Flint, you are right. I got my Genasi confsed. I am trying to rebuild my one-drive notes that I lost..
Linene comes back for a moment to ponder the clues. "East of us and Dragon kin... Well I think you have the right idea about Wyvern's Tor. It has been a problem throughout our history as an area that migratory Wyvern use it as a nesting ground... As to Wave Echo Cave... That is the legend that Gundren was hunting. From what I have heard, the only way to get there is through means of transporting there... but I am not sure."
Sarith says "There was a story among our people that a civilization of Dwarves was built over a cave of wind and water. The energy there was to powerful for them, and they became shadows of their former selves. I do not know any more then this, but perhaps it has something to do with what Gundren was looking for?"
Barda says "There are some ruins to the east of here. It is where Gundren marked on this map as Wave Echo Cave, with the question mark. But he did not have time to research into it because he was busy trying to re-establish the mines to the south."
When Cyrnair mentions the angels building reinforcements, Sarith says "As I was heading down this morning, I saw angelic beings carrying stone from the mountains to the north path."
Aowyn is bouncing up and down, barely containing her excitement. "They build a Keep for us! That is what I wanted to show you, but Sarith already mentioned it. It has walls, and towers, and a 3 story stone structure above the hideout. Its incredible! Its grey and white, and has a drop gate and everything! Its like our own mini castle! But it seems that between the hideout and the keep, we could potentially house everyone in town in a time of emergency!"
"It seems we have something more of a plan," Ennis nods in acknowledgement. "My only question now is whether or not we're going to go aid and escort the refugees, or if we feel the hunt for these relics is more pressing."
Seeing that the conversation is more or less wrapping up and the leaders of the town heading out to meet the Fey touched peoples, the group grabs handfuls of food to walk out into the chilly spring air. The sun still hangs low in the sky, and it seems to illuminate the sky in a beautiful way. It seems that even without the morning lord, day continues to happen.
The thought crops in on some of you. 'If the God "responsible" for the morning is gone, how does morning still happen. What really are the gods? Can Cyrnair still cast magic and if so, how?
Many thoughts leave your mind however as your eyes turn towards the hill that was Tresendar manner. What was once rubble is now a large keep, with a 20 foot wall with 4 creniladed guard towers. Each run of the wall is roughly 400 feet, and in the center is a steel drop gate, with thick wooden doors bound with metal. The gate is currently up, and the doors opened.
Standing in the center of the walls looks to be peaking out another story or so, a building that is easily 100 feet in all dimensions, and looks to be sitting directly on top of the entrance to the hideout.
Excitedly, you all move forward up the path toward the keep. The stone is brilliant white with grey coloration in the swirls. The wood, a warm oak. Walking through the walls, you realize they are nearly 10 feet thick, and looking up, you guess they are 20 feet tall. Each guard tower is another 10 feet above it.
Inside, you find a small garden, and a building that looks to be a combination of stable and storage shed.
The Keep has a section that branches off to the south that is 1 floor and goes the full length of the Keep, and all the way to the wall. It looks to be a barracks of some sort.
"All this was built last night..." Frixori says. "I work up and came upstairs from the hideout, and I was standing in another room. It took me 10 minutes to figure out how to get out. The place is huge!"
Aowyn says excitedly "I have not looked around inside yet. The barracks are great though. There is even a training ground behind it. I will start moving the soldiers I am training in here over the next week or so. I dont know how this came to us, but I am sure going to use it.
Cyrnair looks for the solar that talked to him earlier and if he sees him he will walk directly to him to thank him ( If he met him I would like to ha ve a conversation via PM). If not he will stop in the middle of the garden and silently thank the solar and the devas their hard work.
" A last gift from the Morning Lord and their angels. I would call it Angel's Keep, in honor of those who had built it." he turns to Caradoc " Because Keep Built In One Night By Angels or The Chosens Hideout doesn't really fit... " he winks to his friend.
As you all walk through the garden the golden bodied Solar floats down in front of you. His massive and imposing size is impressive.
"The Morning Lord wished me to spend a brief amount of time with you before we all depart for the plane of Air. He wanted me to convey his grand Hope's for you within this plane, and to ensure your safety and the safety of your people. Between the 2nd and 3rd floor of your underground bunker, and this keep, you should be able to keep much of your peoples safe."
" to further ensure your safety, We have built 2 layers of walls blocking the deep ravine road path between you and the rest of the sword coast. There are guard towers and gates, so commerce can happen, but if it is properly manned, you will be quite secure."
Resting his massive hand on Cyrnairs shoulder he says, "I see questions in your mind. What can I answer for you. I will answer all that I can, but please keep it brief if possible. We expended a great deal of energy here this day, and without the celestial plane to recharge us, it takes longer to recover."

"There is still Hope as the sun still rises," Flint remarks when the party steps outside in the mid morning air. Following the air genasi to this new construction apparently being built by the angels that came through with them, the cleric marvels at the feat that was performed here. "Overnight, you say?! The gods and angels have truly blessed us here."
When the solar make mention of the ability of commerce to continue, Flint turns to Ky'Lera, "Would you like to make sure your 'uncle' and his people safely make their way down here? I would think we can take a day or two before we take up our quest to find the artifacts Lathander has told us about."
“I will depart with more confidence and piece of mind knowing that they are safe behind the walls “ tells Cyrnair to Ky’Lera and Flint to make their decision easier knowing that he will not oppose that course of action if they choose to follow it.
He then sprouts his wings and flies up with the solar.
”Should we?” He says pointing to the top of the eastern tower and flying up there to talk with him.
"I understand your need for privacy Cyrnair, but questions and answers should be given freely in the face of such dangers. Lathandar answered what he could in the time he had left. I will answer what I can as well."
Cyrnairs PMs: Sorry Cyrnair. The Solar wishes to speak openly with all of you.
As they reach the top of the tower Cyrnair says to the solar.
”First of all. I want to thank you all for your hard and incredible work here. No words will make justice to the gratitude we feel. Having the chance to keep all this people safe is more than I could have asked for. What’s your name? “ he asks and then he adress him by the name.
“I have many questions but I will be as quick as possible. No need to say that you will always be welcome here, at our home. I... I don’t quite understand a few things. I still feel Lathander’s heat inside me. I can still call upon his favor as I did before, when He still was... “ he looks towards the rising sun. “ Does that mean that some part of Him is still alive and that if we hurry and defeat Visarai before winter, He could still be saved and recover in due time? If not, where are this powers coming from? “ after this answers he says
“ You are going to the Air plane now to enforce the forces of the moon sisters... how do we keep in touch? Can we contact each other in case the need arises? Will we meet again brother? For a feel you as a brother, if not by blood, by the love we share for the Morning Lord, the pain for His loss and the desire for ending Visarai threat to the whole existence. Do you know who or what that gargantuan couatl was? Where it came from and how to defeat it? Did you see my half-brother in battle? Did he survived?
After all the questions are answered he says
“Please let me know if I can be of any assistance to all of you in any way. If there is anything I can do to help you just ask. “
He then shake the big solar’s forearm. “Be safe my brother. Until we meet again. May the Light of our Lord shine upon you.” Despite their conversation and the recent events, he still uses the formal sentences. Now they seem to have even more meaning than ever.
( I dropped all the questions at once for the shake of speeding but he will wait for each answer, or consequutive questions that may arise, before asking for the next one )
The Solar smiles down upon all of them, standing 12 feet tall. "I am known as Ra. I am the last remaining Solar from the brothers of the son."
To Cyrnairs question of access to his powers still, Ra says, "During the time when all magics was lost, this bit of knowledge was forgotten. Clerics and Paladins seem to have an odd hang up that their power comes directly from a God. It is not the case. You simply have access to the same driving force of the universe that powers all of our beings. Before the loss of knowledge, there were paladins and clerics that served no god. They simply... were. The Gods did not correct this mistake, as they knew eventually, you all would discover it for yourselves once more."
Looking to Ky and then Ennis, he says "You see these 2. Ky draws upon natural magic, yet she serves no God. Ennis draws upon arcane, but he serves no God. Cyrnair and Flint draw upon the divine, and I tell you now, you could do this without putting faith in a God. You all draw from the same universal energy, just different aspects of it."
Asking about Lathander and the chances of bringing him back to life, the Solar shakes his head. "He is gone. Dispersed into the last wish of your mother. There is thousands of years of lore that I could try to instruct you on, but you do not have the time to learn it. The short answer is, Lathander was not so different from me. He was a celestial angel... much like myself. Just moreso... was he actually a God? What is the measurement of what a God is? He was quite powerful, but then there again... so am I. Does this make me a God? The ant looks to a humanoid and to it, are you a God? To the average humanoid that does not have the powers you do... I suppose I could be mistaken as a God. But given time, all of you will amass such strength that you could be called gods among men as well... think on this lesson I give you."
In regards the question of your half brother and the couatl, Ra says, "Your half brother yet lives. I cannot see his path, but I imagine he is setting up a kingdom to rule within that bubble. He is one of Visarai's many lovers and her favorite toy. As to the massive Coautl, that is Visarai's true form. The Elf with green hair is simply the humanoid form she takes. Her story is sad and twisted itself, and I do not know all of it as her powers have blocked much of our sight. She was once a Celestial herself. A benevolent Couatl. A few hundred years back, she fell in love with a Wood Elf... Kys brother. She saved him from death, and he sang her songs in thanks. She eventually took the form of the elf you now know. They traveled many year together, and became lovers. During those travels, they came across a green dragon, that slayed Kys brother in the battle. Her magics brought him back, and Visarai wounded the Green Dragon. Years passed, Ky was born, and you grew up knowing this woman as Visarai. It was 20 years ago that in there explorations, they came across the green dragon once more. The green dragon again slow your brother Ky. She tried to bring him back, but it failed this time. In her anger, she sleeps the green dragon... and consumed it. In doing so, she gained considerable power, and lost some of her benevolence. It is then that we lost sight of her, but in the past 20 years, she seems to have traveled all over the world, corrupting others, gaining powers, and laying the groundwork for all of this. What her plans are, I do not know."
OOC: Sorry Jess, I tweaked your backstory a bit.
Looking to the rest of the group, he asks, "any other questions before I must depart?"
"Is there any more that you can tell us of this Mordenkainen figure and the Five Sages?" Ennis asks after a thoughtful pause. "I've never heard of them before, and any lore or knowledge they might have left behind somehow would likely prove useful to us, in addition to the scroll that Lathander instructed us to seek out."
He adjusts his glasses as he awaits whatever response may come.
"Visarai was responsible for many things child, and much harm within the world. Thousands upon thousands have suffered over the 20 years since your brother died. She deserves death and so much more, but not for your brothers death. It was because of his death though, that all of this sparked."
In response to Ennis, he says, "Hundreds of years ago, long before the loss of knowledge, there were 6 incredibly powerful wizards and sorcerers that were highly focused on the advancement of knowledge. Many magics, like the hut you use to sleep at night, were invented by them." Ra says to Ennis.
"Slowly, 1 by 1 they started to die due to mysterious deaths. The remaining ones created a pocket dimension, a private sanctum in which to research and keep their knowledge safe. It was discovered that 1 of their numbers made a pact with one of the few remaining death lords, to become a new minor deity. The 3 remaining sages along with an army of men fought against their one time friend, now named Vecna. The battle destroyed a great deal of land to the east, permanently corrupting it, but they managed to kill Vecna and the lord he made a pact with."
Ra takes a breath and says "Go to Neverwinter and seek out the library of Mordenkeinen. There you will find clues as to where their sanctum is. I would tell you more if I knew the location, but despite common thought, even the Morninglord was not all knowing."
Looking to the group, he says "anything else before I depart."
Ky shakes her head in shock. Walking away from the group she says slowly. "Well.. that changes things... I'm... a... im gonna go meet my uncle at the wall. Fill me in on anything else that goes on..."
"Library of Mordenkainen...in Neverwinter..." Ennis says quietly, almost under his breath, as he commits that golden nugget of information to memory. He gives a firm nod in response before turning to the rest of the group, waiting to see if any other questions are forthcoming.
Ennis watches Ky walk away with the stuttered explanation of going to meet her uncle.
He adjusts his glasses.
He then looks to Gelin, who voiced similar thoughts about going meet the refugees.
"Is that not EXACTLY what I suggested our first course of action should be back in the tavern? I'm starting to feel like no one heard me when said that."

Looking to Aowyn her eyebrows rise. "A keep built by angels?"
“Then I suggest to go to that place Gundren thought was the Wave Echo Cave, then to that migratory Wyverns spot ? “ he asks to his friends.
“I have to see this!” Says Cyrnair, the news seem to give him some energy. “ Are we done here?” He asks to the others.
