent the goblin from using it's magic and causing far more harm. Delphinium knows that blowdart is extremely deadly and likely aimed at them after they grab the alicorn but even if Delph falls, they will at least get the horn out of their hands. Delphinium focuses their astral might into their small form to grab with far more strength then the goblin was likely expecting. Blue astral energy enhancing their ability to grab as they grab not only with form but with the strength of their spirit as well and Delph has a lot of spirit! The tiny fairy suddenly dives after the alicorn in Blix's hand as a blur of blue light.
Blix sneers are Delphinium hits for the Alicorn and wrenches it away with a surprising bit of savage, wiry strength. The Goblin begins to turn black in Delphinium's face...and starts breaking apart into blocks...blocks that float up into the air and disperse...
He suddenly rematerializes on the far side of the room from Delphinium, a good 80 feet away, cackling laughter.
Teleporting away is very annoying but luckily delphinium is very fast and can at least get in to harry them if they try to make any kind of ranged attack. Zooming as a bright blue dot in the room they zip across not giving the goblin a chance. As they turn to find them they see the horror of what else is going on and really doesn't know what to make of it all. The tiny fairy realizes that the others are dealing with the death worm but now its transforming into something far more horrible, although delph thinks the wings are pretty they know its going to be something evil soon emerging. Delphinium is going to keep on top of blix though. They fly as fast as they can and even propel their wings with astral energy to get right back up to Blix with a smile as they say "Not far enough Blix! I am fey! Give me that alicorn!" at the same time they make fresh attempts to grab that alicorn.

Blix snarls again as Delphinium appears in his face. The Goblin garbles something incomprehensible as it struggles to keep the alicorn the first time and barely succeeds, then jerks away and puts his own body between Delph and the horn. Gold sparkles fall over his body, and when he speaks it seems to reverberate off the roof. It's even louder than the band playing Ballroom Blix.
"A good try, but not enough! And wait until you see that I've made them buff!"
The rumble outside reverberates through the building. The band looks around but keeps playing. They seem to be having a hell of a good time.
Blix breaks apart again...and rematerializes in the far nothern corner of the room, away from Delphinium. He's about 40 feet to the left of the stage.

Kerwyn takes flight, exiting stage left. He moves forward 20 feet, hovers long enough to throw his glaive twice at Blix, then lowers to the ground, in the crowd.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
The glaive sinks into Blix twice. The Goblin screams, casting a hateful glance at Kerwyn.
"You shall drop like a rock!" He screams. Gold power glitters around his body...and Kerwyn hits the floor, incapacitated. Blix voice thunders from the roof overhead.
Sarah sees the violence break out and ducks down amidst the rabble, trying to make her way back toward the Dawn Guard.
There is a tremendous thump on one of the walls next to the stage. The band, of course, never misses a beat in playing "Ballroom Blix", but they do at least turn their attention toward the noise and watch as the wall crumbles and then explodes inwards. Two hulking red trolls, much bigger than the members of the Dawn Guard, standing some 9 feet tall and broadly built, stroll into the ball like they own the place. Another waits outside to enter.
"When the sun goes down..." One of the huge trolls says.
"And the bats are back to bed..." Another says.
The first two of the three large trolls strut into the hall...and one of them throws a Fireball into the crowd. There's an explosion and many of the people in the crowd are tossed aside, a great number killed, and several of the Dawn Guard caught in the explosion. The second of the trolls begins battering its way through the screaming moshers. The band...never stops playing.
Blix raises the Alicorn and points it toward Kerwyn's position in the crowd while holding the bleeding wounds on his chest...then sneers, and turns his eyes toward Delphinium instead.
"Oh Little Fairy, how you were wrong... ....thinking you could step in....and quiet my song... ....but you should think about, during the clicking of the clock... ...this little fact that may come as a SHOCK!"
There are sparks from the alicorn...but instead an extremely loud ringing shatters the air around Delphinium...
Blix, seeing that the Fairy is hurt, begins to break apart again...and then disappears from the ballroom.
Ward has a sixth sense as the fireball flies towards him. Stepping to the side and planting down his staff as the fire passes over him. Yelling towards the direction he believes the trolls are. "FACE SOMETHING THAT BITES BACK COWARD." Ward yells, the air around him shifting as at below the stage 8 giant poison snakes appear. "Go after the closest one of the large things attacking us." Ward commands the snakes. As a bonus action he then takes three rocks from his pocket and casts magic stone on them, moving to the front of the stage and pointing his staff towards them. "COME AND GET IT BEAST. IRONSIDES, RUNNING BIRD, JOIN THE FIGHT" Ward yells at the trolls.
The flames of the fire ball wash over Travin like a wave of inferno, leaving him scorched and covered in soot from head to toe, blackening the entirety of his front side. He reaches up and clears his two circular goggle lenses before lifting his pipes back to his lips.
With an intrusive trill here and there he punctuates the music, bounding and exciting the events of the violence, "doot doot doot!, ...and the man at the back said everyone attack! It'll turn into a ballroom Blitz!". With the choral line screamed out Trav gets within range and points a finger up at the one uninjured troll within the ballroom, weaving fierce magics into his words and doots, he casts Crown of Madness hoping to have the one troll begin attacking the other.
Making his way back to the stage, Trav continues his assistance with the group and the band, "...And the man in the back is ready to crack As he raises his hands to the sky, And the girl in the corner is everyone's mourner She could kill you with a wink of her eye, YEH! YEH!! YEH!!!" He points a finger to Delph momentarily catching their attention and giving bardic inspiration (1d8), but as Trav sings about the girl in the corner, his finger moves and he points out to Delph the location of Sarah hiding in the chaos. He gives a wink.
The Troll that is suddenly overcome with the Crown of Madness utters some faintly musical lyrics.
"The brothers come 'round..." It says dumbly as it suddenly feels compelled to attack one of its friends. It lurches forward, sinking its teeth into the shoulder of one of its compatriots and biting down. Its claws reach out, raking the meat of the other trolls chest and belly. Blood, burning blood, oozes out and drips onto the floor, creating a puddle of bubbling fire. It splatters everywhere, setting clothes alight around the troll...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Shavaris watches the chaos unfold as the trolls knock down the wall and attack everyone in the room. As Ward brings the snakes and Travin gets one to actually turn against the other, she looks to the crowd, the ones still standing around. Her face and clothes covered in the blood from the man she killed, she screams at them, "GET OUT!! GO NOW, WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!"
Turning back towards the trolls, she runs at the now bleeding one, careful on what she steps on and flanks him from behind. Using her rapiers, she attempts to plunge them in his back.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As she plunges her rapiers into the troll, those watching see a ghost like figure that resembles Shavaris leave her body and float over to the troll that is not currently under the crown of madness spell. Necrotic damage inflicts the troll - 5
She then uses her action surge to hit the troll again...
Attack: 24 Damage: 11

19 to grapple Alicorn. 23 initiative.
Something rumbles outside.

Actions:
Move: fly 40 feet.
Bonus action: step of the wind for bonus dash fly 40 feet 1 ki point,.
Action - 2 attacks: Trading attacks in for grapples for the alicorn. If they get the alicorn with first attempt they attack with a punch on second attack instead.
First attempt to take alicorn: 19
Second Attempt to take alicorn: 13
alternate attack on success of getting alicorn: Astral fist 9 for 6 force damage plus Blix makes a con save dc 17 or is stunned 1 ki point if used on hit.

Thrown glaive 1 : Attack: 27 Damage: 11
Thrown glaive 2 : Attack: 25 Damage: 9

Kerwyn is lying on the floor, drooling and shivering, thinks “Where the hell is my Auryn medallion? Sh-sh-Shavaris!”
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Making his way back to the stage, Trav continues his assistance with the group and the band, "...And the man in the back is ready to crack
As he raises his hands to the sky,
And the girl in the corner is everyone's mourner
She could kill you with a wink of her eye, YEH!

Attack: 23 Damage: 10
Attack: 27 Damage: 9
Sneak attack damage: 7
As she plunges her rapiers into the troll, those watching see a ghost like figure that resembles Shavaris leave her body and float over to the troll that is not currently under the crown of madness spell. Necrotic damage inflicts the troll - 5
She then uses her action surge to hit the troll again...
Attack: 24 Damage: 11
