<if anyone is waiting in me for anything, please let me know. We're not under initiative, but I called Akame the seer of a hidden thing. That said, anyone can assume they notice Akame notice the thing.>
Chadderlay cranes his neck to look up at the ceiling where the others are looking.
"Oh! I say! I never noticed that before and never would of thought to look up there. Maybe we should always look for hatches in the ceiling from now on. For that matter we should look for them in the floors too."

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Knocking on the hatch causes it to swing open, revealing a 5-foot-diameter vertical shaft that ascends 50 feet.
You ascend into an oval hall glittering with frost. Carvings decorate the walls, and long icicles hang from the ceiling. A ten-foot-radius dome of translucent ice encloses the area around the shaft from which you emerge. At the far end of the hall, two blade-shaped patches of pitch darkness hover in the air to either side of a double door. A glowing green crystal roughly the size of a human fist is set into the arch above the doorway.

"Those two black things look too much like swords for my liking, perhaps we can ask Everlast if there's a safer way or some way to deal with those swords, if that is indeed what they are?"
Chadderlay will try taking a few steps toward the glowing green crystal just to see what happens, fearing the black swords will leap to life he is ready to spring back the couple of baby steps he takes.

Sam peers through the hole, his huge body dangking from the ceiling overhead as his upper body fills nearly hslf the dome of frost. Chadderlay approaches the green gem above the door for a closer look. Sam and Chadderlay woukd recognize the blades of disaster, similar to those encountered. The shadowy blades seem aware of the duo and move rapidly toward them.

Anyone else joining the fray from below will have to figure a way past Sam unless he scrunched up inside that icy dome, drops down to the first floor, or finds a way through it, and the others can act after the swords.

A flash of brilliant strikes the spot where the dark blade stood, but just before it manifests, the nimble weapon evades the radiance.
Both blades come flying through the icy dome to attack Sam and Chadderlay, leaving sword-shaped holes in the frost. Chadderlay, in a moment of clarity recognizes the magic at play from their previous encounter with subject 42, and sees as they begin their swing, the name of the spell like a caption beneath the arcane creature, taking a mental photo declaring this to be a "living blade of disaster" and they were previously observed to pass through a wall of magical force. Sam, meanwhile, drops back down the hole, leaving the lone red wizard to take the brunt of the blades wrath
B1xChadderlay 24 for 26 force damage (78 on a 24 or higher)
B2xChad 8 for 26 force damage (78 on a 24 or higher)
Chadderlay is up. Others are under initiative, the exact number just doesn't matter, you're all up.
Note: one blade ends its turn within 5ft of Chadderlay, who at the start of his turn is met with a preemptive strike (reaction) from B1.
B1xChadderlay 15 for 26 force damage (78 on a 24 or higher)
Chadderlay will use his action to Disengage and some of his movement to get back to the hatch. Then use his bonus action to cast Misty Step and appear somewhere 30 feet below, and the last of his movement to get even further away.
"Two living blades of disaster coming this way, get ready!"

"Whatcha looking at, Akame?" The paladin peers upward. "Hey, what's that up there? Everlast, is it? Where does that hatch lead to?"
"What hatch, where?"
Chadderlay cranes his neck to look up at the ceiling where the others are looking.

Sam's up.

Sam will cast a sacred flame dex 16 or take 15 raident damge and pops his head down

Everyone else is right under this. If Sam allows it, you can climb him to get up there if you like.

I'll post the other map again, with blades this time.
Everyone else is up: Akame, Angus, Tetrevess, Morwena, and Avarice
Note: Everlast is temporarily absent. He's just a hologram.
Akame, Angus, Tetrevess: you're up.
