Regula draws his longsword and shield in front of his body in a combat stance, readying an attack with the sword should anyone in his threesome (Regula, Bearkiller, or OldMan) be attacked upon entering.
FYI - this type of action lasts until my next turn, which will depend on initiative order once we enter the room.
Sorry I thought the boys killed both Goblins. Can OldMan take a shot with firebolt at Goblin 4 before we break left and right? or did I already take my action? I got confused what the situation was.
@OldMan, if you want to take one additional shot at Goblin 4 before the group enters, that's fine with me! Otherwise, we'll go in the room and take on whatever is in there.
The firebolt flies over Galbon and hits the goblin who is peaking from behind the crate. The bolt hits the goblin but the crate took some of the brunt of the bolt. Looks like some shards of crate splintered into the goblins face causing pain but he's still kicking.
As the party enters the cavern and fans out according to the plan, you see the sacks and crates of looted provisions piled up in the south end of this large cave. To the west, the floor slopes toward a narrow opening that descends into darkness. In the middle of the cavern, the coals of a large fire still smolder. The first goblin to pop up as you enter is Goblin 4, so Jake can take his readied attack on the creature.
After that, the initiative order will be as follows:
Goblin 4 attempts to doge the sacred flame of Ilmater but is unable to move out of the way quickly enough in the cramped quarters behind the crates (12 to save), taking 4 points of damage (2 hp left).
Jake speaks to Ilmater rapidly in hushed tones. He has asked a lot of his deity in a short time, but he hopes the line of communication remains open. Jake casts sacred flame again, this time on goblin 3. The he steps 5 ft south to put some distance between him and goblin 3.
Hearing the commotion behind me and glancing briefly over my shoulder, I move 5' to the west, charging the wolf with my longsword at the ready, bringing the full weight of my blade down upon it (24 to hit; 4 damage).
Thallan closes (5' step) to where the goblin (4) dove for cover, swinging down with his longsword in a manner designed to cleave the head clean off. (HD 5+6=11) the flames throwing off his swing, the blade breaking into a wooden crate.
(Galben moves in front of Jake to offer some protection, pulls an arrow from his quiver, nocks it and draws back taking aim at Goblin 3. Releasing the arrow it pentrates through the cover and strikes the Goblin in the heart. Grabbing it's chest it falls behind the boxes)
(Attack roll 19+5=24: Piercing damage 4+3=7)
"Let's go help the others." (Turning his attention to the far side of the cavern.)
OldMan quickly assessing the situation decides to try to end the Ripper so that the whole party can focus on the heaping pile of goblin dung known as Klarg.
Casting magic missile (FYI I misread what the spell does before. Correct description is 3 darts each dart hits automatically and does 1d4+1 damage. DM let me know if I once again have it wrong). (side bar Jake how are you linking the spell info when posting? I'd like to add that to my posts). Sorry back to the game.
Raising his hands and speaking the incantations, OldMan summons his most reliable spell Magic Missile. 3 darts zip out of his hands and fly around Regula and the stalagmite slamming into the Ripper's body. One dart going into the beasts ear and coming out the other causing the animal's head to go back and to the right. Strange since the dart came from the other side.(damage 3+1 = 4 times 3 darts = total damage 12). The beasts yelps in agonizing pain from the magical attack. It tries to crawl back toward it's master but could only muster one shaky step before it falls dead.

(Galben looks to the group)
"Should we go in now?"

(Galben nocks an arrow from his quiver onto his bow. Readying an attack should anyone in his threesome, Thallan, Jake or Galben, be attacked)

Jake will cast sacred flame on first goblin to present itself. If that's goblin 4, so be it.
Thallan prepares to round the corner, waiting for the sizzling death rattle of the last (know) goblin.
OldMan casts trusty firebolt 19+6+25 hit- 1 damage.
The firebolt flies over Galbon and hits the goblin who is peaking from behind the crate. The bolt hits the goblin but the crate took some of the brunt of the bolt. Looks like some shards of crate splintered into the goblins face causing pain but he's still kicking.
Jake speaks to Ilmater, invoking sacred flame. If it hits, it will do 4 points damage.
(Galben turns towards Goblin 4 and draws his arrow back as well, letting the it fly)
(Attack roll 15+5=20: Piercing damage 4+3=7)
(The arrow flies straight at the Goblin's aiming eye and pierces right through it, causing the beast to fall to the ground...lifeless)
"One down, keep the pressure up" (With a small grin on his face)
