Delph having a worm in tow sets the worm on the talking junk pile and asks Shavaris "There's a fairy, worm, and fox issue? I bet you us three would be the best for helping with that!" Delph smiles all proud and ready to assist. They then look at the storm and cast a simple magic that puts them in tune with the nature around them giving them an idea of how the weather will be. They internalize that and then continue to talk with Travin "Hello Travin. Just one of the names is fine by me! You have an interesting way to talk! Or do you prefer odd? I think Jerath is fine. Sir Didymus vouched for him and he's a knight! Owns land and everything so not a fake knight. I can't wait to see them fight! We are going to beat up all the goblins and rescue the unicorn! Or at least find out where the unicorn is." Delph flies up a little bit but with the storm moving in the fairy senses the wind may be too strong and they don't go above the maze walls. They float back down and seem a bit worried "Umm, the storm is getting close. I don't like windy storms. Of course if we need to continue through the storm I will brave the treacherous winds with you! I'm not afraid at all!"
At the reassurance of the group, Travin slowly pokes his head out from under his pile, he doesn't notice the placement of the worm upon his chair, as he turns to face the where the majority of the group stand looking at the oncoming storm.
"Jonathan mmmh, Ward yes... this Jareth is not fine! dear, definitely not no threat! This Jareth is a tricksy king, not to be trusted... but previousking you say? yes? Dethroned? Usurped? Fallen?" His eyes flit about the members of the group with glee before landing on Jareth himself and immediately becoming livid, "GOOD! yeh yeh... Do you know how many years, decades, centuries! That we've been wandering the Junk Fields!?! We forget in there, hmmm, forget everything! No idea why I came to the labyrinth to start with, no? who I was before this, no! All of us the same in the fields!" At his anger fueled tirade Travin points a dirty little accusatory finger at Jareth as he hobbles toward the fallen king stopping just short of arms reach "You owe Travin a life back!... and and and many shiny things! yeh yeh yeh."
The junk person looks to be on the verge of tangible violence as they shake their pointed finger at Jareth in rage, and a desperate frustration, the drama of the scene is only punctuated further by the sporadic illumination of the lightning above, slowly growing in frequency.
Hoggle screws his face up and looks downright gobsmacked when Shavaris says 'stuck together'. He raises a fat little accusing finger and shakes it at her, exasperated.
"I ain't stuck with nobody! I don't care who's in charge of the Labyrinth!" Hoggle said.
"You probably should, Boggle." Jareth said as he stood. He backs away from Travin while glancing at the storm. "But, I must bid you all adieu for now. I shall see you soon."
And with that, Jareth stepped behind a nearby hedge with a flourish of his jacket.
Shavaris gives an exasperated sigh at Hoggle and his stubborn ways, she looks up at the sky, but isn't sure what to do about it. Doesn't look like she's getting through to this absurd little creature. Man, all of these new beings they have met since arriving... could they be any more different? She steps up to the big guy, "What about you? Ludo, is it? Do you know where we could find shelter from this storm?"
As Delph flitters around being well, themselves, Shavaris chuckles, thinking yeah, and the issue is you and your new friends. But decides against saying it out loud, there was enough tension in the air at the moment, no need to create more.
She takes a step back as their new acquaintance angrily attacks the goblin king. Listening to his words, if it is true, she doesn't blame him one bit, she wishes she could throw Jareth in these supposed Junk Fields. What in the world are they? She kinda hopes something happens between the two of them, thinking this should be interesting, but then the chicken king decides to go and hide.
Speaking of.. she decides to slowly follow this supposed king and see where he decided to head off to, maybe he knew of shelter? And she follows him to the nearby hedge and heads behind it as well.
Travin looks deflated as he turns back to the group. Looking between the remaining members, his goggles exaggerate his large eyes as they flit back and forth over the people in front of him, lingering a little too long at any shiny weapons or jewellery they might have about their person, he pipes up "you know the way out? yes? after you've rescued your unicorn and been to the castle? Hmmmmm? Travin needed to go to the castle for something long ago,yeh yeh yeh, can't remember, castle, castle hmmmm?" He trails off in mumbing thought and starts looking around himself once more, distracted by everything and nothing.
At this point those in the group get a good look at Travin as he turns about in his inattentiveness, His hooded robe that drapes over the majority of his actual body is covered in different coloured patches each depicting an item, most of the images have worn away but those that can be parsed out depict things like a dagger, a pole, or a lantern. The shaft of the blade turns out to be attached to a sheathed rapier and the shaft of the tool seems to be a heavy looking sledgehammer, the more one looks at this creature the more one might see, like some kind of puzzling illusion of a person.
Kerwyn is flabbergasted. He sees Ward bring out what appears to be a flask, and he goes over to join him. "Ward ole boy. Is that some whiskey or something nice like that in your flask? Because I need a drink right about now. Can I have a sip?" If it is offered to him, Kerwyn will take a smell and then a long drink if it is indeed alcohol.
"That's the only way I think I'll make it through this goddamn maze. Toasted. Maybe then all of this s*&^ will seem normal. Howsa bout that?" Kerwyn sits on Ole Ironsides, sulking in his "tent." And getting hammered, if able.
After a couple of pulls on the flask, Kerwyn waves hello to Travin, saying "Don't mind me. Jareth put me in a foul mood. As I suppose he did to you too. Any ideas people? How we are going to get away from this storm and through this f^&*ing maze?"
You see a 30ish year old grumpy man who is riding an angry, powerful looking flail snail named Old Ironsides. He has a thrown glaive at his side (think Krull) and great sword slung over his back. He is dashing, dextrous and quite strong, but not known for being eloquent or tactful, given to mansplaining things he doesn't understand.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Johnathan remains quiet as Jareth leaves. He wasn’t in the best mood since he arrived. Johnathan turns to the others, Well at least that guy is gone, I’m sure we will see him again. It was concerning to have Jareth nearby, he knew that he would betray us once Blix is defeated. The only reason he isn’t dead is because Hoggle would probably get mad and won’t guide us to the castle. When we get there I will be ready. No way that idiot is getting any sort of power over this land.
Johnathan wasn’t sure about Travis yet, this creature was strange and clearly had some hardship growing up. But it didn’t seem to be completely right in the head. At least he hates Jareth, I suppose that is enough for now. Johnathan looks to the skies ahead. There wasn’t much shelter nearby, and if the king of goblins can control this area it wasn’t going anytime soon. We have to move on, this storm is a defence from Blix. I think things are gonna get worse as we get closer to the castle. We don’t really have a choice do we?
Delphinium seems to be getting more and more nervous. Their tiny body zipping around as their bright blue outfit creates little streaks of blue when they fly at top speeds. They seem to be zipping back and forth in a nervous way. As others like Johnathan and kerwyn begin to add that we need to find cover or head for Blix Delphinium nods in agreement. "Yes, we should get going. We need to hurry if we are going to make it the castle! Come on! Lets go, lets go, lets go!" They keep looking up at the darkened sky and start trying to push whoever is the slowest. Considering Delph is a mere few inches tall this doesn't have much effect except letting the individual know they are very anxious to get going. Their simple, almost monastic style, clothes beginning to flutter from the wind and not just their rapidly flapping dragonfly like wings. The more frantic the fairy is getting the more they seem to begin to glow blue like a faint aura of a blue sphere appearing around and encompassing them.
Hoggle looks around as the flames lick up from a shrub burning nearby, the fire ignited by the bolt of golden lightning that had descended from overhead. Ludo's ears tilt down while the storm intensified, and Ambrosius, Sir Didymus's trusty steed, was shaking beneath his Lupine master as things got worse.
"Bah!" Hoggle said, tossing a hand toward the rest of the group and looking faux disgusted, like he wanted a reason to get to safety but was having trouble justifying it or something. "We'll have to go down into the catacombs below the Labyrinth! Follow me."
Wind tugged at the Dwarf's bushy eyebrows as he began an exaggerated scamper, moving past the hedges and heading down into a stone corridor leading away from the hedged courtyard where they had been resting.
"Oh dear...Din only knows what's down in there nowadays I haven't been in the catacombs in half a century..."
As the lightning strikes Travin jumps in shock, causing the worm on his seat to catch some air before landing safely back on his upholstered throne, "catacombs yeh yeh, better than here! , Ooooh! Sha-Va-Ris! Come come we move, leaving, yeh yeh" he calls out to the elf (elf?) as to make sure no one is left behind.
As they begin moving Travin pats his seat offering it to Delphinium should the fairy want to avoid flying in the winds, Travin also takes note, for the first time, of Ol' Ironsides and his face lights up. "Oooooooohhh, mmmmmh yeh yeh!" Walking close to the beast he pats the snails shell lovingly muttering something about a home on his back, and wondering whether it can retreat within its large spiralled shell..
Shavaris watches as the man flat disappears. Well, at least they don't have to deal with him for now. She hears the interesting new guy call for her, and she emerges from behind the shrubs. "Oh! We have a direction? Oh good! And Hoggle, you're going to help? Thank you!" She helps Kerwyn up from the ground and checks that Johnathan is coming as well and then follows the rest down to the catacombs, at least a little happy to get away from the storm, though a bit concerned what is going to be instore for them down here.
As soon as Travin touches Ol Ironsides, the snail begins to scintillate a flurry of colors, apparently put off by Travin's sudden advance and touch. Blinding flashes of light mix with the golden streaks of lightning overhead and the whole area is bathed in rainbow luminescence that was brighter than even the storm.
Ambrosius stops in his tracks, even while Sir Didymus kicked feebly at his haunches to make him go again, cursing him as a coward. Ludo raised his arm to block his eyes.
"Light...briiiiight!" He complained.
Hoggle turned, his eyes open in surprise, and watched the show with astonishment.
Delphinium can see the blinding flashes of light as the oscillating colors pulse from the death snail. At first Delphinium enjoys the show but they quickly begin to notice their friends seem odd. Delphinium flies in front of them and pokes their nose. "Kerwyn? Shavaris? Ward? I know its a pretty color but.... you're all charmed aren't you?" An evil grin spreads on the tiny fairy's face. While they are all enraptured by the colors Delphinium smiles and dips out of view of all of the folks currently charmed by the snail. It doesn't take Delph long to realize that Johnathan, Sir Didymus, Ludo and Hoggle are also fine. They smile at those unaffected and say "We don't have long with the storm coming!" as they pull out some kind of supplies that only those unaffected can see and Delph will ask for volunteers "Wanna help?" Delphinium will then proceed to hand out supplies to any who agree and as they do say "As soon as we are done lets put a blanket over their head so they don't see the light! Okay! Ironsides! keep up the light thing we won't be long!"
Johnathan wasn’t impressed with the delay. They had a mission to do after all. That’s when he sees the snail. He sees those embers of light begin spark. Johnathan pulls up his coat in front of his face while hissing uncontrollably. His instincts kicked in. That’s when he notices Delphinium beginning to pull out colour paints and brushes. What is Delphinium up to? Johnathan gives Delphinium a dirty look. Damn this SNAIL. We are trying to do a stealth mission and you just bloody gave away our location. Delphinium I don’t know what game you are playing but please let’s focus. Johnathan runs over to the snail and tries to put his bedroll over the shell to stop the light coming through. Snail, stop. This thing means no harm. You are embarrassing us. While he is doing this Johnathan isn’t looking at Delphinium and the brushes, leaving them to play their scheme as much as they want.
Delphinium seeing Johnathan give them a glare sends the message they do not want any part of the painting shenanigans at all. "Awww, Johnathan wait wait wait! Damn! Gotta hurry! It's fine. We just got to be quick! Alright, Hoggle, Sir Didymus, Ludo you can help too! Anyway Here's some paint for those interested! I'm thinking a bear for Kerwyn, a clown for ward, and a tiger for Shavaris! I'll get the tiger!" Delphinium gives paint to those interested giving brown style paints for whoever wants to paint Kerwyn and colorful paints to whoever wants to paint Ward. Delphinium then flies over to Shavaris and begins to paint tiger colors all over their face. A bit more hurried then normal but they hope they do a good job! 16 to paint. Delphinium puts some quick white and orange stripes on Shavaris' face then kind of makes the whiskers into a tri-layered mustache giving them an old fashion villain tiger look. Delph can almost picture in their head the twirly mustache as they add the design. As quick as they can they make Shavaris as orange and white as they can even adding stripes to their armor and gear to match after they finish with the face. Its a bit rushed but hopefully Shavaris appreciates the new look!
Depending on how much time Delphinium has they will help the others or move onto a bear design on Ward. They figured that since Hoggle and Kerwyn talked so much together that Hoggle would want to handle them. The metal of Ward's body of makes it a lot easier to manage the paint. They will add details to whatever clown progress has been made definitely adding lots of white and red to the coloring of Ward's body. 11 to paint again. Its even more rushed this time as they try their best with whatever time they have before Johnathan stops the fun. Delphinium will look around after adding finishing touches to Ward to see if they can help with Kerwyn or if they are out of time.
Travin comes out of his trance with a jump! "What what?, AAAAAGH!" He immediately draws a rapier from just above his left shoulder and begins turning in a circle looking for his supposed attacker, the length of the blade is half the assumed length of the little person within the pile but he handles it well, it also surprisingly shines as if it has been looked after well, which starkly contrasts the rest of his dirty and dusty brown visage.
"What happened!? Hmmm? Did you trick Travin? Yeh yeh yeh tricksy strange folk!" It's at this point he sees the painted faces and his reactive aggression subsides as he fails to stop himself from pointing and laughing out loud in high pitched bellows at the three paint victims.
With a sudden realisation Travin touches his own face and the laughter slows into giggling forced breaths, he looks about his patchwork robe and tears off one with an image on it, in his hand the piece of cloth turns into a steel mirror and he inspects his own face until satisfied, he then resumes laughing at the others.
The first thing Kerwyn sees when he comes out of his trance is Hoggle, standing there with a paint brush in his hands, his bushy eyebrows raised in shock. He makes a little deep throated cry as he turns to run, dribbling paint as he goes...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kerwyn sees the shimmering light and then goes into a dreamlike state, with visions of Jareth, the labyrinth, and the the dwarf, Hoggle, finishing up emptying his bladder into a fountain, shaking once, twice, third times the charm, and then he gives a wink……time is stretched on….bright lights, twirling…..and the he wakes up, with the same dwarf bent over him. “What the Hell!?! My face is wet!” A guilty look on the dwarfs face a paint brush in hand. “Why was he bending over me like that?” He puts his hand up to his face…. wet. “WHAT DID HE DO TO ME??” Just then, thunder crashes and Kerwyn jumps up with a start. “THATS IT! ENOUGH!”
Kewyn whips out his thrown glaive and flings it at the dwarf twice.

Hoggle's stubby legs pump like his ass is on fire as he tries to get away. The glaive cuts through the air once and misses completely, then skims the Dwarfs leather vest on its second flight. The Dwarf screams.
Voices fill the air.
"Oh, oh, look look!"
"I told you they'd be there didn't I tell you they'd be there didn't you see the pretty lights!"
"Oh, oh look look!"
"Look look! Didn't the master say to look for that one!"
"Open fire!"
There are multiple sounds. There's a 'boom' as something goes off nearby, and multiple arrow strings releasing. Goblins come from EVERY direction. Over the hedges, over the walls, from around corners, one even comes up out from under a tile in the floor. There are A LOT of Goblins. The Dawn Guard is suddenly completely surrounded. Goblins with guns, Goblins with cannons, Goblins riding big, BIG f***ing chickens. One of the ugly little turds is singing a song as he pushes through a hedge.

There's a crash of lightning...
DM of AURYN: The Measure of Devotion - Escape from New York
Attack 1 : Attack: 14 Damage: 12
Attack 2 : Attack: 24 Damage: 9
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
It starts to rain.
