<you guys remember she can only die in an eclipse right? That's what you learned at Loomlurch. She can 0hp and show up again, unless you have a plan for fulfilling the prophecy>
(ooc: bear with me, I've never cast this spell before)
Trisk will cast Mental Prison on the hag and make her think she is surrounded by fire.
DC 18 INT save or take 31 psychic damage.
(here are the details)
You attempt to bind a creature within an illusory cell that only it perceives. One creature you can see within range must make an Intelligence saving throw. The target succeeds automatically if it is immune to being charmed. On a successful save, the target takes 5d10 psychic damage, and the spell ends. On a failed save, the target takes 5d10 psychic damage, and you make the area immediately around the target’s space appear dangerous to it in some way. You might cause the target to perceive itself as being surrounded by fire, floating razors, or hideous maws filled with dripping teeth. Whatever form the illusion takes, the target can’t see or hear anything beyond it and is restrained for the spell’s duration. If the target is moved out of the illusion, makes a melee attack through it, or reaches any part of its body through it, the target takes 50 psychic damage, and the spell ends.
(ooc: sorry, even if they save they take the 31 psychic damage.)

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
(ooc: can we try to remember what we know of when the next eclipse might be?)

Piccolo plays a quick tune that only Trisk can visualize.
Its an image of the sun in the sky, then a moon moving and covering it until there is darkness. Then an image of Piccolo casting a spell, a sunny day, the sun bright in the sky, then , an illusion of a moon forming in the sky, and moving to cover the sun. Then an image of the group killing the witch.
"Hmm... I wonder if that would work? We could certainly give it a try."
(ooc: can I use Major Image to fulfill the symbolic conditions?)

As the sound of Picollo's song whistles in the air, you gear a splash somewhere in the far side of the castle, barely audible over the clang of metal as Sam clashes with the armored man in the tower. *
In the sky, you hear the approach of the massive beast, it'd wings flapping as it rounds the corner if the palace of heart's content. It's bug-eyes surveying the horizon as it's head appears before it's sickly green body and membranous wings cover the amethyst sky. It burbles discordant tones as it flies toward the melee. (DC 18 Cha save, Roll a d4 on failure).
The creature sees the mass of radiant red bu bikes that was the hag and it's eyes turn red, glowing like embers, brighter and hotter until they erupt in flames that shoot 120ft towards the mass of noxious gas.
Sam, meanwhile is delivering a sound bearing to the dark knight with the flaming sword. Sensing the tones of battle turning against him, Warduke tries to shove Sam into the pit
Elidon freezes in place, seemingly confused by the eerie burble.
Players are up.
(If you want to use your reactions for this, go ahead. Or just take your turn. I'm fine with either)
<The hag would survive this, fire DR, but if you want to act before the flames touch her, you could possibly reduce her to 0hp and meet the criteria for the eclipse condition.>
Piccolo plays a few notes to Trisk. He gets the impression she can make an image of the sun in the sky, if he can create a moon image to cover it like an eclipse.
If Piccolo is able (Failed save above), she moves to 20 feet ,draws two more wooden thorny daggers and tosses then at the witch, or whatever is left of her, then moves back out to 30-40 feet.
24 to hit, with sneak attack if anyone in hand to hand with witch: 12 magic piercing
Strongheart, hearing the unspoken words of his sentient sword, Steele, sees theough the hags deception and keeps his focus on her.

(When is the next eclipse?)
(ooc: sorry, even if they save they take the 31 psychic damage.)
(ooc: can we try to remember what we know of when the next eclipse might be?)
Well, there's a sky of perpetual twilight, no sun and no moon, so I'd say not for a while.
Not if they're immune to psychic damage
I think the beetle thar crawled out if Skabatha mentioned it didn't need ro be an actual eclipse, and a representation would suffice.
Any ideas?
Anything from Sam? He's fighting Warduke

"What do we do now?"
