The fairy flutters in the air near the ceiling and at first it becomes suddenly quiet. No more fighting. Delph hears Shavaris crying in the darkness. Its in that moment of realizing Shavaris is crying that the darkness lifts and Delphinium is able to see. The goblins have been defeated. Many dead but a few left unconscious by the fairy's fist. The goblins didn't matter though. Shavaris was crying! Was Delph not fast enough? Did the machine hurt their friends? Was someone dead? The fairy nods to Ralik and says "Thanks! I'm going to check on the others!" They flutter away and easily dart through the openings to look around and see who is hurt. Delph can see all their friends. Some look roughed up but in good health. Seeing no one needs immediate healing the fairy flutters over to the crying Shavaris and hovers near them as they gently touch their cheek and say "Shavaris? Is everything okay? Everyone seems okay... too many goblins died though..." the fairly looks sadly at the carnage on the machine as Travin and the others loot the goblins of their stuff on the otherside and out of Delphinium's direct line of sight. "I was hoping to knock them out and stop the machine... I wasn't fast enough. At least we saved Travin from the bladed machine." They land on Shavaris' shoulder and just offer some comfort as they give them a hug on their neck with their tiny arms "I'll just be here with you. You seem to need me now."
Shavaris is overwhelmed with what she saw right before the machine was revealed to her. She can't stop thinking about it and the pain it brings is more than she can handle. She briefly hears Johnathan call her name then his voice is carried away. When Kerwyn sits down next to her and starts in with his, um extreme confidence, she knows the act isn't really him, but knowing the man that has been by her side since the start of this entire thing is there..
Shavaris flings her arms around his shoulders and just lets her emotions go. She doesn't care who is around or what they just fought, she is happy she has the group of friends she has. Knows they wouldn't be where they were without them. Thankful for Kerwyn and almost ready to speak, she is surprised when Delph alights on her shoulder and gives her neck a hug. The gesture about brings on a new flush of tears, but she's about fresh out.
As she tries to control herself, Kerwyn and Delph hear, "She.. she's here. She said my name. How? How is she here? Why is she here? Am I haunted?"she looks into Kerwyn's eyes with such yearning to know the answer to her questions... the tears start falling again.
Delph seems very concerned and looks at Kerwyn and Johnathan questioningly then looks back to Shavaris as they ask "Who? Someone that you know? Here? Was it the person you saw before? Do we need to find someone? Wait, Haunted? Are they a friendly ghost? I've met a friendly ghost before. Very nice. Told good stories. If they a bad ghost I'll punch them!" The fairy looks very concerned for their friend and seems more serious then normal. They try to remember if anyone said Shavaris' name while the fight was happening but the tiny one cannot remember anything like that. They look to Kerwyn as well when Shavaris looks to them. The fairy looking questioningly at Kerwyn as if trying to puzzle out what Kerwyn knows.
Kerwyn sees Delph looking at him, somehow for an explanation, so he gives it his best shot. While sitting beside her, consoling her. “Ah, so uh she like lost her sister, she told us about it actually when we first met you, on that ship ride over and stuff. It was a bad deal, she was all broken up, it was a whole thing. So maybe that lady that she saw running that way, maybe ah, she felt like she looked like her? I dunno. Just give a little time, I’m sure that I can help take her mind off it. Whatcha gonna do….”
Kerwyn has a look on his face like he just explained the meaning of life. “C’mon now honey bun, it’s ok, you’re here with Kerwyn and all your friends, it’ll be alright.” he says murmuringly, trying to calm her down.

No more surprises Travin, ok. You can keep that thing but only feed it goblins. Johnathan leaves Travin, for now. He will be keeping an eye on him though, just in case. Johnathan then gives an annoyed look to Kerwyn. Clearly this wasn’t the time to be calling her honey bun. Something has gotten into him. He tries to think if he has ever heard of this happening before and if there is some remedy for his madness.
Medicine check: 11
He then turns his attention to Shavaris and talks very calmly to her. Is seeing your sister really a bad thing? In a way she gets to be with you, and you with her. She has come in moments when you needed direction. She guided you onto the boat that brought us her and now she is guiding you through the labyrinth. Johnathan pauses as he tries to think what to say next. Believe me when I say death isn’t always an end. There are some who possess enough will and determination to overcome it. Those that have a task to accomplish before they can know peace. Take some time for yourself Shavaris, we are still gathering ourselves for now. Johnathan leaves Shavaris to process whatever she is going through. Clearly she needed a moment. He turns to the cleaner where Ward is currently. He sees him inspect the machine. If we want to move it I saw how the goblins did it. They seem to jump on two pedals at the same time. However I don’t have a clue how they steer the damn thing. He turns to see Hoggle. Hoggle, how much further until we break surface? And are we gonna see more cleaners on the way.
Shavaris takes a few moments, then lets go of Kerwyn. As her friends stand around with their looks of concern, she smiles. "Thank you. Thank you all, Johnathan you're right. Having Eloise here can't be a bad thing. Just seeing her and having her speak my name.. was more than I could handle." She gives Ward a confused look, wondering if he knew that she actually saw her sister, not just missed her?
She then stands up, gives her body a shake, "I am sorry, I know that isn't typically like me, but well... guess I'll know what to expect when I run into her again. She actually showed me the mechanical thing, seemed to warn me about it."
Delph stays on Shavaris' shoulder and smiles at them as they reply "It's okay Shavaris, you can be sad if you want to. I'd be really sad if something happened to my sister. Eloise is a really nice name, are we going to go find her? If she's a ghost it sounds like she's a good one! Do you think I could be her friend? Then I'd have two ghost friends or just another friend! You can never have enough friends." Delph jsut kind of sits down on Shavari's shoulder as she gets back up. Delph braces themselves a bit as Shavaris shakes then the fairy jsut kind of relaxes on Shavaris' Shoulder and tries to start up a conversation to learn more about Shavaris and their sister as Delphinium says "My sister and I always fight. Not in a bad way. We are just always super competitive! I miss all the random challenges. I can't wait to see what she wants to challenge me to when I return home. How about you and your sister?"
Travin sees the sadness and attempted shrugging off of said sadness in Shavaris, he is however completely oblivious to the distrust Johnathan is showing him.
In an attempt to cheer up Shavaris he presents her with a gemstone, craning his head up to look in her face as he lifts the stone up toward her hands from his stooped position. "Holding onto a shiny makes Travin feel better, hmmm? Shavaris can hold onto this shiny yeh? Just for now, just until she feels good again, ooooooooh pretty shiny yeh yeh yeh!"
Ward quickly has a flash of memory and checks a bag, seeing nothing he flips off the inside and then mutters something after a sound of thunder is heard. Then he organizes all of the BADGERS and tells them to help the group with moving the machine if needed before beginning again to work with some wood and tools from his bag.

Shavaris smiles at Delph, happy to hear about their relationship with their sister. Just as she is about to respond Travin gives her a gem, his something shiny. She accepts it, "Thank you Travin, I appreciate the gesture. It is very beautiful." there isn't much light to shine it against down here, but it is quite beautiful all the same. She tucks it away and gives Travin a pat on the head.
Turning back to Delph, "My sister? Why she is the one that should be on this mission, not me. She is, I mean was, the brave one, the strong one, the quick one. I just did my best to keep up." she smiles remembering, gives a bit of a shrug, "She always dragged me along though with whatever hair brained idea she had. Guess I learned a lot from her." Shavaris is gazing out in the distance, but then looks back to Delph, "But I'm the one good with the knives" she winks at them, "her weapon was the bow, though she was deadly with it."Talking about Eloise did cheer her up and she brushed her cheek against the fairy in thanks.
She starts looking around the catacombs now that she had her wits back about her. She looks at the machine with the crudly worded Dawn Guard on it, she looks over at Ward and gives him a confused look as she wasn't sure why? "Have you guys figured out how this works?"she heads to the back of it to look, and see what the tunnel looks like behind it.
Delph listens and nods along. They seem happy to be talking about family with Shavaris as if they had a lot on their mind too. Delph seems perfectly content to be hanging out with Shavaris continuing their talk, "You always seem so skilled to me. Your sister must be or been amazing! Skilled with a bow too? Wow! My sister and I were terrible with bows. I think she was technically better then me though. We had some our size made. I ended up having the string hit me in the face when I tried it first. Ended up with a red mark on my face for a day. Poinsettia only dropped it on first attempt. We always learned things together, actually... we did everything together... I feel weird without her around. I think this is the longest I've ever been apart from her." The fairy doesn't look sad at this thought as much as very thoughtful.
As their conversation continues Delph finds chances to continue their talk of family with Shavaris as able. A distraction of the machine offers a break from talks of family. As Shavaris asks about the goblin's machine. Delph pipes up saying "Oh! I knocked out two goblins. They might know how to work it? You all really should stop killing everything by the way. I don't think they will want to share surrounded by... wait... where are all the goblin bodies?" Delph looks around very confused.
As Delphinium looks around at all the missing bodies they look to Travin as they explained they cleaned them. The fairy looks confused at first and then says as if suddenly understanding something "Oh! You want to talk to them without them knowing you killed their friends? I definitely shouldn't talk to them then. I can't really lie. I'll let you handle it. It's kind of all you big folks problem for killing them in the first place. We can work on all you big folks not killing stuff though! Anyway, yes! Talk to them. Can you ask about the unicorn and where it went too? I really want to find them quick so I can get back home. Oh! Also ask if the goblins have seen a woman similar to Shavaris around here!"
Ralik moves further into the tunnel. When he is around 15 feet away from anyone he unsheathes his sword to bring back his orb of darkness as he travels further. Once he is around 100 to 200 feet in he lays a string across the ground about 2-3 inches off tied to pitons on either side of the wall, then runs another thread along the the wall of the tunnel back where the group is tied to another piton he staked into the ground, then attaches a bell to the string that is closer to hear as a makeshift alarm system. Once he is done he sheaths his Darkness enchanted sword to subside its effects until its needed again within its duration time or just let it dispell after its time limit. This alarm would give the group some buffer for when any reinforcements that would arrive from this direction if any were to come. Preparation was his way of dealing with stress. Though it was redundant due to his and Running Bird's vigilance, it was something to do to distract him from the many questions and doubt running though his mind.
After this he comes back to see Kerwyn consoling Shavaris. It was odd to see his comrades be so close, as if they had gone through much and bonded over night. Ralik's confusion was evident in his awkward silence and observation. He stands by Running Bird, calming it down with some neck pets and scratches.

Travin rouses one of the unconscious goblins, shaking ut hard until it wakes, he then begins speaking fast and happily in goblin, laughing every now and again, this takes a little time...
Half way through his high pitched dialogue Travin turns to the group, "anything special you wants to know? Hmmmmm?"
“I have a few questions” Ralik says in strangely elegant and fluent Elvish. “Hopefully the goblin shall not understand us if it were to rouse.” He pauses, looking towards Shavaris. He knew only one other language and hoped Shavaris wouldn’t take offense, as if what he were doing could be considered an offense. Regardless, he continues.
“The last thing I remember was dancing to my Goddess and entering Revelry. I lost myself in it. I remember being in a realm of soft dark light bathed in the moon. Running Bird was there It was beautiful. I hear a voice as soft as as breeze and as comforting as a mothers hold. Then there was a flash of purple that startled me. “How long have I been gone? Where are we, and what are we here for?” He asks calmly but curiously.

When Ralik so easily switches from common to elvish, it surprises but pleases Shavaris to hear her language spoken so well from her friend. Switching to elvish herself, "Hmm... it's good to my ears, hearing my language on your lips." she smiles up to him and then processes what he is actually saying.
"That is how it happened to you? Oh Ralik, you're on a completely different continent now! We left Fantasia, we're on Eternia now. We escaped that continent just as Vader troups were starting to assemble. We met Delphinium on the ship over, he was looking for our group and we met Ward once we landed in Witchaperch. Ward informed us about the wizard Schmendrick and the Red Bull. There, we uh, had a little mishap with a carnival, you can ask the others about that. We then met some mushroom people in the mushroom forest, I think Ward befriended some? Unfortunately something was hunting us there, we were lucky to all get out alive. Aoe left us then, something about how being so close to the Goblin King's kingdom wasn't good for his reputation? I could have that wrong though. Just outside the labyrinth, we met up with this group," she points to Ludo, Didymus and Hoggle, "and had the pleasure of meeting the old goblin king, I'm sure he'll show up again at some point. Then poof, you appeared! So good to have you back"
Turning from the goblin, Travin states as clear as he can "goblins boss Blix is on the throne in the goblins castle! Yeh? Cleaner machine doesn't turn, just goes down tunnelses, yeh! Lots more cleaners are around, hmmm. More goblins out to get us" he then points finger to Shavaris a concerned look on his face.
In Elvish, Shavaris hears Travins voice rattling through her brain, "they ran over the woman in the tunnel hmmm Travin is sorry"
As he does this the awake goblin stirs behind him, it does not look happy anymore.
The fairy flutters in the air near the ceiling and at first it becomes suddenly quiet. No more fighting. Delph hears Shavaris crying in the darkness.
