Is there a prison in town? We should definitely take Klarg there. Maybe some time behind the bars will loosen his tongue."
Sildar has been the first to come down for breakfast. As he hears your question he says: "yes, there are a few cells by the townmaster's hall. I am heading there as soon as I finish my meal as there is some business to be addressed. Also, I shall acquire the money to pay the fee for your services by noon, the latest."
Unless someone got him, Maris will continue to wait at the cart, playing his flute. If the Bugbear stirs, he'll tighten the knot and knock him out again at needed.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
You'll find Maris, sitting upside down on the cart, feet in the air, playing his flute.

He'll see Lillian and backward somersault to stand up. "Good morning, is it time to be paid? A bit of shopping would cheer me up. This one's not been much for conversation."
"Sildar said something about securing our wages for the transport of the goods. I have no idea where we need to take this charming fellow or who might be interested in what he has to say. We also need to see who might be missing these other boxes and find out what may have happened to Master Gundren. Sounds like we have a busy day ahead."
"How about we drop by the Town Hall first, and hand over Klarg there? I'd rather have the furry fellow behind bars than staying with us,"Tessa says, pointing at the bound bugbear. "Besides, the Town Hall is right next door,"she adds, after consulting the map.
"Then I shall take this chum next door then." Maris smiles. "Reminds me of this time, my cousin got caught by the Knights in Silver trespassing some mage's tower. My other cousins, they had this bugbear they were friendly with, and long story short, they made it look like the bugbear was their prisoner and talked their way all the way into the detention ward. But then the alarm was sounded and they had to escape in the sewer. Whatever new smell they discovered down there, they smelled of it for weeks, my aunt wouldn't let them in the house for almost a month."
Maris will pull the bugbear by his ankles, let him drop on the ground and drag him towards the Townmaster's Hall.
Lillian starts to follow the others. "Is there anything we think we should try to find out from Klarg before turning him over, or will we leave interrogation to the local authorities?"
The townmaster’s hall has sturdy stone walls, a pitched wooden roof, and a bell tower at the back. Posted on a board next to the front door is a notice written in Common. It reads: “REWARD—Orcs near Wyvern Tor! Those of a mind to face the orc menace should inquire within.” The notice bears the town’s seal and an indecipherable signature.
As you enter, you are welcomed by a fat, old man wearing simple clothing with a small pair of spectacles on his nose. Sildar is the first to address him:
"Good day, are you perhaps townmaster Harbin?"
To which the old man responds,"Indeed I am. Harbin Wester, at your service."
"I am Sildar. Sildar Hallwinter - from the Lords' Alliance. I take it you've been informed in advance about my visit?"
For a moment, the townmaster is a bit shaken by the question but quickly recovers his composure, going back to his usual mannerism."The Lords' Alliance, yes... yes. And who might your friends be?"and he gives you all a quick glance.
"Ah, pardon my manners. These are friends - a traveling group of adventurers hired by Gundren. They saved me from a goblin ambush..."
"Oh my... orcs and goblins. That's just... not so great - let's put it this way. Anyway, how may I help you today, travelers?"
"Well, one bugbear in any case. We think this one knows who took Gundren, as well as where and why he was taken.?"
He finally sees the bugbear dragged in by Maris, as if he hasn't noticed its presence before, and his eyes widen.
"O-Oh my... then what are you proposing?"he continues wiping his brow and pacing around. "We don't have guards or authorities here... I'm afraid I can't do much for you..."
"Town this big and growing, no guards or authorities? Recipe for disaster..." says Teslyn.
He just sighs.
"We'll just get him in the cell for now, if that's ok with you, Harbin sir," Sildar says. "If need be, we can trial him under the Lord Alliance's jurisdiction."
The town master, although reluctant, sighs and pulls out some silver keys from his pocket.
"Just through there, down the stairs. Both cells are empty right now."
"You should definitely hire some guards, sir." Tessa offers her advice. "But worry not. If your cell is solid, I don't think guards will be necessary for the moment. We'll come back to have a chat with this one once we're finished our errands."
She makes a mental note of the notice about the orc problem. This group seemed quite capable, so perhaps helping the locals to get rid of the orcs would be a good idea.
Coming out from the door, the halfling spots the build across the street. "Hey! Isn't that the same blue shield as on the crates we found? Let's see if the crates' rightful owners are there!" Eagerly, she starts leading the cart towards the Lionshield Coster.

He pockets the 5 gold and thanks Duncan for his kindness.

OOC I took the average too.

(The supplies from Gundren have to be dropped off to Barthen's Provisions)
Sildar says, "you can find the Lionshield Coster right across the street, fret not."
He also hands you a map. "Feel free to keep this, friends."

"B-Bugbears... you say?"
