(can you pls wait for a player to explain what their character has found out? Windy may not want to tell the party something. In this instance she would but in future maybe not)
Upon seeing the bugbears she immediately returns to Leokoris and the rest of the party…still invisible, of course, and a voice excitedly speaks from somewhere in front of Leokoris., “There are two bugbears up ahead on the road! They’re big and nasty looking. They’re walking this way right now. I think we might be able to ambush them, but I don’t think we have a whole lot of time. Although, they don’t seem to be in a hurry. Possibly just out on a patrol the way they were together, lumbering along the road. But, still, I’ve got little legs and they probably take one step to my four steps.”
Misha does draw her crossbow out and, even though she is still invisible, moves around behind Leokoris.

Leokoris, you hear a disembodied voice in front of you which sounds a lot like Misha. When you look up, you see two bugbears coming over the hill. They see you and draw their weapons.
Misha digs into her component pouch and pulls out a small glass bison tube. Inside a living flea bounces around. She takes her index and middle fingers and wiggles them at the jar furiously and says, “Pulicis infestatio!”
The jar begins to fill quickly and she uncorks the top and an black cloud infestation of fleas and mites attacks one of the bugbears.
(OOC- Con save throw: 12. If fail, then 1d6 poison damage and target randomly runs 5’ in a direction. this does not provoke an opportunity attack though)
"Shoo! Shoo you insolent fools. Windy travels down this path. Windy makes safe for comapions, yes?"
Windy crouches down on all fours, digging her nails into the dirt below. Her body convulses and she screams a "YEESSSS?" as her back snaps. Her bones all break simultaneously and her eyes turn yellow. Her nose extends into a maw and where her boneless gums were grows razor sharp teeth. She stands proud on four legs, a dire wolf covered in grey fur and missing one eye.
"Windy help, yes?" she says to Leokoris mentally.
She bites at the Bugbear attacking Leokoris.
(Windy uses bonus action to wild shape and action to bite with advantage using pack tactics. 22 to hit. 7 piercing damage. DC13 strength or be knocked prone.)

(OOC So out of curiosity I googled "bison tube" as this was an unfamiliar term to me, and the results were blocked by my adult content filter. So I'm not sure what Misha is carrying around in her pocket, but now I'm scared...)
((OOC- a bison tube is a very small tube that geocachers use to hold micro-caches and then hide it somewhere. They are about 54mm x 13mm in size and cylindrical in shape. It is named after the manufacturer that makes them, “Bison Designs”))

Okay. Sorry, Windy. I will try to be more patient.

A wide grin spreads across the dwarf's face as he retrieves Frigga, preparing for battle.
A bugbear throws his javelin at Leokoris and misses.

Skorli, you're up.
Skorli shuts his eyes and begins to chant, invoking the blessings of the Eternal Forge on Leokoris, Misha and Xienuty. (cast bless)
Misha, your turn.
Misha digs into her component pouch and pulls out a small glass bison tube. Inside a living flea bounces around. She takes her index and middle fingers and wiggles them at the jar furiously and says, “Pulicis infestatio!”

5, the bugbear in the lead runs around swatting at the black cloud and screaming. It drops its morningstar.
The second bugbear swings its morningstar at Leokoris and misses.
Windy, Leokoris, then Xienuty

Very helpful, both of you :)
Leokoris fends off the morningstar handily with her shield, turning the bugbear to the side and bashing him with her father's hammer...

a likely story... ;)
Okay.
The lead bugbear is knocked prone by windy, but not before taking damage from Leokoris's attack.
Xienuty, your turn.
Then, the lead bugbear tries to stand up before getting hit again.
Round 2: Skorli, Misha, bugbear, Windy, Leokoris
Raising his warhammer on high, Skorli shouts a plea to the heavens, and the deep, dolorous peal of a bell rings out, centered on the lead bugbear.
(cast toll the dead WIS Save DC 14 else 24 necrotic damage)
(Edit wow- that sucked)
