@Koric
You resummon Balthar and attempt to have you both look around for any cover in the area, but as the storm continues to brew even more, and the water around you all begins to whirl again so forcefully that you can't see through it and are unable to find any form of cover. Even from the air, Balthar is seemingly useless and cannot find anything to help
@Soloth
You reach inside of you, hoping to get some advince from Ebondeath on what exactly you all should do here. Before you can hear anything back from him though, your focus is broken as the rushing water pushes you away from the frame of the portal and multiple lighning strikes hit the ground in front of the group. As the blinding light of the lighting stikes fade, the form of 6 boar-like creatures with lighning sigils all over their armor and one kraken priest standing at the front of the group. She immediately says "Attempting to resist the Stormlord again Ebondeath? I will put your back in your cell. Lord Talos will not be dealing with any more issues from you"
"And you six usurpers. This world belongs to Talos. I will not tolerate your dissent. You will pay the price for freeing this hellspawn with your lives!"
Soloth, you immediately hear ebondeath's voice take over as he says to the group "It's one of Talos's elite kraken priests, some of the most powerful of his mages. Do not let her stop us! We'll crush her where she stands!"
And with that, I will now roll for initiative! Elandra: 11 Jade: 6 Koric: 5 Balthar: 12 Liri: 9 Lux: 6 Soloth:8 Anchorites: 5 Kraken Priest: 5
Map + First moves (if one of the enemies goes first) will be up soon!

"Talos does not own the world. He cannot have it!" Liri snarls at the priest, angered by his arrogance and his words. She throws out her hands towards him and casts Moonbeam, a pillar of pale, silvery light cutting through the stormy air and surrounding the priest
(( I believe this spell's effect's don't start to happen until the priest's turn, but at that point, he must make a Con save against DC 15. If he fails, he takes 17 radiant damage, if he saves, he takes half of this. ))
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
A pea-size ball of intense heat flies from Koric's outstretched arm, hurtling toward the southernmost enemy in the top group of three. As it arrives it billows into a massive ball of flame.
Action: Fireball 18 squares east, 2 south; 27 fire damage, DEX save 17 for half. 20' radius should cover priest and 3 minions.
(( lol. No edits and manipulated rolls. This is plain broken. In any case: damage was 27 originally. Edit: and now it's not manipulated. @DM: Sorry, I forgot: Balthar was killed...will take a while to resummon, so he's not here atm ))
You attempt to smite the kraken priest with a moonbeam, but she takes the hit without looking all that injured. She retorts "Foolish half-elf. I will show you Talos' majesty soon enough"
@Koric
Your fireball hits all three of the upper anchorites for its full strength, all of them being far too clunky and slow to move out of the way in time. All three take the full 27 damage
@Elandra is up! Side note, I forgot to number the anchorites in the original map. 1 is at the top and they are in order going downwards. Will include numbers in the updated version after the enemy turns
Elandra tuts at the coming of the Kraken priest. Such bravado. After an entrance like that you're probably feeling a little dizzy! Jade, focus on getting us bacon for supper!"!"
Action: Hypnotic Pattern - 30ft cube hitting Boars #2, 3, and the Kraken priest. WIS save, DC15
Bonus Action, Bardic Inspiration on Jade (1d8)
Reaction: Counterspell - If Elandra believes the priest is trying to cast something big and nasty
You draw out a mesmerizing grid of colors, a twisted patern too complex for the simple minds of the anchorites to comprehend as it seems to begin to confuse them. The kraken priest on the other hand seems relatively unphased (rolls with advantage against being charmed)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
@All
The kraken priest and one of the anchorites are able to shrug off Elandra's spell, but the second anchorite seems caught in a trance, unable to refocus on the battle in front of it
The Kraken Priest, quite annoyed with this, turns to look at soloth and says "You shall not escape Lord Talos's grasp, Ebondeath" as she begins to weave a spell. The water begind soloth begins to churn more vigerously, and sensing that something is about to go quite wrong, @Elandra, you attempt to counter her spell
It is a 4th level spell, so that will require a roll. To keep things moving I'm just going to roll it now: 5
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
@Elandra
You go to attempt to counter the spell, but her magic is too powerful for you to overwhelm, and your attempts are quickly thwarted as she dimisses your magic with a laugh.
@Soloth, Lux, and Koric
As the kraken priest whirls her hands, a whirlpool forms behind Soloth, immediately pulling all of you towards it.
At the start of your turn, each of you make a DC 15 Strength check. If you fail, take 12 bludgeoning damage and you are restrained by the whirlpool until the spell ends. If you succeed, you take half damage and are not restrained
During your turn, if restrained by the whirlpool you may use your action to roll a DC 15 Strength check with disadvantge to escape from it. At the start of any additional turns you spend restrained by the whirlpool, take the damage again
@All
The Kraken priest then barks out orders to each of the anchorites, speaking some sort of twisted Abyssal that none of you are able to understand. They begin to move in a coordinated fashion, carrying out their orders
Anchorite #1 moves closer to the kraken priest and casts Bless on itself, Anchorite 3, and the kraken priest Anchorite #2 is incapacitated by the Hypnotic Pattern Anchorite #3 runs forward and casts Lightning Bolt on Elandra, also hitting Koric along the line of the spell. Both of you make a DC 12 Dex save or take 26 lightning damage. Take half as much on a successful save. Elandra, roll for concentration Anchorite #4 follows suit by moving forward and casting Lightning Bolt on Jade. Make a DC 12 Dex save or take 26 lightning damage. Take half as much on a successful save Anchorite # 5 moves closer to the kraken priest and casts Bless on itself, Anchorite 4, and Anchorite 6 Anchorite #6 joins #3 and #4 in casting Lightning Bolt, targeting Liri. Make a DC 12 Dex save or take 20 lightning damage. Take half as much on a successful save and roll for concentration
It is not! In that case, that entire section is canceled out and the Kraken Priest was incapacitated on her turn. I can't go back and cross it out in the message since that would cause manipulated dice rolls but Soloth, Koric, Lux, you now do not have to make that save. Elandra, you also do not use the spell slot for counterspell
The anchorites turns progress the same! Lux is still up!

((Apologies, just realised I should have specified I cast it at 3rd level, forgot it's technically a 2nd level spell))
(( Edit: Oh wait, nevermind, I actually rolled the 2nd level spell damage anyway. Lets leave it at 2nd level then. Sorry, it's late and I'm tired ))

Rolling all the saves in this post and doing resolution in the next:

Sorry, missed that! Kraken Priest Roll: 3
@Koric
She fails the roll, but resists the fire damage of your spell, taking only half of the damage. Elandra is up!

And here is a map update! Lux is up!

Koric Dex vs Lightning: 10; he also uses his reaction to cast Absorb Elements.
