Jane wants to examine the liquid that Meepo has, smelling it and examining where he rubbed it on his skin. "What kind of healing poultice is this, where did you get it?"
The door opens into a medium-sized room. The north and south walls of this chamber are stacked halfway to the ceiling with ill-made barrels, boxes, and crates. A clear path allows easy access between the west and east (the one you just stepped through) doors.
Hoghead pushes everyone back through the door and shuts the door behind them. He describes what he saw and then, "Hey guys." Hoghead whispers to the group "I'm pretty sure that this is a trap and these barrels are going to crash down on us. I'm fine with it but maybe one of you can just set them on fire and we can wait here while they burn or explode. Whadaya think?"

Bree leans into the room and then looks back at Hogshead 'Yea, a fire in here would be real bad. What if I scout ahead a bit? See if I can spot any traps?'
"You just have to know where to look,"Rantel says. "And listen." He pokes his head further in, and slowly makes his way into the room. He scopes things out in his practiced manner -- the only thing he really seems comfortable doing.
Rantel's practiced eye recognizes the pattern in the chaos - a poorly maintained but actively used supply closet. The only danger in the room is from an inadvertent collapse of the barrels full of ale and boxes full of rotting foodstuffs.
Making his way carefully through the room, the tortle gets to the far door, checking to make sure it's safe before listening carefully to get a sense of what's beyond.
He hears the sounds of goblins gathering and shouting at each other on the other side of the door.
Hoghead shrugs his shoulders. "I still would have destroyed everything but your way works too." He moves to the door on the far side. "OK, same plan. I'll go through first and you all come in behind me. I assume we're going to get ambushed so be ready." He readies his hammer and shield and goes through the door and about 5 ft into the room so that the others can come in behind and move out to the sides as needed.
Hogshead bursts through the door, shield up and weapon ready. The room runs 50-55ft from East (where you are) to West (door on the far side) and is 20 ft wide.
Several torches mounted in crude sconces burn fitfully around this chamber, filling the air with a haze. A double row of marble columns carved with entwining dragons runs the length of the hall.
On the far side of the room is another row of four crudely armored goblins, spears out and shields up. Another Hobgoblin commander stands behind them with three archers crouching behind, arrows knocked and ready to fire.
The Hobgoblin calls out in a loud clear voice 'Hold there intruders! You shall pass no further into our realm!'

"Oh, I believe that we shall pass further into your realm. As a matter of fact, your realm is about to get real uncomfortable!" Hoghead will walk 25 ft into the room and take the dodge action.
"Well now, we can avoid a mess if you give back the dragon you stole and apologize for beating Meepo, make it right. And if you know where two young folks who came here looking for adventure are, let us know," Rantel says, his longsword flickering briefly with flame. "You can keep your realm. You just need to be neighborly. Make things right." He winks.

Zerxius shrugs. "Any suggestions"

'Yes! Yes! Forward - forward! You can beat them. We must rescue Calcryx! Find your lost ones. Onward!'
The stringy, underfed Koblod reaches into the bag he has slung over his shoulder, pulling out a gourd with a capped cork.
'Here, here Meepo can help heal you!'
The kobold shakes out a noxious liquid that has a slight burning sensation to the lightest touch. Meepo rubs it on his skin to prove it's safe.
"Are you suggesting i use you to open the door then" Zerxius stares at the kobald

(ahhhhh sh***t - grammar tripped me up - just reread my post)
Door can be opened the normal way - handle with a lock underneath. The peephole can't be opened from this side. Sorry for the confusion.
Bree quietly approaches the door and checks it for traps (Investigation 3).
Turning back to the group she whispers 'Seems safe enough, and it's unlocked. Want me to open?'
Zerxius readies himself and nods

As soon as the door opens, Hoghead will push through about 5 feet in so that the others can come in behind and move out to the sides as needed.

“I can set some fires, but won’t that make it hard to get through the room?” Rantel says
