Aedar is readily able to find a wide collection of ropes, sacks, and rags, etc to restrain the bird creature. Meanwhile Klaes spies a door to room under the stairs. As he approaches the door he can see it is hanging loosely on broke hinges. What's more he can her the sound of breathing coming from under a tarpaulin towards the back of the room about 10 feet away from the door.
Aedar nods to himself as he restrains the bird creature with several ropes. "This should be sufficient." He then turning to Ophelia and Eryn adds "Let's see if our friend Klaes has found Volo's friend." Giving a last glance at the bird creature, Aedar, sword at the ready, walks towards Klaes's location.
Klaes signal for the group not to make any noise. He slowly goes to the tarpaulin and lifts it slowly, to reveal what is under it.

As Klaes lifts the tarpaulin the human underneath clambers to his feet and picking a few bits of what appear to picked herring off his clothes bows and says "my name is Renaer Neverember, my thanks for dealing with those Kenku but who may I ask are you and what are you doing here?"

As the figure introduces himself both Aedar and Klaes recall that they've heard this name before - it is one of the noble houses of Waterdeep. Furthermore one of the members of the family Dagult Neverember was until recently the Open Lord of Waterdeep. Aedar is also recalls that Dagult had a son with a name like Renaer or something familiar.
After the human speaks, Ophelia says "Hello, Mr. Ranaer. We are here to find someone called Floon Blagmaar. Have you happened to see him anywhere?" To the party, she says "They must have multiple prisoners. Maybe one of them knows where Volo's friend is."
"Aedar Silverblade at your service Lord Neverember" replies Aedar "As my friend Ophelia just said, we are searching one of Volo's friends, Floon Blagmaar." He nods to Ophelia "I agree with you, those Kenku were probably keeping more than one prisoner." He then adds "Good thing that we left one of them alive, we can try to further interrogate them after we have searched this warehouse."
Klaes tips his top hat. "Klaes Ashford. At your services, sar."

In response to Ophelia's question Renaer says "at the end of our night, Floon was how do you say somewhat under the weather. If I'd left him on his own who knows where he'd have ended up. Anyway I decided to walk him home but not long after we set out we were jumped by a bunch of thugs on Zastrow street who brought us back here!"

"So unless those Kenku moved him to another location, it's possible that Floon is still here somewhere." says Aedar "Let's search the warehouse." He then methodically starts searching the warehouse for Floon or any possible clues that may lead to his location. (Investigation20)
It takes the party about 45 minutes to do a thorough search of the warehouse. During this time they find behind a secret door two wooden crates. The first contains four wood-framed paintings, wrapped in leather, depicting Luskan, Neverwinter, Silverymoon, and Baldur’s Gate. The second contains fifteen silver trade bars, weighting about 10 pounds each, which are black from corrosion. In other crates they find weapons, rations, boots, black uniforms, and assorted other gear. Finally in a crate up on the balcony tucked away at the back they find hundreds of pairs of wooden-soled sandals that Klaes remembers were all the rage last summer.
But they do not find Floon.
As the party reconvenes after searching and is standing near the main door it suddenly crashes open and 13 members of the City Watch rush inside.
Klaes raises his hands, and looks to the other that perhaps they should do the same. "Greetings, we are herea searching for a missing friend, and we wish for no trouble."

"If we do not find anything, we could return to the street in the Dock ward where the City Watch arrested three members of the Black Network. Tymora's willing, we may find something that the Watch missed." Aedar pauses a moment "I fear that Volo's friend is now prisoner of the Zhentarim."
"Let as hope that we du not have to meet those fine Zhent gentlemen." Klaes fixes his suit, and prepares to follow Aedar to Zastrow Street.
