If everyone is done with the cave, you slowly begin to move the crates and the unconscious bugbear to the wagon.
When attempting to move Klarg's loot pile, you find a treasure chest that contains 600 cp, 110 sp, two potions of healing, and a jade statuette of a frog with tiny golden orbs for eyes. The statuette is small enough to fit in your pockets.
You gather the crates with the help of Sildar. He also finds his set of armor and weapons stashed away.
The sun is almost setting when you leave the cave, and by the time you reach Phandalin it is almost midnight. The small town is made of forty or fifty buildings and some ruins covered in moss.
Sildar turns to you all and says,
"Friends, I know a local inn where we could settle for the night. It's very quaint."
"Marvelous. We shall solve the bugbear problem in the morning. If he's been properly tied I don't think he should wake before morning. But if you want to be really sure, we could take turns watching the wagon."
The establishment he leads you all to is a cozy small inn by the roadside, newly built of fieldstone and rough-hewn timbers. Few people are present at this late hour, but most of them are nursing mugs of ale or cider, all of them eyeing you with curiosity.
You see a short, friendly young human male sitting by the counter. He welcomes you briefly.
"Hello, good man. Do you happen to have any rooms empty?" Sildar asks.
"Aye, I have 6 upstairs. 5 silvers for the night or 8 with meals included," the innkeeper answers.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"I can sit outside with the cart and our guest. This village is a large improvement on Neverwinter, but I'd enjoy the fresh air after that smelly cave."

The night passes uneventfully, Maris doesn't really see or hear anything out of order.
"Oh gods, yes! An inn, a bed and a bowl of warm stew. My legs are sore from all that walking..."Tessa says wearily, but happy to have finally arrived. The cleric crawls into her bed, it doesn't take long before she starts gently snoring.
On the morning, she is up early to finish her prayers. And then downstairs for a healthy breakfast.
"So, busy day today? We need to deliver Gundren's cargo, and also find the owners of the crates from the goblin lair. Oh, and question the bugbear! If he knows where Gundren is, we should go after him. Is there a prison in town? We should definitely take Klarg there. Maybe some time behind the bars will loosen his tongue."
(levelled up, and updated character sheet. Took the default hp)
Adrenaline still coursing through her veins, Lillian heads off to bed. She cannot stop thinking about how her (former) master's magic abilities would have helped in confronting Klarg and his goblins. She has something of an epiphany and frantically begins taking notes on scraps of paper.
(Lillian faces something of a dilemma in that her next few levels will be as a wizard. She does not possess, nor can she currently afford, a spell book. So, other than cantrips, she has no way of learning any spells.)
We should get those blue lion crates and anything else off first, then deliver Gundren's supplies, as the oxen and wagon were party of that delivery. Maybe sell the frog statue too. We might want to pool some of our money for really necessary equipment, like upgrading armor or I heard Lillian say something about wizard training and needing a spellbook?

Everything will fit just fine in the cart as long as you all follow on foot. (except drivers, of course)
Maris will spread the coins out on the ground and take a few minutes to count it out.
"That's 120cp and 22sp for the 5 of us. Now, I've got some empty space in my pack and I could carry the heavier boxes."

"So many coins, and of so little value." Tessa smiles, and puts the coins on her purse - which feels quite full and heavy now.
"To work, then! Let's carry the crates to the cave entrance. I think we should then go and get our cart and load the crates here."
"Oh, and remember the traps on the trail!", she adds after a moment.

"Quaint is good. Do we need to get the goods to their final destination before we settle in for the night?"
Teslyn says, "I doubt the places we need to drop off will be open, they'll be safe at the inn stable. I'll get up early and drop them off."

The innkeeper looks to Duncan and says "that will be 48 silvers for all of you, meals included."
If everyone is done for tonight and ready to head to bed, you may take a long rest, and... you also level up!
Go ahead and adjust your sheets accordingly. You can either roll for hp (on the sheet) or take the average.
